Why People Don’t Trust ‘the Science’: The Inside-Story of Injection Hesitancy

    From New Dawn 191 (Mar-Apr 2022)

The following article, published in early 2022, is a reminder of how the “science” of the COVID-19 pandemic was relentlessly politicised which in turn subjected it to constant mutations to conform to official narratives.

One of the answers to the title of this article is: “trust” has to be earned. We “trust” the science that enables aviation because, in the overwhelming majority of cases, planes do not fall out of the sky. Theories of aerodynamics were tested and demonstrated in repeated experiments until they could be proven, as much as anything can be “proven.” This is not the case when it comes to the anti-COVID-19 injections and certain other public health measures.

Governments and health authorities marketed the jab as a necessary intervention to reduce hospitalisations, initially implying that being injected would end the pandemic. This is not how vaccines traditionally worked. Another answer to the title is that, in this pandemic, vaccinology has not been a “science.”

The definition of “vaccine” has been changed by health authorities, not merely to update the latest technologies but to change the meaning of the effect of vaccination and immunisation. Standard procedures for vaccine development, particularly the ten-year timeframe, have been abandoned. A small number of top-level, pro-injection scientists ignored by media have cheerfully described the jab and its implementation as an “experiment,” yet the same media that hide these scientists say that the injection is not an experiment.

Nationalistic propaganda has selectively demonised certain injectable products and favoured others, even though the alleged vaccines are similar in terms of development timeframes and efficacy rates.

After being told that the injection will allow the public to return to “normal,” governments and health authorities then introduced – and many imposed – a second injection, followed by a third, then a proposed fourth. With no large-scale clinical trials, people were told that they could “mix and match” the injectable products (e.g., an AstraZeneca first dose, a Moderna second, a Johnson and Johnson third. This is called “heterologous vaccination”).

With COVID-related hospitalisations continuing, along with mask-wearing and social distancing, many who chose to be injected, as opposed to being coerced, began to question the validity of government claims.

    EYEING THE NEEDLE

So, who exactly doesn’t – or didn’t – trust the injection “science”? An October 2020 survey found that attitudes toward proposed vaccination varied significantly from country to country.

In 2020, only a third of adult Americans surveyed wanted a vaccine “as soon as possible.” Those who did had good reason. Most of them were over-65, i.e., in the most COVID-vulnerable category and had or had lived with someone with underlying health conditions. Four in ten respondents of all ages were split between those who would definitely get vaccinated and those who wanted to wait and see. Lumping “definitely” with “wait and see” is a strange way to tabulate poll data, but there it is. The pollsters found that 9 per cent of respondents would get the jab only if coerced (i.e., in order to continue their education or employment). Fifteen per cent said that they would never get injected. Unlike the “as soon as possible” group, the “never” cohort tended to be Republican (41 per cent to 25) and most had no higher education (53 per cent to 38). This paints refuseniks as reactionary rubes. But other polls show that vaccine hesitancy is high among PhDs, who also tend to be Democrat voters.

An online survey of five million people took place between January and May 2021, when the injections were rolled out. Hesitancy across all groups decreased from a quarter to 16 per cent. The hesitant reported fear of side effects as their main reason. It is also worth noting that for millions of people in our “capitalist” order, a missed workday can mean no pay or even the sack. The survey authors found a U-shaped curve; the least and most educated alike were the most injection-hesitant: 20.8 per cent of people with a “high school or less” education were reluctant, as were 23.9 per cent of PhDs, compared to 8.3 per cent who had master’s degrees and 18.3 who had “some college” education. Apparently, this revelation – that those in the “hesitant” cohort included so many people with PhDs – was too embarrassing for the PLoS journal to publish because it goes against the “trust the science” narrative. This information appears in the pre-print, but not in the final publication. It is not disputed or analysed but simply removed.

    POLITICAL PARTISANSHIP

Science should be objective. Can an aeroplane travel at high altitudes repeatedly without falling, regardless of the politics involved? Does gravity act on an object regardless of the political affiliation of the person dropping the object?

People don’t “trust the science” of the alleged vaccine because it is politicised. In July 2020, 15 per cent of Americans said that an endorsement of the injection by US President Donald Trump would encourage them to take it. However, more than 30 per cent said that Trump’s endorsement would put them off.

In September 2020, US presidential candidate Joe Biden undermined public confidence by implying that Trump’s Operation Warp Speed had rushed the development of the jab in order to score political points. Even mask-wearing was politicised. At the start of the pandemic in March 2020, Dr Anthony Fauci, Chief Medical Advisor to Presidents Trump and Biden, and head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, told 60 Minutes, “There’s no reason to be walking around with a mask. When you’re in the middle of an outbreak,” he continued, “wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better and it might even block a droplet, but it’s not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is.” Three months later, after mask-wearing policies had been changed, Fauci told TheStreet that his flip-flop occurred because “it was at a time when personal protective equipment, including the N95 masks and the surgical masks, were in very short supply.” Fauci claimed he wanted to ensure health care workers received masks as a priority.

The same thing occurred during the US Democratic caucuses at the start of the pandemic. The advice of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) was to stay home. Democrat-majority cities and states, including San Francisco and New York, didn’t wait for lockdown mandates. Yet, as the Democratic National Committee (which runs the Party) attacked Trump for minimising the seriousness of the virus, they also told their voters, poll workers, and volunteers to go to booths and elect left representatives; i.e., ignore the CDC advice and stand maskless close to elderly and ethnic minority voters and volunteers (i.e., the most vulnerable). Biden tweeted on 15 March: “If you are feeling healthy, not showing symptoms, and not at risk of being exposed to COVID-19: please vote.”

Another reason people don’t “trust the science” is that media are blatantly partisan. For instance, in March 2020, Twitter Safety announced that it would censor misinformation concerning the pandemic. But the “misinformation” they censored tended to come from the political right. For instance, Biden’s lowering of public confidence in the jab and his violation of CDC guidelines by insisting people vote were not removed by Twitter: the company that, under pressure from the FBI, later deleted President Trump’s account.

    VACCINE NATIONALISM

Either a “vaccine” works or it doesn’t. Science doesn’t care if the vaccine is American, British, Chinese, or Russian. Yet, the COVID-19 jabs have been demonised and discredited or promoted and canonised, according to their country of origin. The British Army’s psychological warfare unit, the 77th Brigade, has been targeting injection sceptics as possible enemies of the state linked to Russia. To pre-empt Russia’s success in producing the first COVID-19 jab, Western intelligence agencies claimed that Putin stole research from Western pharmaceutical companies. But if public health was the priority, not nationalistic point-scoring, wouldn’t the West happily share information with the East?

Nations rushed their purported vaccines to win the global battle of ideas and enjoy international prestige. Russia happened to get their first with Gamaleya’s Sputnik-V. The American journal Nature quoted vaccinologists as denouncing the Russian jab as “reckless.” The same criticism was applied neither to American companies nor to the UK and Sweden, which quickly rolled out their joint AstraZeneca jab under the same reckless circumstances. AstraZeneca used trial “volunteers” in poor countries like Brazil, one of whom died. Britain outsourced some of its vaccine production to its former colony, India’s Serum Institute. In November 2020, alleged links between the Institute and jab-induced neurological damage were reported. The Indian-produced version of the jab did not receive approval from the European Union’s Medicines Agency, meaning that the estimated five million Brits injected with the India-produced version of the AstraZeneca jab had to abide by EU quarantine rules when holidaying. Again, either a “vaccine” works or it doesn’t.

Intelligence agencies are concerned about industrial espionage and invoke vague and legally undefined notions of “national interest” to use surveillance to maintain national prestige. Just as the moon landing in the 1960s was America’s way of getting one up on the USSR in the court of global technological public opinion, the race to beat COVID with injections was largely influenced by prestige propaganda.

In April 2021, European Union member states exploded the 77th Brigade’s efforts to promote the “British jab” on behalf of AstraZeneca. The leading EU nations – Germany, France, Italy, and others – cited health concerns, particularly blood clots, as the reason for banning AstraZeneca’s (AZ) jab. Despite the jab being co-produced by a Swedish (i.e., EU) company, it is likely that the real reason for the ban was to punish the UK for its recent Brexit (leaving the Union). It is also possible that because BioNTech is a German company and Germany is the leading economy in the EU, the member states wanted to privilege the US-German Pfizer/BioNTech jab. We also don’t know what kind of lobbying against AZ occurred behind the scenes by rival companies like Pfizer. In addition, while the US approved AZ’s antibody products, it did not authorise the AZ jab.

This did not boost the confidence of “vaccine” sceptics. Either the AZ jab is safe or it is not. How come the AZ injection is safe for British people but not for Europeans or Americans?

WHAT DOES “SAFE AND EFFECTIVE” MEAN?

US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) evolving definition of “vaccination” in the space of a few years. These changing definitions on the CDC website were tracked by accessing the ‘Wayback Machine’, a digital archive of websites (Source: twitter.com/repthomasmassie/status/1435606845926871041)

Vaccines take a decade to design, produce, test, and distribute for a reason. Humans are complicated beings who live in even more complicated societies, and much can go wrong. In a vaccine trial, some questions include the dose-to-antibody stimulation ratio according to age, comorbidities, and pregnancy. If a small dose of vaccine stimulates a large antibody response, this is one measure of efficacy. If the ratio of death and injury is considered by health authorities to be “acceptable,” another measure of efficacy can be added, such as: how much viral load is present in the vaccinated when contracting the given virus (“breakthrough cases”) compared to antibody numbers? This also relates to transmissibility among the vaccinated. If safety, dose-to-antibody ratios, breakthrough cases, and low transmissibility can be determined in large groups (typically tens of millions of people by the end of the trials), then the given vaccine can be said to be safe and efficacious: at least by pre-COVID vaccine standards. In addition to all of the above, these measurements must also be specific to the given virus strain.

These measures went out the window with the COVID jabs. Both peer-reviewed journals and mainstream media boasted that the biggest vaccine candidates – Pfizer, AZ, Gamaleya, etc. – were safe and effective. Even though the EU and US banned AZ over blood clots, the academic literature continued to vouch for the product’s safety. So: is the AZ product safe and merely a victim of vaccine nationalism and perhaps secret lobbying, or is it dangerous by pre-COVID vaccine standards?

The Lancet published an extraordinary paper on vaccine efficacy, which the mainstream media tried to discredit with their self-appointed “fact-checkers.” The study pointed out that when absolute risk reduction measures are added to the data of the major vaccine candidates, “efficacy” drops from the 70-90 percentiles claimed by other peer-reviewers down to literally point one or just above one per cent, depending on the “vaccine.”

Another factor in not trusting the “science” is that politicians were initially eager to promote vaccines as a way of ending the pandemic and “getting on with our lives.” But once it became clear that the alleged vaccines would not actually beat the virus (as vaccines are supposed to do), the “science” changed. Fauci not only lied about masks, he also kept changing his mind on herd immunity. Fauci initially said that vaccination rates among the population need to be 70 per cent for herd immunity to be achieved. A few months later, when it became clear that the injections were neither safe nor effective, Fauci said that 90 per cent injection would be required to achieve herd immunity. The “science” of who or what constitutes “vaccinated” also changed. Because politicians and health officials like Fauci were not clear from the outset that the public would likely need to be put on a vaccine schedule (i.e., to have more than one dose), people wrongly assumed that a single shot would suffice. It was then reported that a course would be required.

After some controversy over the necessary length of time between the two injections, the definition of “fully vaccinated” became someone who has had three doses: even though brands can be mixed and matched without large-scale clinical trials on the efficacy of heterologous COVID vaccination. For example, while the propaganda machine continues to claim that the Pfizer jab is “90 per cent effective” (again, what does that even mean?), the credible pre-print literature now concedes that the Johnson and Johnson jab, for example, is three per cent (more consistent with findings in The Lancet’s study noted above). How could one be fully vaccinated with two Pfizers and a near-zero efficacy J&J? All of this explains why we’ve gone from “get jabbed and get your life back” to “vaccines lessen severe symptoms but do not prevent symptoms or viral spread.”

From this, we can conclude that they are not real vaccines, as understood by the previously used definition. Another reason that people don’t “trust the science” is because most people have contracted or will contract COVID. As most cases are either asymptomatic or mild and confer better immunity than the injections, the question remains for most people: why risk the jab?

However, whatever they are, the jabs do seem to play an important role in reducing the risk of severe illness that requires ICU treatment. Patients must therefore make informed choices with a personal risk-reward analysis. Non-injection measures, such as vitamin D increase and monoclonal antibodies, might, depending on the patient, have the same or better results as the jabs. We can’t know because Big Pharma and government has favoured the blunt instrument of injection over the gentler measures of vitamins and therapeutics.

    Is this Science?

Lies and nonsense continue, both in mainstream media and in the academic literature. For instance, the numbers presented in a recent peer-reviewed paper show a clear (though small) increase in early-pregnancy miscarriages in “vaccinated” women. But the paper’s words conclude that there is no such increase. Likewise, mainstream media lie about the risks of COVID to children. In October 2021, the New York Times retracted its claim that 900,000 American children had been hospitalised with COVID, when the real number was (still an awfully high) 63,000. Many media are sponsored by Pfizer. CNN even went as far as awarding Pfizer’s boss, Albert Bourla, its CEO of the Year 2021 award.

Pfizer’s media-buying power is such that in November 2021, NBC’s senior medical correspondent, Dr John Torres, had a Freudian slip. He said: “Last week, 118,000 children ended up with Pfizer…” Err, did he mean COVID? Torres either lied or got the numbers preposterously wrong. He went on to claim that “unfortunately, there have been 146,000 deaths, which according to the American Academy of Pediatrics, puts COVID now in the top-ten causes of death for children” in the US. People also don’t “trust the science” because the Twitter police did not remove NBC’s misinformation – that’s because NBC is part of the Democrat-supporting mainstream media. In reality, by January this year, over 120,000 children worldwide had died of/with COVID (or “Pfizer,” as Torres said). In the US, the number by December 2021 was 1,000: still appallingly high but nowhere near the 146,000 figure claimed by Torres.

It is rare but not unheard of that people need to follow a month or two-month-long vaccine schedule with two or even three injections, such as the hepatitis B vaccine. But four doses? At the point where the “vaccine” is most efficacious (again, meaning what?) Israel health officials privately warn that the body risks “immune system fatigue,” where the immune system has been so shot with attenuated virus, spike protein and/or mRNA, that it is worn out. Is this science or one big, pre-scientific, profit-driven experiment using a desperate and frightened public, coerced with mandates, as lab animals?

  • Lest We Forget… They Want You to Forget Lockdowns, Vaccine Coercion & Covid Hysteria!

Lest We Forget… They Want You to Forget Lockdowns, Vaccine Coercion & Covid Hysteria!

    From New Dawn 194 (Sept-Oct 2022)

It’s hard to know where to start. So much has been done. So many have suffered. Not because of a virus but due to hasty, reckless, and irrational decisions made by elected leaders and their bevy of experts.

For much of 2022, the world received some respite from the madness we came to know as the “New Normal.”

This nightmare started in January 2020 as the world watched inexplicable scenes of fear and panic coming out of Wuhan, China – the supposed epicentre of what would soon be known as the “global pandemic.”

The Chinese response was swift as they unleashed ruthless quarantine measures and ordered residents to stay home and not leave until the government said otherwise. The population was effectively placed under house arrest, suspected of carrying or transmitting a microscopic viral particle. Henceforth, this practice would be known as lockdown – a term describing the confining of prisoners to their cells.

This tool of social control was copied by hysterical public officials in Italy and then Spain, and before long, most countries instituted versions of Chinese-style lockdowns. Anything to “stop the spread.” Some countries went further and closed their borders for fear someone might inadvertently bring in the viral particle and trigger a new “wave.” As crazy as that might sound, it was the received orthodoxy at that time.

Of course, none of this corresponded with scientific evidence and certainly not common sense. It was hysterical groupthink on steroids. A fit of collective madness, decorated with virtue-signalling motifs.

Locking the population in their homes. Paying businesses to stay shut and paying employees to stay home and work online or not work at all.

Hospitals not treating patients. Employers firing anyone who wouldn’t submit to the corporate needlecraft.

Suddenly ‘public health’ became the new raison d’etre. Overnight, previously bland public officials transformed into flamboyant dictators, intoxicated by newfound powers and backed up by confidence trick game masters like Anthony Fauci and Bill Gates, all of whom seemed to revel in their newfound spotlight.

In the haze of fear-induced ‘mass formation’ psychosis, the population was mesmerised by daily hours-long press conference updates on the pandemic’s progress, starring government health bureaucrats and their politician overlords, entranced by the power on offer.

While doing endless victory laps, politicians have been reticent to admit the catastrophic effect on national economies and the broader global economy. In the United States, the government took the liberty of printing over 4.5 trillion dollars out of thin air to pay for this epic folly. At the time, they assured the populace it was necessary – doled out in direct lumpsum ‘stimulus’ payments to nearly every citizen, along with billion-dollar blank cheques for schools to pay for a failed ‘online education’ experiment. In addition, untold billions were wasted on Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and a conveyor belt of masks, gowns, rubber gloves, and reams of infantile COVID signage. Also, hundreds of billions for completely useless ‘contact tracing’ systems doubling as human tracking apps.

And we can’t forget two of the main profit centres in this global heist: the myriad of non-diagnostic COVID tests and, of course, the so-called vaccines. Most of these expenditures are still running today.

Whatever country you’re in, chances are your government attempted to implement these same policies and got the same damage to the national economy and the state of freedom.

It is almost impossible to calculate the actual economic and societal toll of the COVID response. One peer-reviewed study1 in the Journal of American Medicine estimated the cumulative financial costs of the pandemic at more than $16 trillion, approximately 90% of the annual gross domestic product of the US. Consequently, the wealth and inequality gap increased by orders of magnitude in the last 18 months. The ten richest men in the world doubled their fortunes during the government COVID splurge while the incomes of 99 per cent of humanity fell.

They said it was all for a noble cause – embodied in great Schwabian mantras born from the loins of Davos: The New Normal, Build Back Better, and The Great Reset.

In hindsight, this may have been the biggest psychological operation (psyops) ever – designed to re-engineer society and the human race to advance a series of planned future outcomes.

Literally everything was cancelled. Even democracy. Freedom of assembly suddenly became a luxury we could ill afford in the face of such an awe-inspiring viral particle.

But while their plans were cunning and comprehensive in scale and scope, the globalist establishment did not calculate how their draconian global coup d’etat wouldbring together dissidents from all strata of society, political persuasions, and religions – every walk of life. And their numbers are growing by the day, a bittersweet for the elite class because it’s in direct proportion to the constantly climbing number of injuries and untimely deaths associated with the experimental injections.

    Low Ebb for Humanity

Perhaps the lowest ebb for humanity in this saga has been the vilification and persecution of the unvaccinated over the past two years.

Early on, it became apparent that so-called ‘freedom-loving’ Western governments were emulating China’s authoritarian Zero-COVID societal shutdown. Countries like Italy, Israel, Spain, Canada, and New Zealand went all-out to flex their totalitarian bona fides. But the standard bearer was Australia, a nation transformed into a Zero-COVID nightmare. Autocrat State premiers and chief ministers formed the equivalent of COVID Stasi enforcement divisions, even usingthe military to police strict lockdowns and coerce the entire population into taking experimental injections. Melbourne, the capital of the state of Victoria and Australia’s second-largest city, endured six lockdowns to become the most locked-down city in the world. People defying lockdowns or daring to walk in public without a mask – in parks or on the beach – were hunted down by the police, to be fined or worse.

Technocrats barely batted an eyelid after summarily destroying the livelihoods of thousands of people, especially small businesses, and ruining real public health on a scale never seen in modern times.

In the UK, Boris Johnson’s government deployed the most cynical con imaginable, invoking a faux Blitz spirit by imploring a hapless public to go outside and bang pots and pans together at sundown because they needed to “stay home” to “save” the National Health Service (NHS). During the so-called pandemic, the NHS stopped running as a national health service and became a ‘COVID only’ service – and then a ‘vaccine only’ service. With record waiting lists, and millions discouraged from seeking basic care, the NHS rapidly resembles a zombie institution in line to be absorbed by some international consortium.

Many people were gaslit by public health mavens and media charlatans to believe that if they did not comply with the bevy of ineffective and baseless pandemic mitigation measures – they were putting people’s lives at risk. The level of fearmongering and hysteria reached a point where some fanatics in government and media went so far as to label noncompliant sceptics and anti-vaxxers as “killers.”

Cognitive scientist Dr Mark Changizi put it succinctly: “If your position implies that healthy people breathing in the same room are doing you violence, you have lost. Thanks for playing.”2

For those who believe in the virology orthodoxy, the ageing octogenarian US President Joe Biden is an interesting ‘case’. In late July and early August, Joe supposedly was infected by COVID twice in quick succession – catching it again three days after being cleared – which essentially is a case study on the futility of mass masking, contact tracing, social distancing, and vaccination. The President boasted he was double jabbed and double boosted, with a total of four injections, but he still got COVID, twice in a row.

It needs to be remembered and restated that millions of people were coerced into taking the jab on the insinuation it would protect them from COVID and make us “safe” again. That was the mantra constantly pushed by authorities, including Biden, who shamed the ‘vaccine hesitant’ by falsely stating at a July 2021 meeting, “You’re not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations,” and “If you’re vaccinated, you’re not going to be hospitalised, you’re not going to be in the ICU unit, and you’re not going to die.”

    Credit: Bob Moran www.bobmoran.co.uk

It is vitally important we don’t forget what government apparatchiks put us all through these past two and half years. The fact of the matter is that pandemic measures did little to “stop the spread” and had no positive impact on public health. The crisis merchants will claim that every extreme measure somehow saved lives. There are enough corrupt people in politics and media with a vested interest in this to ensure no one will be allowed to refute it publicly.

Their fanciful claims can be debunked if we look at the control countries in this global experiment like Sweden, which initially opted out of the lockdowns and showed no noticeable difference in mortality or even ‘cases’.

The only tangible benefit was for those who conveniently cashed in on the crisis.

Despite the hysteria and propaganda, you can point to the fact there was no significant rise in all-cause mortality in 2020. However, many lockdown deaths – drug overdoses, alcohol abuse, and suicide – increased in 2020. In 2021, we saw a significant increase in all-cause mortality, in excess of 20 per cent.3 Bear in mind the mass vaccination roll-out started in December 2020.

    The Drugs Don’t Work

Never before in human history has a rapacious industry and its government functionaries threatened the public on a scale such as this. Their efforts have been aided by a corrupt government-media complex and vaccine NGO complex spearheaded by oligarch Bill Gates, along with billionaire gatekeepers Mark Zuckerberg, Jack Dorsey, and other Big Tech lords who coordinated censorship campaigns across social media to block scepticism and criticism of the vaccine roll-out. Many were de-platformed and silenced, and that continues even today. Doctors who dared question the official science were threatened with deregistration.

With each passing week, new studies and reports emerge about the safety and effectiveness of COVID jabs. Soon it might become impossible for mainstream media to continue to ignore the numerous vaccine injury cases. For example, the British Medical Journal has highlighted how Pfizer’s own data revealed an excess of mRNA vaccine harms, specifically myocarditis and pericarditis, for those aged 12-25 years.4 Why people in this age group were targeted with the experimental jab is somewhat mysterious and concerning, considering this age group has little to no risk of dying from the virus.

It was back in December 2020 when the US Federal Drug Administration (FDA) emergency authorised the Moderna and Pfizer mRNA COVID-19 jabs, claiming “the benefits outweighed the harms.” That claim is now under attack by medicos brave enough to emerge from the climate of fear and censorship.

A group of international researchers re-analysed the original trial data upon which that claim was made to conclude that the “vaccines” are associated with an “increased risk of serious adverse events” that surpass the “risk reduction for COVID-19 hospitalisation” relative to the placebo group.5

According to former medical scientist and Australian investigative journalist Maryanne Demasi, PhD:

“The Fraiman analysis has revealed that the FDA and the CDC underplayed the harms of the mRNA vaccines in Dec 2020. By authorising and recommending a population-wide vaccination campaign, authorities neglected to focus on protecting the elderly, and exposed many younger people to unnecessary harm. As the pandemic progresses, and new variants emerge, the benefits of the mRNA vaccines will continue to diminish, while the harms are likely to compound.”

We need to recall the string of drug failures by the pharmaceutical industry and the corrupt, bought-and-paid-for US FDA. Over the decades, the shareholders of these pharmaceutical firms netted untold billions.

Daniel Berger is an attorney who won millions in settlements for investors and consumers hurt by the likes of Exxon and R.J. Reynolds Tobacco. Their exploitation pales compared to what America’s prescription drug manufacturers have done to promote mass addiction of legal chemical substances.

“I used to think that there was nothing more reprehensible than what the tobacco industry did in suppressing what it knew about the adverse effects of an addictive and dangerous product,” said Berger. “But I was wrong. The drug makers are worse than Big Tobacco.”6

    The War on Fertility

Perhaps the most shocking episode in this global debacle is the wanton state and corporate recklessness of the ‘vaccine’ roll-out. When industry whistleblowers and journalists began asking questions about the possible effects of the experimental mRNA injections on human fertility, they were either ignored or immediately met with derision and condemnation.

The first COVID shots rolled out in late 2020, and it did not take long before qualified doctors, scientists and pharmaceutical professionals began warning the public of possible reproductive effects. On 1 December 2020, Pfizer’s former head of respiratory research, Dr Michael Yeadon, and the lung specialist and former head of Germany’s public health department, Dr Wolfgang Wodarg, petitioned the European Medicine Agency – which is responsible for EU-wide drug approval – calling for the immediate suspension of all SARS-CoV-2 vaccine trials, in particular the BioNTech/Pfizer study.7

The most alarming part of their complaint was the potential effects on pregnant women. They explained that while the vaccines are meant to produce antibodies against spike proteins of SARS-CoV-2, these same spike proteins also contain syncytin-homologous proteins, an essential building block in the formation of the human placenta. They implored that “it must be absolutely ruled out that a vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 could trigger an immune reaction against syncytin-1, as otherwise infertility of indefinite duration could result in vaccinated women.”

According to a recent analysis by Dr Joseph Mercola, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) was alerted to the high potential for adverse effects on fertility by Janci Chunn Lindsay, PhD, director of toxicology and molecular biology for Toxicology Support Services LLC, which submitted a public comment back in April 2021. Disturbingly, what Dr Lindsey had predicted seems to be happening. She provided credible evidence suggesting that the COVID mRNA gene therapy jab may cross-react with syncytin and reproductive genes in sperm, ova and placenta in ways that impair reproductive outcomes. Considering the large percentage of the population coerced into taking the experimental shots, the ramifications are beyond comprehension. “We could potentially be sterilising an entire generation,” warned Dr Lindsey.8

Other reported risks included significant menstrual irregularities, vaginal haemorrhaging, and miscarriage for women who received the injections. According to vaccine injury databases like America’s VAERS system, the EU’s EudraVigilance and the UK’s Yellow Card system, such conditions were already numbering in the thousands at the time of her report – a safety signal which should not have been ignored. Only it was, and still is.

Even those who previously offered unconditional support for the jabs must be concerned about some new studies emerging in recent months. For example, a recent study by Washington University found that COVID-19 vaccines affected an astonishing 42 per cent of women’s menstrual cycles. Of course, the women who reported these impacts after being jabbed were roundly condemned as delusional or pushing an anti-vaccine agenda.

In a surreal state of affairs, at the same time both Australia and Canada had granted “emergency use authorisation” (EUA) of the Moderna COVID jab on young children aged six months to five years of age, the German Federal Ministry of Health tweeted that 1 in 5,000 people had suffered serious adverse reactions following COVID injections.

    Eugenics: An Elite Love Affair

Since the mid-20th century, elite interests have been hard at work funding and developing “anti-fertility vaccines” designed to be implemented on a mass scale. This is not the stuff of conspiracy theories – one only has to read a 1968 Rockefeller Foundation report in which foundation-funded scientists and public health experts boasted about the cacophony of possibilities:

“…several types of drugs are known to diminish male fertility, but those that have been tested have serious problems of toxicity. Very little work is in progress on immunological methods, such as vaccines, to reduce fertility, and much more research is required if a solution is to be found here.”9

According to the Rockefeller Foundation, the possibility of using vaccines to reduce male fertility was something that “needed to be investigated further” because oral birth control pills and intrauterine devices (IUD) would not yield the desired outcome due to problems with mass-scale distribution:

“We are faced with the danger that within a few years these two ‘modern’ methods, for which such high hopes have been held, will in fact turn out to be impracticable on a mass scale.”

They sought to encourage institutions “by making research funds available, as well as by other means, established and beginning investigators to turn their attention to aspects of research in reproductive biology that have implications for human fertility and its control…. Encouraging more biology and biochemistry students to elect careers in reproductive biology and human fertility control, through support of research and teaching programs in departments of zoology, biology, and biochemistry.”

Why the obsession with population control, you might ask? The answer: eugenics. Like many ruling elites, the Rockefeller dynasty regarded themselves as stewards of the planet and took it upon themselves to bear the burden of regulating the planet’s resources and its population.

“There are an estimated five million women among America’s poverty and near-poverty groups who need birth control service… The unchecked fertility of the indigent does much to perpetuate poverty, undereducation, and underemployment, not only in urban slums, but also in depressed rural areas.”

The eugenics theme is explicit throughout the globalist pedigree. Bear in mind these are the very same institutions that funded the development and distribution of vaccine ‘health solutions’ throughout the world over the last 60 years. Other examples and incidents in recent history prove this is a central objective of the elites’ social engineering in the 20th century. So who’s to say the eugenics baton hasn’t been passed to a fresh pair of legs?

In the 21st century, elite stewardship on such matters seems to have been handed down to people like billionaire philanthropist and Microsoft founder Bill Gates, a tireless advocate and financier for global vaccine roll-out. At the beginning of the so-called ‘global pandemic’, Gates did the rounds on every imaginable media outlet, calling for eight billion people, the entire global population, to be injected with the new experimental COVID ‘vaccine’.

It should be noted that the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has deep ties with the Rockefeller group,10 including the funding of vaccinations and programs that can be construed as ‘anti-fertility’. Bill Gates and David Rockefeller were the leading members of a billionaire’s club that met secretly to discuss how to strengthen measures for population control, particularly in the developing world, through the guise of “philanthropy.” Other notable members include Ted Turner, George Soros, Warren Buffett, Oprah Winfrey, and Michael Bloomberg.11

    Bye Bye Build Back Better

All the above was done in the name of keeping us safe.

The great Ben Franklin once remarked, “Those who would give up essential Liberty to purchase a little temporary Safety deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”

Now that their pandemic complex is complete, invoking another pandemic will be much easier.

No government has ever relinquished power without the threat of force, and no citizenry has ever received a bill of rights without having to fight for it first.

In the end, this generation will come to grips with a certain truism that our forefathers knew all too well: the battle for liberty is a fight spanning generations, a multi-generational fight, and it is incumbent on all of us to do our absolute best, and then pass on the baton of liberty to our progeny, and theirs too.

Above all, do not let them do it again.

  • Mass Formation Psychosis: From Covid to Ukraine

Mass Formation Psychosis: From Covid to Ukraine

    From New Dawn 192 (May-June 2022)

There are two ways to be fooled:
one is to believe what isn’t true,
the other is to refuse to believe what is true.
    – Soren Kierkegaard

There is a Latin proverb, “Repetitio est mater studiorum.” It means, “Repetition is the mother of learning.” The more we are exposed to something, the more likely we are to accept or learn it.

Repetition is also the mother of propaganda, mind control, cult programming, groupthink, and mass formation psychosis, all of which create a hypnotic state, of people unable to discern truth, use common sense, think for themselves, or see beyond a narrow band of perception-based reality even when presented with verifiable facts.

When people are exposed to a message over and over again from authority figures or celebrities they admire, even if it has no basis in reality, many will come to believe it without question.

Over the last two years, we have seen an unprecedented number of otherwise intelligent people fall prey to a zombie-like state of compliance and submission to authority that they can’t snap out of, or don’t seem to want to, as if under hypnosis and awaiting the hypnotist to snap his or her fingers and wake them up.

The problem is the hypnotist, in this case, doesn’t want the people to wake up.

    What is Mass Formation Psychosis?

Mattias Desmet, author of The Psychology of Totalitarianism and professor of clinical psychology in the Department of Psychology and Educational Sciences at Ghent University in Belgium, calls this bizarre hypnotic state “mass formation psychosis.” He is considered the world’s leading expert on the subject.

    Mattias Desmet

His theory has caught on like wildfire to explain the insanity and irrational behaviour of millions of people worldwide regarding the COVID pandemic – and now the Ukraine crisis. Desmet, whose work was recently attacked by mainstream media “fact-checkers” and scrubbed by Google after it was exposed to millions of listeners of the December 2021 Joe Rogan Show (show #1757), likens this to “a madness of crowds” that subsumes a large segment of the population into psychosis.

In an analysis of Desmet’s theory, “Understanding the Psychology Behind the Covid Pandemic” by Dr Joseph Mercola for Mercola.com, mass formation psychosis explains how the German people came to accept the atrocities of the Nazi party in the 1930s and how so many people around the world came to support medical apartheid and hatred for the unvaccinated over the last two years, even calling for them to be rounded up in camps and forcibly injected.

This same brand of psychosis is evident in the jump-on-the-bandwagon obsession with support for Ukraine in a global crisis that has been painted repeatedly by the US and their allies as having only one truth. Ukraine good. Russia bad. Support Ukraine. Destroy Russia. Hatred of the filthy unmasked and unvaxxed is now directed at anyone who asks if the media’s version of the Ukraine crisis is fact-based or who questions the narratives pushed by powerful forces shaping world events, such as the World Economic Forum, which proudly proclaimed the COVID pandemic as phase one of their Great Reset.

    Guess what phase two is?

War and the economic destruction so they can “reset” and “build back better.”

There are four basic conditions for mass formation psychosis:

    1) Lack of social bonding. Lockdowns during the COVID pandemic ensured that people couldn’t get together and compare notes about what was happening. The media hammered the public with messages of guilt, fear, and shame that turned friend against friend, family member against family member.

    2) Losing meaning and purpose in life and constant exposure to circumstances that do not make sense. Think of this as non-stop gaslighting and the confusion it can cause, making people feel they are, as Dr Mercola wrote, “sleepwalking through life.”

    3) Widespread free-floating anxiety and discontent. Make people anxious and miserable, but keep them off balance as to why, and they become jelly in your hands.

    4) Widespread free-floating frustration and aggression. Without a discernible cause, the powers-that-be will happily tell you the source of your frustration and where to direct your aggression, whether it be the unvaxxed or Russia, Russia, Russia.

Over time, these conditions destabilise people, leading to their acceptance of government-as-saviour and, eventually, totalitarianism. Single-minded obsession, whether COVID, vaccines, or the Russia conflict, keeps people distracted and fighting with each other. Meanwhile, those in power take more power.

According to the US Department of Defense (DoD), psychological operations, or psyops, use propaganda and psychological tactics to influence emotions and behaviours. The root of any psyop mission is behavioural change. One technique is “nudging,” described by the DoD as “any attempt at influencing people’s judgement, choice, or behaviour in a predictable way that is motivated because of cognitive boundaries, biases, routines, and habits in individual and social decision-making interests, and which works by making use of those boundaries, biases, routines, and habits as integral parts of such attempts.”

Mass formation psychosis is the result of one giant, global psyop.

    Plot Pivot

Between January and March of 2022, the mainstream media narrative abruptly pivoted from “COVID will kill us all, get your vaccine” to “Stand with Ukraine or Russia will nuke us all.”

It was like COVID vanished overnight and we woke up to war drums beating over the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Soon, every media outlet was prophesying the coming of World War III and the evils of Russian President Vladimir Putin attacking the “weaker, smaller” neighbouring Ukraine.

From the US President Joe Biden and heads of NATO nations, it was an all-out assault on a public still reeling from COVID, and the narrative was clear from the start – Ukraine good, Russia bad. Fear of a virus changed hands to fear of a world war, like a relay racer handing off the baton.

On social media outlets, profile pictures of people wearing masks or proudly proclaiming their vaccination status immediately switched to blue and yellow Ukrainian flags and #IStandWithUkraine. The same hostility those people had toward anyone who refused masks or the experimental gene therapy injections was now levelled at anyone who questioned the Ukraine/Russia war narrative. Censors targeted in-depth historical analysis of the situation lest anyone learn about the dynamics in the region that dated back decades and longer.

The new object of global hatred was to be Vladimir Putin, and media portraying Putin as positive or even neutral was being scrubbed from the Internet along with negative coverage of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The cult of COVID was now the cult of Ukraine, and its members began calling for the end to anything Russian, from actors to athletes to products.

Twitter exploded with calls for those who didn’t stand behind Ukraine’s president and military (as opposed to standing with the Ukrainian people) to be banned or censored. In some countries, Meta, the new name for Facebook, permitted users to post calls for violence against Russian officials and citizens, as warmongering replaced virus fearmongering.

Meanwhile, the US Congress gave Zelenskyy a standing ovation after he pled for billions of American dollars and weapons in aid. [On 1 April, he also received a standing ovation after his address to Australia’s federal parliament, with the government pledging over $100 million in military aid.]. Actor Sean Penn demanded that Zelenskyy, a former actor and comic, speak at the Oscars (it didn’t happen), just as evidence emerged the US government had been financing bio-labs across Ukraine. Timing is everything.

Memes and cartoons of superheroes bowing down to Zelenskyy appeared on social media, including one of him wearing a Superman shirt and cape. The worship took on absurd new heights with people making Tik-Tok videos of love songs for Zelenskyy and selling T-shirts and coffee mugs with his face on them. Zelenskyy was the hero fighting for democracy, and you dare not bring up his rather non-democratic banning of political opposition parties or the evidence that his security services staged ‘Russian war crimes’.

The long history of Ukraine’s corruption in collusion with American politicians or the fact that many of them, including President Biden, had children who sat on the boards of Ukrainian corporations and oil companies, was called pure conspiracy. If you dare mention the Pandora Papers, millions of pages of leaked documents that reveal hidden wealth, tax avoidance, and money laundering by the world’s elite – including 38 Ukrainian politicians, the most out of any country – you are cast out into the wilderness.

This is not to say that Putin is the “good guy” in this conflict. One astute Twitter poster suggested it was like a battle between a devil and a demon, but the devil was being portrayed in Western legacy media as a hero because the West benefitted from the devil and not the demon. Gone was the idea that there are two sides to every story.

In an interview with Peak Prosperity, Desmet said that solidarity is crucial in mass formation. “That’s the real reason why people buy into the story, even if it is utterly absurd. It’s not because they believe in the narrative. It is because the narrative leads to a new social bond… It is a form of mental intoxication that makes people willing to do things that are clearly wrong and utterly immoral up to and including voluntarily killing their own families and themselves, if told it’s for the greater good.”

As COVID paranoia was receding into the background, the powers-that-be needed a new fear for the people. The Ukraine-Russia conflict is a great excuse to manufacture justification for implementing the Great Reset, the totalitarian wet dream of the World Economic Forum.

In fiction, this is called a “plot pivot” or plot change. A new viral pandemic had suddenly swept across the global stage – only this one infected minds, not bodies.

Mind viruses are a masterful psyop tool because if you infect enough members of the public, they spread your version of the truth for you.

In Thought Contagion: How Belief Spreads Through Society, author and former Fermilab physicist Aaron Lynch discusses the theoretical and mathematical models of how ideas are transmitted throughout a culture or society. For Lynch, an idea is something encoded in human neurons or other media but takes on a life of its own as it evolves and spreads, often creating a whole new belief set.

Memes also count as mind viruses and, according to Richard Brodie in Virus of the Mind: The New Science of the Meme, they spread “by influencing people’s minds, and thus their behaviour, so that eventually someone gets infected with the meme. If a meme is in your mind, it can greatly or subtly influence your behaviour.”

The mass media engages in this kind of diffusion, and when an idea or belief reaches a tipping point, infecting a large enough group of people, society accepts and promotes it as reality.

    The Global Cult

Mass formation psychosis is like a global cult – insidious, pervasive, sick, and dangerous. These are the cult conditions as we move from the cult of COVID to the cult of war:

    • Opposition to critical thinking (only the official narrative gets media time).
    • Isolate members and penalise them for leaving (block, censor, ban, deplatform).
    • Emphasise special doctrine (trust the science!).
    • Declare loyalty to leaders (don’t question Bill Gates or the WEF’s Klaus Schwab and cheer for Zelenskyy).
    • Dishonour the family unit (gender division, war on the family, hatred of traditional values).
    • Cross boundaries of behaviour, i.e., personal ownership (the powers-that-be shut down your small business but kept big businesses open).
    • Separate from the Church/God (God is dead, we are your new Gods now).

Although cults operate in isolation, mass formation psychosis plays heavily on group dynamics. As a member, an individual often gives up their core identity to become a part of the group and goes with the direction of the group, even against their own values and integrity.

It is especially frightening because of the capacity for violence those caught up in it have for the “others” they have been repeatedly told to hate or see as the enemy. Twitter abounds with calls by social justice warriors for the death of Putin or all Russians (can we all just stand compassionately with the people of Ukraine and Russia who are caught up in this chaos?). These same people attack those who refuse to wear masks or vaccinate as if it’s acceptable to call for the deaths of people as long as you are on the right side of the chosen narrative.

In 1972, social psychologist Irving Janis, author of Victims of Groupthink, coined the term “groupthink” to identify what happens when a group makes decisions because of group pressures and expectations, often leading to a deterioration of “mental efficiency, reality testing, and moral judgment.” Groupthink ignores alternatives and often promotes irrational actions that dehumanise other groups. “A group is especially vulnerable to groupthink when its members are similar in background, when the group is insulated from outside opinions, and when there are no clear rules for decision making.”

    Power Tools for Mass Hypnosis

Guilt and shame are powerful tools used to bring down dissenters. Throw in fear of being punished by both the “cult leadership” and your own brainwashed friends and family, and the control is complete. This explains why we see so much virtue signalling. People want to belong to the group, so they make symbolic gestures stating their position, all meant to show the world they are obedient, compliant, and good.

In 1961, American psychiatrist and author Robert J. Lifton, who focused on the psychological implications of war and political violence, outlined in his book Thought Reform and the Psychology of Totalism the eight marks of a true “mind control cult” which are at play in today’s mass formation psychosis:

    • Milieu control – Milieu is French for “surroundings, environment.” Mass formation psychosis demands that the media show one narrative and censor anything that goes against it. This way, people never see what is really going on, only what the ruling elite wants them to think is going on.
    • Mystical manipulation – Mass formation psychosis plays upon our desire to look virtuous and be one of the good guys. Compliance becomes sacred. Dissent becomes sacrilegious.
    • Purity – Purity of body and mind, and avoidance of all things “evil,” such as those crazy conspiracy theorists who dare to ask about vaccine side effects or access to on-the-ground eyewitness reports from Ukraine. Ban them from family gatherings!
    • The Cult of Confession – “See something, say something” calls to snitch on those who did not mask or get vaccinated. Now, those same virtue signallers label friends and family who question the official Russian/Ukraine narrative as “domestic terrorists.”
    • Sacred science – The ideology of the cult is sacred and the one true moral vision for the ordering of human existence. Because it is sacred, it is not questioned. TRUST THE SCIENCE!
    • Loaded language – The prolific use of phrases designed to end a controversial discussion or terminate debate. You either accept it, or the discussion is over. Words are chosen to induce psychological force. “Wear your mask or you’ll kill your gramma and stop being so selfish!”
    • Doctrine over people – Doctrine rules over actual human experience. Common sense perceptions are altered to fit the doctrine, as in gaslighting.
    • Dispensing of existence – Think of the global elite’s plans to use both COVID and war as methods of depopulating the useless eaters and bottom feeders.

It doesn’t matter if the topic du jour is COVID, masks, vaccines, protests, Ukraine, food shortages, digital wallets, universal basic income, or a potential cyberattack that will no doubt be blamed on whoever the enemy of the month is (currently Russia but check back in a few months). What matters is that enough people are hypnotised and infected with a mind virus so powerful that it spreads until they believe up is down, evil is good, and war is peace.

    Waking From the Hypnotic State

Can you just say no to mass formation psychosis? It’s much harder than that. People often, but not always, wake up when they become aware of the damage something is doing to themselves, their families, and loved ones. They wake up when something happens that affects them directly, such as the mandate of outrageous new rules that shuts down their businesses. It often boils down to personal experience, such as the Twitter troll who calls others evil anti-vaxxers getting red-pilled when his or her own child suffers a vaccine injury.

Sadly, many people never wake up, or they do, but only after much damage has been done on the individual and collective levels.

Cult deprogrammers point to five essential debriefing steps which work for those under the spell of mass formation psychosis:

    • Discredit the leader and other authority figures.
    • Present contradicting ideologies and expose hypocrisies.
    • Look for a breaking point when the person seems to be emerging from their brainwashed reality.
    • Encourage self-expression and allow the person to open up and voice their anger, fear, and criticism of the cult/group.
    • Identification/Transference – when the person begins to identify with someone or something on the other side and shuns the cult/group leader.

Another way to break the psychosis is with humour. Funny memes or videos that ridicule the hypocrisy and inconsistency of the narrative grab attention more than a serious essay or barrage-of-facts. It’s about getting someone to re-engage in independent thinking so they can join those already awakened or who were never asleep to begin with, and put an end to the insanity.

Hopefully, enough people snap out of their stupor before the next plot pivot or narrative shift because once you see this in action, you cannot unsee it. No one can control an awakened mind.

Pete Evans Speaks Out… On being cancelled, On being proven right, On navigating the future storm

From New Dawn Special Issue Vol 16 No 6 (Dec 2022)

Two years ago, celebrity and former television chef Pete Evans was at the centre of a media storm over his public and vocal opposing viewpoints of establishment narratives. Pete would soon find his social media platforms removed, professional partnerships cancelled, and more.

Through it all, Pete continued to build his Evolve Network vision while keeping a keen eye on what was happening during this period.

Pete’s scepticism of pandemic measures in the early days of the COVID scare has been proven fully justified in the light of what we have seen unfold. Speaking out, Pete was attacked by mainstream media and ‘cancelled’. However, he is not expecting an apology, nor does he want one.

I recently caught up with Pete to discuss where he has been, his thoughts on this unprecedented time of history, where this is all heading, and most importantly, what the future holds for him.

ETHAN NASH (EN): Thank you for speaking with me today, Pete. I wanted to begin by picking up where we left off during our last discussion in New Dawn #182 (September-October 2020) to tie a bow on that period. At that time, you faced a media attack and became a victim of ‘thought police’ fact-checking teams on social media platforms. What are your thoughts on being targeted and cancelled?

    Pete Evans

PETE EVANS (PE): It was really interesting, to be honest with you. I had heard of cancel culture, and I knew some pretty heavy censorship was happening at the start of COVID, where shadow-banning was taking place on multiple platforms. I had already experienced some of these restrictions quite heavily, which was a small taste the last time we spoke.

What resulted from that saga was the complete removal of my Facebook and Instagram pages without any warning that I could see. I think we had over 1.7 million followers on Facebook. I don’t like to call people ‘followers’, but that’s the terminology they use. We had 300,000 on Instagram. Close to two million people tuning in to hear and see what I was sharing.

When I was permanently deleted, I thought ‘wow, that is a big move’. I also think it happened around the time I had put my hand up to run for a senate position in the upcoming election.

Looking back on it now and seeing what happened, I think that was the real reason I was perhaps de-platformed in such a way. When you look at the Australian landscape and how many people are on social media sites, you can quickly see that large amounts of people could tune in at any moment.

Approximately five to eight per cent of the population were tuned into our pages. When I looked at other news outlets or television platforms on their Facebook, we had more followersand I thought, ‘wow, this is very interesting…’

There was a quote from Scott Morrison at the time; a journalist had asked him a question. They asked, “what do you think about Pete Evans?” This is what I was told. His response was, “don’t give him any oxygen.” So he just cut the journalist off.

I guess my intention to run for a senate position with Rod Culleton of the Great Australia Party was the straw that broke the camel’s back, so to speak [laughs].

I’ve come to realise – it’s well documented in the United States, for instance – that the government has a direct line to social media companies where they can cancel people, shut them down, or remove them. Donald Trump is a perfect example of this on Twitter.

I felt like I was in good company after being cancelled by these platforms! [laughs].

Look, my wife and I have come to the realisation that with everything that happens in life, there is a bigger purpose, or it’s meant to be, and the feeling that we both had was – and I want to be careful with my words here – it allowed even greater freedom being away from those platforms.

Whereas most people may have gone ‘sh*t!’, ‘I’ve lost all marketing material for any business’. Because that’s sort of what social media is for many entrepreneurs – a place to market your business and promote whatever it is you’re selling.

What we were selling was information – and I put my hand on my heart because I truly believe this – information that could add years or decades to many people’s lives. So, I understand why that type of information is being suppressed so heavily.

When you look at the last few years and previous to that, you can perceive the agenda: dumb-down a population and make information about being healthy harder to come by. We saw that through the pandemic.

On YouTube, for instance, they were censoring alternative solutions that people were sharing about building and keeping a healthy robust immune system.

Whether that be a form of turmeric, Vitamin C, or Vitamin D. Doctors were also being cancelled for information they shared concerning general pharmaceutical products; Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine are two main examples. We can see why that happened.

So, when I was cancelled, we were okay with it. We didn’t go into a victimhood mentality.

We went straight into a mode of finding solutions, and looking back, I wouldn’t change anything.

EN: So, you don’t have any regrets about that period? I say this because the last time we spoke, we detailed your attempts to ‘play the game’, so to speak. Doing what could be perceived as ‘outrageous’ things in the spotlight to get media attention, thus spreading the message further. You subsequently became one of the first ‘martyrs’ of the corona period, per se. Given the power you did hold, is there nothing you would do differently? Would you still be as aggressive with the public tactics? Would you perhaps try to play the ‘safe game’ in any respect?

PE: No, definitely not. I had a chat with someone this week and they detailed how everybody that has stood up and shared their truth seems to have landed on their feet. In fact, many people held their ground and have not been deterred by anything.

Whether it be changing a job because they chose to take an experimental… I won’t use the word medicine… as I don’t believe it’s a medicine. I believe it’s a toxic ingredient for many people.

So many people’s lives have improved; those that stood their ground and not been harassed and bullied in any way. There have been many positive changes and I can see it.

People are thriving in such beautiful ways, and they have told us their stories of what it was like to go through this period – for them to stand their ground. They’re glowing, they’re thriving.

Some of them say it: It has been very challenging but very rewarding at the same time.

Sometimes, without pressure, we don’t get to see who we are. For a diamond to be created, it must be under pressure for the longest time. The butterfly and its transformation to beauty.

I see these past few years as a time of massive transformation. At the end of the day, people have the power to choose the life they want to live. Some people chose to go along with the crowd mentality, while others decided this is a time to change everything around them.

It has been a marvellous time, a beautiful time, a miraculous time, a challenging time – a true gift.

Listen to this Sunday Wire program – Pete Evans interviewed by Patrick Henningsen.

EN: Wonderfully said. Well, it seems you did the right thing to disconnect as things started to heat up in Australian society. It was inspiring to see you take that step away. But you have been spotted in the wild recently by news outlets [Pete laughs], now with a ‘wild haircut’ from ‘the depths of obscurity’. It seems you can’t do anything publicly without such attention. I wanted to ask – do you plan to dip your toes back into the mainstream world?

PE: I’ve been asked by mainstream outlets to appear on quite a few of their shows over the past couple of years, so there’s still interest from that realm [laughs]. Nothing as of yet appeals to me.

I’m grateful for my experiences in that mainstream reality over the last couple of decades. They were choices I made for personal growth; facing my fears of insecurity and putting myself at the centre of attention, so to speak. But it’s an interesting word, ‘mainstream’, isn’t it?

I feel like the mainstream is definitely evolving and redefining itself, whatever that may be to each person. If you look at mainstream television these days… we haven’t had free-to-air television for a couple of decades on purpose. I still don’t have it.

But, from time to time, I will investigate to see what is going on in that realm. It feels like it is on a little bit of a downward spiral. I say that because ratings seem to be falling for most of these mainstream outlets, whether online news, traditional networks, etc.

We’re seeing it happen all across the world, so they are going through a transformational period and it will be interesting to see where they end up.

At the start of this pandemic, I did say to quite a few people: This could be a career-defining moment for a journalist or outlet or publication to lead the evolution of new mainstream content. The only one I see ‘bucking the trend’ is [Fox News’] Tucker Carlson, with increased ratings while his competitors are falling substantially.

I’ve noticed that he posts information in complete contrast to his mainstream counterparts, and it’s no surprise to me that this is the result. That should be a good indication this is a period of evolution, and those who understand will reap the benefits.

But those who continue to stay stuck in the old paradigm of the old program might find themselves out of a job in the future. So it’s exciting times, I reckon.

When you sit back and watch it, sometimes you need to do so with a long-term vision or a big-picture view. So many people want things to happen [clicks fingers]… very quickly.

But, perhaps just like a good stew or a good curry, sometimes things need time to cook slowly and for all the flavours to melt. If we try to rush these things, we might end up with something quite unpalatable. But if we have patience and trust and we surrender to the time that some things take to evolve, mature, and develop, we can see it like a great recipe coming to life.

EN: A beautiful analogy, and you certainly know a thing or two about a good stew or curry, that’s for sure. [Pete laughs]. You spoke on the decline of the mainstream, and I would say ratings are going down because people are realising they have been lied to over and over again.

You spoke on some of these lies – like vaccine efficacy and lockdown harms. Many of the lies and deceptions are now coming to light. Even the mainstream is forced to admit it some of it now.

I want to get your thoughts on everything that has unfolded. Sitting back from the wings, could you believe Australia ever would get to the point it did over the last two years? And do you think we will ever see an apology come out for Pete Evans and other so-called ‘conspiracy theorists’ any time soon?

PE: [Laughs] One thing I don’t ever need is an apology, and I never have a desire to be ‘right’ as well. That’s not what I’m seeking, ever. That doesn’t interest me. Why I spoke out so loudly at the start and still continue to do was… hmm… I interviewed this beautiful man, James Lyons Weiler. I asked him why he did what he did.

He is a remarkable scientist, and he spoke out in the United States. He said, ‘Pete, if there was somebody outside my house – a bully or an adult – attacking a child, and I knew it was happening… there is no way in the world I would sit in my house and pretend it wasn’t. I would go out there and do everything I could to protect that child or put an end to it, even if it meant risking my life to do so’.

That’s why I think so many people spoke out. It wasn’t just the children we were concerned for – it was so much human life that we cared about. As you said, what has come out over the last few years regarding the ‘safe and effective’ injections. We know they are not effective; we know they are not safe for every person – I mentioned that to Liz Hayes when I spoke to 60 Minutes.

Unless you can show me it is 100% safe for every human being, I won’t be putting it into my body, and why would anybody put it into their body if they don’t know the ramifications?

Witnessing now what is coming out – and some of us knew this from day dot – this is an experiment, and an experiment on such a grand scale, on billions of people. This is a study happening right now, and who wants to be a part of a study on an untested, unknown pharmaceutical product?

It made no sense whatsoever to me and many others, and it still doesn’t.

Why would anyone openly trust the people pushing this onto the public?

Channel 9 had their talking heads go on TV and create a commercial telling Australians to take the shot. Who are these people to tell citizens to take the shot? You have people who are TV presenters, not scientists, with no medical training, with no idea of regenerative health.

Many of them are overweight or obese and quite sick themselves. Who in their right mind would take information from unhealthy, unqualified people? And we see this all over the world.

Ministers of ‘health’ telling people how to be healthy through an untested pharmaceutical product? You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to have concerns and questions and exercise caution, especially when it comes to yourself and especially when it comes to your children.

And the results now speak for themselves.

EN: Do you think we will reach a time when any of these people are held accountable? At the moment, there are calls for a royal commission into the COVID response, legal challenges, etc. Do you think we will ever see a period where responsibility is taken?

PE: Hmm, in this country? I mean those two words… ‘royal commission’, you have to laugh at something like that. The whole notion of royalty is something bewildering to me.

I said at the start of this pandemic that it is a hoax, it is a scam, and royalty has to be one of the biggest hoaxes and scams on the planet! [laughs] So, to have a ‘royal commission’?

As we are witnessing around the world, the judicial system, the ‘institutions’ that uphold the law, are dubious.

To answer your question, I don’t really know. I’m not concerned with that. I feel at this stage of the ‘game’ there is enough information out there for people to make their own minds up.

If and when this happens again, they may be more cautious and not listen to the so-called ‘experts’. So, I don’t know about being held to account.

Perhaps over the next five to ten years we will see similar things happen that previously unfolded in the tobacco industry. Even then, tobacco is a sacred plant demonised like cannabis.

Cigarette manufacturers, over many decades, had to face up to their questionable actions, including putting certain chemicals into their products.

Meeting Robert F. Kennedy Jr., early 2020.

I think accountability will probably take a very long time. Who will they put on the chopping block as a scapegoat for this? I think that will be something to watch play out. I definitely think somebody like Dr Fauci or Bill Gates may come under some scrutiny.

But again, what I see are the positives coming out of this, and that’s people making their own decisions. Having true sovereignty over decisions, having free will, and doing what they like in this world (without harming anyone else, of course).

Apart from that, we can pretty much govern ourselves as much as possible. Complete ownership over each and every action we do in this life, and that is something I have promoted for many years.

If we don’t play the victim, and if we take accountability for our actions, then there’s nobody really to blame. We get this world on our own terms and act from our own decision-making.

Some people find it difficult to take ownership of their actions because they want somebody to tell them what to do, they want someone to look after them.

When you look at modern medicine, that seems to be a substitute for a mother figure. When you look at modern government, that seems to be a substitute for a father figure. Many people I speak with have detailed this ‘mommy medicine and daddy government’ relationship.

If people haven’t worked out their mother and father issues – and I’m going a bit deeper here – but many of the identities or beliefs we adopt come from our mothers and fathers.

A lot of the deep work individuals can do is re-pattern themselves or create new beliefs about who they are, that is away from our prenatal figures and our culture.

We can cut the tethers and influences in our lives to gain a better understanding of who we are, instead of just a product of Mum, Dad, our lineage, our history, our culture. Because therein lies some great realisations and understandings.

If we’re willing to do the work and discover who we are, we don’t seem to need to rely on external influences in our lives because everything – including accountability – comes from ourselves.

We are our own guru; we have our own answers inside of us. We just need to tap into who we are and ask ourselves ‘who are we?’ often enough, and we will get to the core realisation of everything.

EN: I certainly see your sentiments on the power of transformation and the notion that change will come over time. At the same time, though, it also seems as if the state – in a certain way – is transforming into a different type of beast. For example, people were stalked, beaten, and harassed for exercising their democratic right to protest. Did you catch any of this?

PE: I’m all for people protesting if that’s their journey and that’s what they’d like to do. But protesting and demanding freedom means you don’t have it already.

That can be very triggering to people, and I don’t mean to trigger people because I’m very grateful there are people out there who chose to stand up and protest – hopefully, that benefited them along their journey. But to beg for, or ask for, or demand freedom – it means you don’t already have it. We absolutely have freedom and have everything we need to be free already.

EN: I want to switch gears and move to the present day – a time in which the events we are speaking of almost seem to have occurred in a different reality – as we now switch in a truly ‘Wag The Dog’ fashion to wartime propaganda and coverage.

I wanted to get your thoughts on the current situation in Ukraine? Specifically, you were labelled a ‘Nazi’ for sharing a cartoon with a Black Sun symbol on it. Yet now the Australian government is financially supporting a country with a nationalist military unit, the Azov Battalion/Regiment, with members running around with the same symbol on their gear. Surely you see the irony in this whole situation, Pete?

(left) Nov 2020: Booksellers showed they believe in free speech by pulling Pete’s books. (right) June 2022: Ukrainian Azov regiment soldier with Black Sun tattoo.

PE: Yeah, thanks very much for asking. That was an interesting experience, to say the least. Being labelled a ‘neo-Nazi’, in a word, was ridiculous. That is the only word I can use to describe the media sensationalism that came from that. For the record, I have never been a neo-Nazi, nor does it appeal to me [laughs], nor do I have any interest in it.

And I did state this. I had no idea what being a neo-Nazi meant when I was accused of being a neo-Nazi [laughs].

So, I’ll give this subject some oxygen to set the record straight.

A few weeks prior, I was posting on my Instagram page and I used to put a rainbow and love heart after the text on all my posts. Somebody came to my page and asked, ‘are you gay because you’re using the rainbow sign’? I said, ‘no, I just like rainbows’. I love when a rainbow pops out – one of the most beautiful things in nature.

There was another week where sometimes I would put a butterfly at the end of my posts, I think this was on Facebook. Someone came on and asked, ‘are you a paedophile? Butterflies are a symbol of paedophilia!’ I responded, ‘no, I’m not a paedophile. I like butterflies because they are representative of transformation’.

Fast forward to this incident, and now it is a cartoon of a caterpillar sitting opposite a butterfly or a moth. I had no f**king idea there was a Black Sun on the moth or butterfly, on its wing. What I did see was a trump hat on the caterpillar that said, ‘you’ve changed’, and the thing was ‘we’re meant to’. So, all I saw with that cartoon was transformation. That’s all I saw.

Next thing, somebody wrote on my page there was a Black Sun symbol, and this was a Nazi symbol. In fact, if you do some research, it was originally a Celtic or Viking symbol.

I quickly found this out with a search and wrote this response very quickly at night. I was waiting for somebody to notice it. Now, with everything I’ve explained about the rainbow and the butterfly, I should have explained it a little bit further there – how everyone misinterprets everything I say.

But then, somebody came on and goes, ‘oh, he knew it was a neo-Nazi symbol, so that must mean he is a sympathiser or is associated with them!’ I had no f**king idea, and I’m using that word because it’s ridiculous. So, within 24 hours, it was put across every news outlet that I was a neo-Nazi?! I mean, how the f**k did that happen?!

Anybody that knows me or knows my work as a chef – and you can read the 20+ cookbooks I’ve done – knows that I celebrate every single culture on the face of the planet. I’m in reverence of every culture and race that has taken ingredients and put them into the culinary arts, into subsistence, into health.

My last three decades have been spent exploring this wonderful planet and getting to know these wonderful cultures – delving into their heritage and celebrating that. Even in our film, The Magic Pill, we celebrate Indigenous Australians. Their knowledge and wisdom is paramount to a healthy, sustainable immune system. So, for anyone to consider me a neo-Nazi is just beyond belief.

I was subsequently dropped by my 12-15 business partners. They publicly denounced me in the space of 24 to 48 hours without even contacting me to ask my opinion. It was this complete and utter shutdown. Again, it’s just ridiculous that some of these people I worked with for a decade and knew quite intimately personally and professionally would ever consider that to be the case. That’s why none of them actually contacted me because they knew it was nonsense; it was for purely financial reasons that they did what they did – and I understand and accept that.

However, the one thing I will not accept is someone calling me that or believing that.

Turn the calendar six months or a year later and now we have the Ukraine war. This was one of the first things I was alerted to – members of the Azov Battalion openly wearing the same symbol I shared! [laughs]

It interested me enough that I did a podcast with this beautiful man who has studied symbology and he goes, ‘mate, that Black Sun is a very beautiful, profound symbol, used way before Nazis’. He said it was a very spiritual symbol used by so many people.

It’s interesting this is all coming out now with Ukraine. I don’t know what’s going on over there; it doesn’t make much sense to me what’s happening. But yeah, if there are neo-Nazis over in Ukraine, so be it. You don’t see the mainstream media focus on this, do you?

EN: No mate, they are too busy focusing on the real neo-Nazis like Pete Evans! [both laugh].

PE: I’ve realised that when the media want to ridicule somebody, generally the last thing they use (and will use) is the race card. I’ve seen this happen over and over again. That is the last-hanging fruit for them, even if it’s not true, like in my instance. It doesn’t matter to them because if they can use it in any way, shape or form, they will use it. So, when this happens in the future, question it.

EN: Yes, I think it is a bit unheard of for a neo-Nazi to support native cuisines of cultures worldwide for decades – it doesn’t seem to align with the stereotype [both laugh]. I just wanted to wrap things up by talking about the future. Where do you see things going over the next decade, and what trends do you think will emerge? I know you speak philosophically and spiritually on many things, but do you have any recommendations on how people can ‘navigate the storm’, so to speak?

PE: We have all the solutions we need. We have financial solutions that are emerging. Something like Bitcoin, for example. The Bitcoin Standard by Saifedean Ammous is the most important book released over the last decade because it has a solution.

Now, whether that manifests as an antidote to the current financial system – as a new way for people to conduct their lives and be financially secure – time will tell.

You know, it’s up to the individual and the collective. Again, free will. We will find that out.

Regarding long-term regenerative health, I believe we have the answers. Getting old does not mean demise in our health, whether emotionally, spiritually, or physically. I actually believe it’s the opposite – as we age, we can become stronger and wiser. We can evolve and remember who we are spiritually and continue cultivating all those aspects of who we are.

Diet plays an important role and is one thing we can investigate and experiment with to see what works. I am a living testament to this, and so many others are.

You asked, ‘what does the future hold for me?’ 2023 involves getting back into the kitchen and sharing more recipes and information for people on long-term regenerative health – and all elements of health. Whether it be belief systems, removing traumas from our lives, or integrating them into a ‘new you’, so to speak. How do we keep evolving? That’s what I want to keep sharing, and that’s what we do with the Evolve Network and Evolve Network TV app and platform.

You know, it was always a dream of mine to start a wellness retreat. We must have had three or four hundred people come through and share their stories with us. We’ve hosted beautiful interviews with doctors across the world; researchers that are looking to find their information.

Telegram is a wonderful platform that so far seems uncensored and without shadow-banning. So many people are tuning in to get information and see what’s happening behind the scenes.

There is always a way through if you embrace the idea of finding the solutions.

I believe the present is bright, I believe the future is bright.

The storm that you talk about: I think there’s always a storm manifesting and coming through, then there are the sunny days, there’s the rainbow, the rain, the wind, and then there’s the hail, there’s the drought – we have it all.

How do we embrace all of those and not become the victim but celebrate all of the cycles and seasons and fluctuations and the forever-changing nature of our reality? That’s the goal.

How do we see the beauty in all of this?

Get the issue this article appears in

Nobody can deny there certainly are agendas taking place. The injection rollout is one example of an agenda. Will it be the last? I don’t think so. Will they use that card again? Potentially.

They may incorporate these tactics into a new ‘deadly flu’. Some people I’ve interviewed believe this will be the case because Pfizer is in Phase III trials of an mRNA flu shot.

If you look at timelines and what’s in development, you can anticipate what might be coming down the chute, so to speak.

The climate change agenda seems to be a hot topic as of late. Speaking of royalty, before and now King Charles is the head of that bloodline; his beliefs in that area. I think we should watch that space.

What will come from that? Perhaps what we have seen over the last few years, with this injection, is more and more information coming to light to shine on or debunk these agendas.

Whether it be weather modification which is happening. Whether it be a natural cyclical process we are going through or a timeline we are going through. Could it be nature plus man-made influence? Time will tell and more information will come out.

There are already so many scientists calling climate change a hoax. One of my favourite books is State of Fear by Michael Crichton. I highly recommend you check it out. It was written 15+ years ago and is about the global warming agenda.

Again, if people are interested, the best course of action is not so much disconnection but connection to themselves. More connection to mother earth. The more we connect with this amazing planet we co-inhabit, the more we learn from mother nature.

That’s the best chance we have to navigate any storm, whether natural or man-made. The stronger we are and the more connected we are to nature – and to ourselves – the better chance we have to navigate what is coming with more ease, empathy, grace, compassion, strength, wisdom, surrender, acceptance, trust, and love.

That cannot be a bad thing, in my opinion.

I wish everyone well on the journey of their lifetime.

Just like the saying when you’re sitting in ceremony: ‘Aho, brothers and sisters. Aho!’

    ‘Journey well’.

US Deep State Tangled in Their Own Russian Plot

    From New Dawn 167 (Mar-Apr 2018)

Editor’s Note: As with many New Dawn featured articles, this 2018 piece by journalist Patrick Henningsen was extremely prescient, particularly following the recent revelations exposing the Russiagate hoax, and how Washington was preparing its geopolitical chess pieces for subsequent events in Ukraine. The 2023 Twitter Files also confirm that US Democrats and media organisations knowingly propagated the ‘Russiagate theory’ hoax and spread a false narrative about “Russian bots” and trolls amplifying pro-Trump messaging.

Make no mistake about it: the US Deep State and its Atlanticist partners are waging a new Cold War against Russia, but will it go hot? It’s still difficult to say how far this sabre rattling will go, but one thing is certain: Washington’s stroganoff is definitely overcooked.

When WikiLeaks published leaked Democratic National Committee emails in July 2016, it didn’t take long for Washington and its media oracles to trade-in their ultimate cash-cow ‘threat’ de jour, ISIL, in favour of a newly inflated Russian Bear.

Right out of the gates, the media went big, clamouring for something to be done about Russia “hacking” the 2016 US presidential election. When no evidence materialised, the narrative mysteriously morphed into “Russian collusion,” before being lowered to “Russian meddling,” and then finally, 18 months after the story began, it’s been further downgraded to mere “Russian influence.” As weak as the case continues to be, the reality is that political operatives have staked everything on their official Russian conspiracy theory and are dutifully ploughing ahead regardless.

One of the Deep State’s key partners in propping-up their narrative are the Silicon Valley tech firms. In January, Republican lawmakers began pressuring the House Intelligence Committee to release an explosive memo written by chairman Devin Nunes. The memo contains damning evidence about a fraudulent surveillance warrant ordered by Barack Obama’s FBI and Department of Justice, in order to spy on members of Donald Trump’s campaign and transition teams.

Before the memo’s release, the hashtag #ReleaseTheMemo began trending on Twitter. It didn’t take long before the Deep State spin machine claimed it had evidence that the top-trending hashtag was being propelled through cyberspace by “Russian influence-linked accounts.” Unhinged Democrats, led by Congressman Adam Schiff and Senator Dianne Feinstein, went even further and drafted a letter to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey demanding the Silicon Valley giants “conduct an in-depth forensic examination” of their latest anti-Russian conspiracy theory.1

According to their overwrought line of thinking, anyone who retweeted or ‘liked’ any Twitter post which was either sympathetic to Russia or supported Trump had in fact taken part in the Kremlin’s secret “active measures” operation to influence the vulnerable minds of Americans. Twitter was so concerned that it sent an email out to hundreds of thousands of users who might have been ‘touched’ by the Kremlin, informing them of their original sin.

California tech firms found no evidence of Russian meddling on social media over the last year, nor were there any attempts to sponsor ‘interference’ either.2 Still, desperate congressional conspiracy theorists like Adam Schiff want to pressure Silicon Valley firms to rummage through their data logs in the hopes of magically finding some evidence.

As it turned out, the source of the hysterical reports was a Deep State cut-out organisation, a new online initiative promoted by the US-German Marshall Fund called “Hamilton 68,3fronted by former military and FBI operative Clint Watts. He is an associate of the antediluvian cold warrior Deep State think tank Foreign Policy Research Institute.4

Watts’ cut-out front is not dissimilar to another earlier online Deep State Russiaphobia project called “PropOrNot”5 which was promoted by the Washington Post and listed some 200 mostly North America alternative media websites including the Ron Paul Institute, Global Research, Truth Out, Paul Craig Roberts and many others. The shadowy site claimed these websites were all part of an intricate nefarious network of Kremlin agents.

Both of these Deep State vilification initiatives claim to be part of ‘counter-propaganda’, but you can’t counter something which isn’t there in the first place.

In the Crosshairs of the Deep State

During the primary phase of the US presidential election, Donald Trump was essentially up against 15 Republican war hawks (except for Rand Paul). He adopted a more pacifist-reformist approach in order to separate himself from the field – and it worked. Trump ran the table and cruised into the Republican Party nomination, ready to do battle with arch-globalist and Deep State favourite Hillary Clinton.

His rhetoric on the campaign trail was promising. The soon-to-be 45th President of the United States spoke boldly about reaching out to Russian President Vladimir Putin and normalising relations with Russia, stressing the need for the two nations to cooperate on a number of pressing issues, not least of all the War on Terror and the fight to defeat ISIL in Syria and Iraq.

Trump was popular with Americans feeling the fatigue of war, and also with disillusioned Obama supporters who believed in his ‘hope and change’ slogan, only to be saddled with seven wars from the Nobel Peace Prize president. Trump’s desire for détente with Russia angered both the Republican and Democratic establishments, federal agency operatives, and of course the mainstream media who have been ginning-up a new Cold War since the US-backed coup d’état in the Ukraine in 2014.

Then, while the Trump transition team was waiting in the wings after defeating Clinton in a stunning upset, the outgoing Commander-in-Chief, Barack Obama, made a series of cutting moves that would undermine any chance of Trump starting his term on a positive footing with Moscow. First, Obama signed an extension on US sanctions against Russia as well as adding a number of new measures.6  But what came next can only be described as an act of diplomatic warfare when Obama ordered even more new sanctions along with the expulsion of 35 Russian diplomats and the closing of Russian diplomatic properties in Maryland and New York, which Obama claimed were being used for intelligence-related purposes.7

“There has to be a cost and a consequence for what Russia has done,” said one of the mainstream media’s typically unnamed ‘senior administration officials’ at the time. “It is in an extraordinary step for them to interfere in the democratic process here in the United States of America. There needs to be a price for that.”

Russian was understandably irate and warned this was Cold War déjà vu being initiated by the White House. Obama did not stop there. To keep things on ice between Washington and Moscow, he then deployed 300 US Marines to Norway, supposedly to reinforce Norway’s 122 mile-long border with Russia near the Arctic Circle.8 It was the first US deployment in Norway since World War II. Finally, right before Trump’s inauguration, Obama ordered the deployment of some 3,000 US soldiers into Poland to “reassure NATO allies who were concerned about ‘a more aggressive Russia’.”9

The neophyte Trump tried playing it cool, even complimenting Vladimir Putin for not responding in a mindless tit-for-tat. Regardless, it was clear Trump had already been sandboxed before his term got started.

To add insult to injury, while all this was unfolding, Obama appears to have also dispatched his top Deep State agent, former national security adviser Susan Rice, to oversee the spying of the Trump transition team, allegedly under the guise of surveilling “foreign officials,” in what became known as the great ‘Unmasking Scandal’.10

From this point on, it became very clear what the Deep State wanted – it had no intention of allowing any US president to pursue good relations with Russia. Before the 2016 election, it was difficult to conceptualise this shadowy thing called the ‘Deep State’. It had previously been spoken of by a few great scholars such as Peter Dale Scott11 and Mike Lofgren.12 Some call it a ‘state within a state’, while others refer to it as a hidden hierarchical network of corruption that facilitates all number of criminal enterprises globally. From hostile corporate takeovers of countries and the unleashing of jackals like the ones described by John Perkins13 in Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, to proxy ‘regime change’ terrorist militias, to the CIA and its global drugs and weapons trafficking syndicates, and the banks and financial institutions who launder their illicit proceeds, some of which are used to fund other covert and ‘black ops.’

At the very top of this pyramid of international organised crime is what US president Dwight D. Eisenhower14 famously dubbed the “Military Industrial Complex.” These are the criminal interests represented by Trump’s own party opponents like Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, Lindsey Graham and of course John McCain. Certainly the same could be said about Hillary Clinton, a key operative in the Deep State machine since her husband’s days as Arkansas governor.15

After Trump took office it wasn’t long before he was surrounded by Deep State loyalists, all tasked with making sure the new President stayed on course with the wider agenda. This is their strategy of geopolitical tension on multiple fronts, designed to keep Washington and its allies on a permanent war footing, leading to the most important outcome of this equation – the triggering of increased military and ‘defence’ spending, not only in the US but in Europe too. Positioning Russia as Washington’s number one existential threat is the keystone of this strategy.

One year on, we can now see exactly how Russiagate greased the tracks for at least one controversial arms transaction: an initial US deal to send $50 million worth of lethal Javelin anti-tank missiles to the Ukraine.16 As arms shipments go, this is a small one amounting to a mere drop in the bucket compared to what the US trafficked to terrorists in Syria since 2012, but it does demonstrate how US politics can effectively trigger the mechanism on a deal that was simply not possible one year ago. You can expect more arms shipments, all fuelled by sustained fear-mongering and the spinning of evermore colourful fables about how Russia’s ‘little green men’ invaded and are occupying the Ukraine.17

No doubt, this overall strategy of tension is what Trump’s vaunted ‘Generals’ were aiming at when pushing him to engage in more theatrical sabre rattling with Kim Jung-Un in North Korea. The strategy paid off as Congress enthusiastically inked his pen for a new $700 billion defence budget in December 2017 – a near 20 percent increase from the previous year’s already bloated Pentagon money pit. Interestingly, the $56 billion hike was almost as much as the entire Russian annual defence budget.

The business doesn’t end there either. In Brussels, a concerted and relentless campaign of hysterical Russiaphobia in Europe has helped pave the way for a historic new European ‘collective defence’ agreement. 23 European Union countries signed the new Permanent Structured Cooperation (PESCO), a historic move that officially lays the framework for European military integration, or an EU Army. This includes a centralised defence budget for military hardware, facilities, and research & development. At the heart of this new EU defence force will be the usual suspects – transatlantic military juggernauts like Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Raytheon, General Dynamic, BAE Systems and many others. EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Federica Mogherini, described the signing of PESCO as a “historic moment in European defence.”18 By 2025, you could see a collective EU defence budget that rivals the US, as the world’s number two military spender ahead of China and Russia. Eventually, this will move NATO to an adjunct role in the job of policing the European hemisphere. You can almost hear Eisenhower rolling in his grave.

In addition to this, there is already talk of increasing the US defence budget to $1 trillion over the next two years.19 Frugal-minded Americans would be shocked to realise that when you audit America’s entire National Security Budget, it already totals $1.1 trillion.20

All of this, we’re told, is to counter the great Russian menace. How odd then, that in 2017 the Russian Federal Treasury announced its nation’s annual defence budget was being cut by 25.5 percent down to $65.4 billion21 – the most drastic cut in the country’s defence spending since the early 1990s. If the West is to be believed and Vladimir Putin really is “the next Hitler,” then his war chest is looking a bit scant. Good luck with the world domination Vlad.

As for the West, the peoples’ challenge still remains: how to dislodge the Deep State and re-take control of their governments?
