    An Aquarian Age Revolution In the Balance

    The challenge of the Aquarian Age is to “inner-stand” between the two personal and trans-personal forces represented by its rulers Saturn and Uranus. 

    Many astrologers fall into the personality trap of labelling poor Saturn as a “grim reaper” or the lord tyrant of time, or the grumpy ruler of Capricorn who is also the co-ruler of the personal choices we make under Aquarius. Call him Planet of Contraction, the hard taskmaster of Discipline, the conserver of resources. In the bigger picture of an age of 20 centuries now dawning, Saturn in its Aquarian transits will expose all the ways our personality gets hung up in restriction.

    Even this idea of restriction restricts understanding Saturn’s true nature. 

    Looking through the mask of personality darkly, the ego filters out the unified essence behind every changeable appearance. Take it as a holy hypothesis not to believe but to explore individually, uniquely. A mask of society’s conditioning can only hide behind it your original face. The one you had before you were born. The one you have after you die. The witness hidden behind the mask that society has made you forget by gathering up its pretences of borrowed personality.

    That happening that remembers this witnessing face of consciousness is a seer. The grim reaper is seen by the unfiltered seer as something other than restrictive. If a luminous and innocent enlightenment came into this world falsely labelled “you,” it is rediscovered waiting behind the mask of “you” that obscured. 

    To that blessed one, Saturn is not a limiter or binder but your best friend. If truth is your centre, Saturn is there to show you the truth behind every action and inaction, hope, fear, dream or nightmare your “personalised” life presents before a constant witnessing consciousness, for that is your “original face.” That is the face the Zen masters metaphorically suggest is the one you cannot experience. All experiences are witnessed outside of “it.” Call it the constant and eternal Witness of changeable appearances that are by their nature limited by their incontinence, like a wave that rises into form and retreats back from whence it came: a cosmic, eternal ocean. The wave as form is not eternal, but the water oceanically is.

    When the original face awakens behind the mask. When the appearance of you as wave remembers each moment in its apparent shape passing that it is not separate from the cosmic ocean, that the ocean ever resides inside the smallest dewdrop, that is “inner-standing.”

    The Aquarian Age is a grassroots-to-mountain peak rebellion against the Piscean Age and its centralised controls, its paternal, death-cult religions that sell the “end times” afterlife and don’t let you live your life in paradise now. 

    The right understanding of Saturn’s personality mask lesson can either bring humanity into an age of a Global Peace or Police state. 

    If you live more in a mask, the transpersonal big-picture ruler of Aquarius, Uranus, will bring you the Dark Side of Aquarius as your reality. 

    Individual sovereignty is the Uranian Aquarian potential. With the 2020s we begin the evolution towards the decentralising down of everything left behind by 20 Piscean centuries. The breakthrough into this new age will have transpired the moment any human being this moment becomes fully aware that Being is a nation unto itself. 

    If enough individuals awaken to this, a unique and unexpected paradox of a Uranus society happens only when people are individually sovereign, fully freed by fully awakening consciousness. Only the sovereign individual can turn Anarchy away from its current perversion of self-destruction and Uranian chaos to what Anarchy was ever intended to be.

    True anarchy does not mean “no government” but something more subtle: people who are enlightened to the fact that true freedom – the motto of the Aquarian Age “to Know” – is to know from direct experience and authority that the greater expanse of your freedom equally expands your ability to self-govern. And only a fully free and responsible individual can harmoniously commune with others. 

    Community is a dead Piscean Age word. In this Aquarian Age it will lose the paternal, authoritarian cocoon of a noun and metamorphose into a living butterfly of a verb. From community we set forth into a new age of Communing with each other.

    The “Police State” future is a personality’s misunderstanding from the roots of Saturn in Aquarius’ dominion over the individual facing the transpersonal dreams of Uranus, the higher ruler of the Aquarian Age of “Knowing.” 

    The police state of unconsciousness is the end result of a constant brain-griming the soul behind the personality mask with the dark Aquarian arts of propaganda, corporately controlled media, public commons online privatised to shadow block or de-platform free (Uranian) speech. In a Dark Aquarian Age, Uranian humanity is suppressed by the inhuman, privately controlled, non-alive, no-human of A.I. (Artificial Idiocy). The magnification of such idiocy into our machines is not an intelligent future but technological Viagra for the lusts of intellect presuming wisdom. 

    I ask you intellectually-identified creators of A.I. this question: How can you qualify “intelligence” with “artificial”?! Only the unwise can overlook this oxymoronic move. 

    Man created ego-bots and Adolf Algorithms, and all the artificial “almost-intelligent” ways to render humans slaves of a virtual enlightenment. 

    The Aquarian golden-aged alternative requires enough individuals in this era of individuality communing right here and now to become aware of what wisdom is lacking in A.I. because until your mask comes off, ego identity makes everyone AH! (Artificial Humanity).

    The atmospheres of Aquarius the Water Bearer – that electric blue mist of a water that vibrates in its angular symbolic lines like a stock market’s ups and downs, booms or busts – changes the climate of the mind and the world’s atmosphere into an auto-suicidal future if the individual remains masked. However, Saturn in reality illuminates only the limits of your illusions against the limitless possibilities of Truth. 

    Take his hand to remove your mask. Let the Original Face, the Source consciousness, be rediscovered under its fake-mask of ego and then all the things Uranus and his Water Bearer rule in Aquarius, those things you cannot see but underpin all and everything – such as your consciousness – guides a 20-century age. 

    Aquarius rules the invisible, the Science of the Awakened Ones: A Truth that does not “exist” – therefore it is free of the burden of existing and “non-existing” too. The Atmosphere of Enlightenment that is your very being can never be seen, because all experiences, including that of your personality, its thoughts, emotions, body, are appearances reflected in the being’s mirrorlike consciousness. 

    You cannot seek what you have always been, but you can forget it and run around every corner of reality and illusion for millions of misery-go-rounds of incarnate life, chasing after the thing you never stopped being, this “Itness.” 

    This Is-not-nessing Isness. 

    That is what can be unleashed out of the genie Aquarius’ tipped urn – a brain- and being-washing from Itness in a bath clearing all the dust of identity off your consciousness mirror so being can reflect clearly what is before it, enjoying life fully, living it, but not being of it. 

    Uranus is all for brain-and-being washing, each moment.

    Why hold onto the dirt of eras?

    The personality is a master of collecting dirt of mind, the dust-emote and identities. Let rush the genie Aquarius water out of the urn for an electric power washing of ecstasy for those who move from the motto to know to all-knowing to the ultimate of no-knowing that is the no-mind of being. 

    Saturn in Aquarius touched the roots of dark or golden ages starting on 23 March through to 2 July 2020. Saturn temporarily transiting our skies in Aquarius gave us a little, one-degree dip into the Water Bearer’s urn for potentially better and worse to come when Saturn ends its over three-year transit of Capricorn, the sign of Corporate hegemony. 

    Pluto, the Lord of the Underworld, will miss the “grinning” Reaper in rebellious Aquarius.

    Pluto’s grand Capricorn cycle soon to end by January 2024 began roughly 250 years ago, the last time it serviced a generation’s time in Capricorn when it gave birth to modern democracies, the apogee of aristocratic rule over the birthing of the first middle classes. Pluto’s entry into Aquarius by 1777 began a century of popular revolutions against class asses of the one-percent. 

    The middle classes in North America and Europe 250 years later suffer a midlife crisis while new middle classes spread across much of the developing world. As Pluto’s current transit of Capricorn soon ends, they will seek freedom from the constraints of new corporate-aristocracies and their king trillion and billionaires. The American Revolution of past becomes a global revolution, near future, after 2024. 

    Consider carefully the “prelude” to the next century of revolution we passed through by 2 July 2020. It is Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn and the ruler of the personal actions of each of us, under an Aquarian Age beginning its first travail. The birth pain will scream and cry economic and politically.

    You might find it strange to hear me say this, but a perpetual wave of states of emergencies that keeps fascism overlording people’s freedoms can also strain under the stress of many things these times of constant crisis will throw at the powerful as well as the rest of us, and soon.

    Astrologically speaking, there is about to begin a shift in key, corporate-friendly planets out of their long transit through earth (establishment, finance, banks and world order rulers) into air signs of quick thought, out of the box intellectual curiosity and humanitarian waves of revolution. Saturn began testing the waters poured by Aquarius the Water Bearer on 23 March 2020. Saturn toe dipped one-degree in, then pulled his toe out in retrograde motion to come back to establishment Capricorn on 2 July 2020. 

    Saturn dived into Aquarius on 18 December 2020, stirring the waters of global revolutionary times until 23 March 2023. 

    If you think 2020 was overturning apple carts of comfortable, unconscious life on Earth set in automatic ego-drive mode, brace yourself. On 20 January 2021, the inauguration of a new US president started a political crisis that will rock the world. On that day the conjunction of the Sun, Jupiter and Saturn’s scythe, all in Aquarius, struck the birth of the next term of a man in cognitive decline. Uranus Ruler of Aquarius in its fall in Taurus inharmoniously squares that Sun-Jupiter-Saturn conjunction!

    This president could see a complete political system failure and revolution in his (or her) four years in office. 

    Cry “Revolution!”

    “Pitchforks!”

    Or a complete suppression of the people in a surveillance and dictatorial state, the dark antithesis of the humanitarian, individual’s independence-loving Aquarian zeitgeist. 

    Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius transiting Taurus, squares off against its own sign and higher potentials because it is wallowing unhappily in Taurus the ruler of an ego’s personal business, career, property and consuming. 

    The next four years of this US presidential term has a birth chart that eggs on the vast majority of those who aren’t elites: the working people that had a snoot-full of their freedoms being stomped on by the establishment represented by Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn. 

    The dark side of saturnine Aquarian behaviour will be in full play. Suppression into abject fascism might have initial success but as the mid-decade approaches the cracks cleave. The civilisation’s established centralised power structures of bank, bundestrepublik and bureaucratic control topples. 

    The Piscean-age iconic edifices of political, economic, dogmatic religious and ecologically abusive systemic flaws – exposed completely – at last begin collapsing into a heap. These require a rebuild, a transmutation of what it is to be human, and how we treat ourselves, each other and the world – or extinction is our destiny by 2044 when Pluto ends its 20-year transit of Aquarius (Revolution!) starting in January 2024.

    Its generational transit at the beginning will pick up momentum stirring a collective feeling in humanity to move forward, to change, when Jupiter enters Gemini by May 2024. Its harmonious trines with Aquarian Pluto will be reinforced by an establishment-busting additional series of trines of Uranus starting upon its entry into Gemini in July 2025. 

    Uranus enters Gemini free to think freely and originally. That is when the tide of human destiny may have a fighting chance to survive the long emergency of the 2020s and 2030s up to and through 2044 when Pluto enters spiritually transcendent Pisces in 2044. 

    These are the ultimately good, initially cathartic things, people of the world, especially working people, need. Especially free loving, free thinking and feeling people. Let fire their adrenalin a righteous shock to awareness.

    Hear then in future’s augury these cries of “Havoc!” Letting slip the calls of Aquarian revolution once again as Pluto re-enters the sign of Aquarius that brought the world the French Revolution and many more popular revolutions to follow that changed the world: 

    Government regimes! You told us to stop working, so it is on YOU to bail US out! Grind us not, paying off YOUR debts!

    If I have lost my job, my small business, I am already in a Greater Depression!

    Why should I pay my taxes when banks hold me under rent and mortgage debt but print money for themselves to keep rich without my taxes? 

    Have I no value to you? Is my contribution to the state worthless? 

    Printing worthless fiat money to keep Wall Street speculators fat-and-ass-ly rich is a gesture of those above who view the working people below – all people – as serfs!

    In the times of Life B.C. (Before Coronavirus) compromise was considered a weakness. 

    In times of Life, switching on the A.C. (After Coronavirus), compromise is a strength. 

    Withhold a vote for the lesser of two evil, two-faced Democrat-Republican Corporate Parties will be considered a strength! 

    Following faux progressives and conservatives who preach but don’t ACT revolutionary – Enough! Finished!

    Shout them off the podiums, be they Donald Trumpeting or Bernie Sanders sand-bagging paper tigers manipulating the people’s misery and hope. Just shining the schystery on. Just talking about revolution and change with no balls to do it. 

    Real flesh and blood suffering people of America! Take back your Right to Life from those Corporations-turned-into-People. Let the un-human dead bury the undead! 

    It is we the living who make the world run. We the creatively working human beings that are the motive force. We Real people of the Real economy make the wealth, make the things that make a civilisation. 

    WE! US!! 

    Not you corporations masquerading as human things. 

    We will cast out the speculators with all the compassion of Jesus Christ overturning the tables of moneychangers in the Temple of the Living.

    Do not distract us with your infernal work to wage war on Iran or start a cold war with China added to one against Russia. Watch our anti-war movement gather. Watch us fight and cast out the largest Socialist boondoggles ever imposed: corporate welfare for the Rich, the Military-Industrial Complex and its pimp warmongers addicted to a business of fear, blood and death sustained by over HALF of the living citizens’ annual taxes. 

    Cut that American war machine business down to size and 90 percent of ALL WARS and threats of civilisation-ending cold-wars-turned-nuclear-hot would disappear. 

    Have at you! Witch-hunters of surveillance.

    We will not assuage. We will Julian Assange! 

    We have truth hunters and whistleblowers to catch you before comes a human holocaust in reply. 

    The time is rapidly approaching when we will arrest and put on trial all those politicians and businesspeople who broke up our American industries and sold them to China in the last 30 years. 

    Don’t blame this on China, or Russia, otherwise you are no different than Nazis who blamed everything wrong with their state of Third Reicheous-ness on the Jews. 

    Get this, finally! 

    China never stole a single job from Americans. 

    Corporate America did. 

    China is not our enemy as much as Corporate Americans are America’s enemies! 

    And you will face the people’s punishment like it was a new Nuremberg trial and like Hitler’s henchmen, you wretches of industry will be crowding the people’s court. You will be convicted to a life in prison of hard labour for hollowing out the American middle class, stripping us of our jobs, our industries, our self-reliance. 

    You left us exposed to plagues, banana-republic medical care, and governance bought by your rot over us!

    Life in the Post-Covid World Order

    In Brave New World, author Aldous Huxley wrote that the slaves of the future are happy. Drugged and genetically modified, their personalities are blunted and their bodies and minds configured by a technocracy whose scientists design humans to maximise their outputs for the benefit of the ruling classes. 

    Outside the world of fiction, the World Economic Forum (WEF) is an umbrella of multibillion-dollar, mostly US-based corporations and billionaires; a think tank in which the rulers of the world meet to discuss and try to shape the general direction of the global order. With permanent strikers in the US, for instance, refusing to work in what the late anthropologist David Graeber eloquently called “bullshit jobs,” the WEF’s academics and researchers understand that they could lose their grip on power. Global financial inequalities are widening as anti-democratic sentiments grow within “democratic” societies, whose populations realise that they have no control over their lives. 

    Rather than risk revolutions in numerous countries from strikers – now called The Great Resignation – the WEF seeks to ideologically capture potential revolutionary leaders and re-programme them to favour the WEF system (e.g., Greta Thunberg’s platform at the annual conference). The businesses that fund and join WEF’s Davos meetings recognise that real estate remains the physical basis on which profitable assets are constructed. Under slogans like the Great Reset, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and Build Back Better, WEF elites want to cement their new world order. 

    But what will that new order look like for non-elites? Unlike the present global malaise, the “new normal” – or “next normal” as WEF elites are calling it – aims to use hi-technology and data collection to tailor environments to the needs and wishes of the public who will be expected to participate in “sustainable” infrastructure and be data points for constant public health monitoring. 

    Like the hapless victims of Huxley’s dystopia, tomorrow’s society will be happily enslaved, at least in the minds of WEF planners. Workspaces will blur the lines between personalisation and professionalism, feelings of being cheated by the system will be reconceived as consuming less to help the environment, and the pains of reality will be soothed with immersion into joyous, incessant virtual reality like Facebook’s new Meta concepts. 

    BUILD BACK BETTER

    Mega-wealth in the global economy is a house of cards: it consists of digits on bank account computer screens that increase when the rich buy and sell repackaged debts to each other. When the gravy train derails every decade or so, the public bails out the perpetrators. Yet, the three main bases on which the intangible economy is constructed are tangible: precious metals, hydrocarbons, and real estate. 

    The new rulers of the world are the asset managers who hold the stocks, shares, bonds, and portfolios of the banks, hedge funds, insurers, pension companies, and real estate holdings. They include BlackRock, State Street, UBS, and Vanguard. Their fake wealth would not exist without the physical ownership of land. Real estate is the skin of the balloon in which they blow the hot air of money markets. 

    The WEF corporations understand the importance of real estate in relation to wealth inequality and uber-profits. They also understand that the younger generations are getting more and more desperate. In terms of size, housing quality is leading to mental health issues as younger people live and work in increasingly crowded and expensive cities. Not only is property ownership a dream for the majority of young westerners, renting is becoming harder as owners are reluctant to let their property to people in the insecure work of the expanding gig economy. 

    WEF corporations fear a brain and labour drain from cities as work-from-home youngsters flee to the countryside where dwellings are bigger and cheaper. The WEF notes that cities generate 80 per cent of global GDP, yet their revenues (e.g., from local taxes and property sales) are expected to fall as fewer people use public transport and reduced council budgets lead to disinvestment from public services. Asset companies want to keep workers locked into cities and are looking to redesign urban hellholes to make them more appealing: eco-friendly, health conscious, and tailored to the psychology of the individual.1

    WEF authors say that the new agenda will take place via “an increase in public-private cooperation,” meaning the taxpayer foots the bill, as usual. New urban slums will be greenwashed and prettied via the harnessing of personalised big tech data collection for “customisation.” While the rich continue to plunder, the working classes will have to get used to “adaptive reuse”; an eco-friendly normalisation of second-hand products; or “pre-loved” as they now call them. The WEF says that, “The private sector can also play an instrumental role in helping the public sector craft legislation that is viable for business.” What could possibly go wrong? 

    WEF emphasises that a whole tenth of global GDP is concentrated in a single sector: real estate. Commenting on the above, Christian Ulbrich, Global Chief Executive Officer and President of the real estate services company JLL, confirms: “The world will look different in the coming years; our cities and urban centres especially so.”2 

    On greenwashing in response to public pressure, Ahmed Galal Ismail, Chief Executive Officer of the holding company Majid Al Futtaim Properties, says “global investors, pension funds and financial institutions are demanding that their investee companies incorporate, track and report ESG [environmental, social and governance] performance into the risk-adjusted returns that they deliver.”3

    As we shall examine in more detail, artificial intelligence and the instantaneous advertising and automated services markets are exploding. In so-called smart homes, the wishes and intentions of the occupant will be sales opportunities for programmed machines, from fridges to heating systems, as the very biology of the tenant is tracked and analysed under the PR-friendly cover of public health monitoring. 

    Under counter-Covid biosurveillance, prospective AI in smart homes might also be tailored to provide commercial services. AI could, for instance, offer to adjust the solar-controlled room temperature if in-home cameras sense that the occupant might be too hot or cold. “Autonomous buildings autotune, adapting to dynamic indoor and outdoor conditions, create optimal working conditions.” Through bastardised communitarianism designed by WEF to prevent the poor from ever attaining wealth under the slogan of “equity,” the buildings will be designed with “cost-sharing mechanisms.”

    Existing examples, not yet fully authoritarian like the above, include the hub at Causeway, Boston, Massachusetts: a mixed-use revitalisation project that includes heat-regulating glass, airflow-supported balconies, and local food production. Another is Hong Kong’s Taikoo Place: an interconnected business hub. Citing patents per head of population, the WEF notes that increased population density – i.e., big cities – is linked to increased creativity and productivity. But the people who do the hard work don’t share in the patent wealth. Taxpayers, for instance, funded the vaccines that low-paid nurses administer, yet big pharma reaps the rewards. 

    In other words, they want people crammed into cities to boost innovation, but they also want to polish the turd of urbanisation by making dystopian dives look like efficient, modern pockets of eco-friendly mingling. 

    For instance, knowing that most people prefer the more relaxed atmosphere of villages to crowded and impersonal cities, the government of Victoria, Australia supports the 20 Minute City concept in which the village – grocer, butcher, baker, pharmacy, health clinic, bus stop – is integrated into the city.4 

    “Sustainable McDonald’s” is an oxymoron, yet Australia once again serves as a testbed for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) with “sustainable” fast-food outlets that allegedly cut CO2 emissions by a third. The solar-powered “smartly” ventilated takeaway/restaurant in Melton South is a prototype for other sites. Through Podium, Australia is also pioneering the end-to-end digitisation of real estate: from design, purchase, lease, and construction, to repurchase, letting, contract, and the new age of tailored living. This will create a new blockchain for real estate markets.

    In this part of the new world order, constant labour is normalised. “From focus zones to work cafes, the space integrates ‘external’ elements such as coworking and the home office.” Happy slaves must also be healthy slaves. Design concepts include an “ergonomically supportive home office with limited distractions.” There will be a “blend of social spaces with productivity enablers,” such as colleagues who give unconscious prompts to others to work harder. This will be achieved through the design of the building itself. For instance, computers on which people work might be strategically placed near the coffee machine so that the idler sees their colleagues labouring and is prompted to return to work. Exercise machines might be placed near the snack bar so that workers tempted by candy are also guilted into doing a few minutes’ exercise before returning to their toil. 

    THE FOURTH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION

    Covid has given WEF corporations the chance to integrate public health concepts via constant social biosurveillance in their existing 4IR agenda. Over the last few decades, the phrase “new normal” became normal as politicians, intellectuals, and the media sought to brainwash us into believing that terrorism would make total surveillance and travel restrictions a new normal, as would limitations on freedom and growth caused by anthropogenic climate change. 

    Since Covid, the WEF asks: “What will the ‘next normal’ look like?” (Emphasis added). WEF’s message is confused. On the one hand, its authors lessen mental health concerns by promoting community, but on the other, they note that the structure of the socioeconomic order will increase isolation. Facebook is notorious for keeping people isolated in echo chambers, but the new Meta rebranding, as we shall see, will blend isolation and community in augmented, virtual reality (VR) settings. The happy slave will be alone in their tiny, greenwashed hovel but feel emotionally connected with friends in a VR universe.

    When it comes to online shopping, there will be less “face-to-face interaction.” The last-minute deliveries spurred by Covid “will persist beyond the pandemic”5 and be delivered by the kinds of people whom the WEF envisages occupying the above properties. Jab mandates for working people are part of the “next normal,” and patents on the vaccines are of primary interest to the mega-rich. But the WEF is less interested in ensuring the safety and efficacy of Covid vaccines and more concerned with bolstering “vaccine confidence.” Even though the jab appears to be effective only in reducing hospitalisations, the WEF was quick to ask how its thought leaders could work to promote “trust” in big pharma’s rushed products.6 

    It is important to distinguish between words and actions. Sometimes, WEF founder and chairman Klaus Schwab speaks truth and horrifies those familiar with his words. Examples include references to microchipping the population and replacing humans with robots.7 At other times, Schwab seems to say the opposite, acknowledging that what is erroneously called “capitalism” – which actually means state-backed monopoly corporatism – has damaged the younger generations, stagnated the middle classes, and fuelled the climate crisis. In order to look good and paint the global elite’s WEF as some kind of progressive or “woke” (as the right-wing say) face of “capitalism,” Schwab points out that which is wrong with the “capitalist” order.

    The reality is that pretty words and agreement with those injured by profit-driven corporatism is a cover. It is as if an abuser consoles their victim while continuing to abuse them. In his introduction to the WEF’s report on youth, Schwab plays this game, writing things many of us would agree with: that long-term planning is better than short-term profit and that intergenerational parity is better than growing inequality.8

    As part of its pyramid structure, the WEF claims that its global reach on this issue was over two million people, the vast majority of whom were journalists, intellectuals, businesspeople, and community leaders; in other words, rungs on the ladder of hierarchy, not ordinary people. These so-called cultural leaders will shape the doctrines for those below them through entertainment, education, media, and the workplace. 

    The report pays lip service to getting corporations to disinvest from fossil fuels and working with Generation Z’s thought leaders to create a new agenda for sustainability. In reality, it is the same old monopoly corporatism in which ordinary people are the flotsam and jetsam in the plans of those higher than them in the social order. For example, one Lab held in Luxembourg concluded that the WEF should decide what is or is not ethical consumption: “It would be unfair and naïve to put all the burden on consumers having to educate themselves in order to avoid greenwashing.”9 

    If, for instance, someone decides not to buy the latest Apple gadget because ‘child mining’ in Congo extracted the device’s coltan, ‘forced labour’ in China created the product, ‘air miles’ brought the item to the West, and ‘tax avoidance’ enables the company to be a monopoly, a WEF messaging campaign might greenwash and claim that the gadget’s production was ethical and its carbon footprint neutral.

    Another event in Australia concluded that the WEF should harness the wisdom of indigenous people when promoting the new agenda so that people resonate with ancient ways of living whilst continuing to work for corporate overlords. 

    This is a form of mind control in which the labouring masses have internal freedom and believe they participate in a spiritual society, when in fact the limits of their reality are set by superiors who pretend to consult with and gain the approval of those they are controlling. The Davos Lab’s Millennium Manifesto is jam-packed with empty verbiage such as, “We will ask big questions to advance bold solutions.”10

    THE GREAT RESET

    Another aspect of the WEF agenda is what Schwab calls the Great Reset: a professed plan to promote economic and social equity while cementing the structures that guarantee worsening inequality. In addition to trapping working people in properties designed to enhance their productivity and monetise their idiosyncrasies (like the AI temperature control example above), the revolutionary potential of the exploited classes as well as their dissatisfaction will, if the WEF planners get their way, be quelled by the promotion of transhumanism and virtual reality, in which humanity is “reset” to begin anew with biological and digital enhancements. 

    One of the methods of control is trapping people in social media bubbles. After US President Donald Trump came to power (2017–21) and threatened the neoliberal agenda, ideological managers such as mainstream media, think tanks, and political unions, took action against what they call “fake news.” Fact-check organisations have morphed into the guardians of neoliberal elites. Often “populists” like Trump and his supporters lie, misreport, and publish fake news. Fact-checkers expose those lies, but they have a deeper agenda. 

    In most cases, so-called fact-checkers simply argue over interpretations of truth, which the fact-checkers then use to delegitimise real populism. The ideological basis from which they operate promotes the agenda of the World Economic Forum and others. But who fact checks the fact-checkers? Researchers have uncovered their connections to the political, corporate, and media establishment. In this revolving door system, former mainstream corporate media editors and journalists take up new roles as self-professed fact-checkers whose targets are those opposed to the neoliberal order.

    In addition, social media have, for years, been on a deplatforming crusade as part of “woke washing” (while keeping oppressive and prejudicial structures in place) and under the influence of the intelligence services. In their evidence to US Congress after the 6 January Capitol insurrection, both Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey confirmed that because of “security” concerns, domestic US intelligence agencies advised (i.e., leaned on) them to deplatform accounts, including the President’s. 

    All of the above serves to blandify social media content and constrain users to the boundaries of what is acceptable within neoliberal culture. Anything too progressive (e.g., the World Socialist Web Site) or regressive (e.g., Breitbart News) is censored, pushing the entire user base of hundreds of millions of people into a giant corporate-approved echo chamber (e.g., CNN, New York Times). 

    This process is called “digital literacy” by the WEF and others. Without “digital literacy,” people might fall for dangerous “fake news” (i.e., news not approved by WEF corporations). But people might also create and share real news and real information that does not fall within the bounds of accepted neoliberal ideology, such as questioning the efficacy of big pharma-produced vaccines or pointing out the serious problems with the corporate-political elite. In making the world “digitally literate,” the WEF employs doublethink: “Steps must be taken to prevent abuse and harm while maintaining the freedom to openly exchange ideas.”11 

    Slaving for the ultra-rich in personally-tailored smart cities, the younger generations censored into the neoliberal sheep pen by social media will, according to the WEF model, augment their capacities with technology. The transhumanist agenda is specifically harnessed for the older, infirm generations who have gone from being useless eaters – from the WEF perspective – to potential data points for augmentative technologies. As part of the WEF propaganda campaign, the organisation is preparing to “Articulate the potential benefits of artificial intelligence,” particularly for the older generations.12 

    For “older” people, which we assume means the over-60s, WEF suggests placing representatives in the design process, the reasoning being that over-60s tend to have different aesthetic tastes, practical preferences, and physical and cognitive requirements to young people. The young are born into the new technological changes, and those changes become part of their environment. In contrast, the over-60s must adapt. Pursuing profit, companies are using the WEF as a vehicle to help turn the over-60s into transhumanist augmentation technology consumers: home-help robots, implants for better eyesight, time-released painkillers, etc. The WEF does not seek solutions for ending the collection and selling of personal data but rather for more transparency. This way companies can cheat consumers whilst being honest that they are cheating them. The aim is to make consumers feel less angry because they appreciate the honesty. 

    WEF suggests that companies “Disclose the data being collected.” They hope that older people will thus be more willing to have their information sold. The WEF also wants to “Obtain meaningful consent.” The clue is in the word “meaningful,” suggesting that up until now, consent has not been meaningful. One of the more insidious agendas is to “Design for appropriate trust.” Just as they seek to make the younger generations “digitally literate,” i.e., keep them in a mental prison, WEF corporations aim to protect the elderly from “deception,”13 but not the deceptions on which their system is built.

    The WEF is aware that the general public might, if left on their own, form groups, communities, parties, and movements that spread an anti-“capitalist” message and develop new social models. If such a long-term grassroots revolution succeeded, it would not only hurt the profits of the owner-classes but threaten the system they spent so long developing. Repackaging profit-driven agendas as some form of third position between capitalism and socialism is achieved, in part, by rhetorically emphasising “corporate responsibility.”14 

    The WEF also seeks to capture potential revolutionaries by appealing to “social justice.” The WEF intellectuals are aware that young people tend to be driven more than old people by outrage. The right-wing dismisses these young, conscious activists as “social justice warriors.” Instead of encouraging people to change the system in their own image, WEF intellectuals want to make people feel like they have – without actually having – input into their conditions. “[R]ecognising, co-designing, partnering and learning with impacted stakeholders… must be at the centre of any corporate action on equity and social justice in our unequal world.”15

    Another factor profitable to the corporate class is social impact bonds. Historically, the underclasses – those below the working classes – were a financial negative. They claimed benefits, needed free healthcare, public housing, etc. The working classes laboured, the middle classes paid the most relative taxes, and the rich lived off the labour of the poor, profits generated by the consuming middle classes, and hording through tax avoidance. 

    But over the last decades, banks figured out ways of profiting from the underclasses: social impact bonds. Under such systems, government cuts back on social welfare and relies instead on charities to keep offenders out of prison and reach homelessness reduction targets, etc. The banks that fund the charities are then reimbursed by government, and the loans of the banks are serviced by taxpayers. This social impact bond system creates an incentive to have a permanent underclass and champion the alleged virtues of “charity” instead of systemic change that brings genuine inclusivity and democratic empowerment.16 Gerbrand Haverkamp, Executive Director of the World Benchmarking Alliance, is quoted as saying: “[W]e need businesses that can profitably solve societal problems, without profiting from societal harms.”17 This model incentivises the creation of a permanent underclass.

    ENGINEERED ‘LIFE’ IN FAKE WORLDS

    There is a sinister, occultic element to the WEF’s agenda. Certain members who currently practice what they believe to be online “meme magic(k)” are also involved in the development of Facebook’s VR world: the Metaverse. 

    A near-billionaire developer and Trump supporter, Palmer Luckey, used social media to boost Trump’s profile and deflate his rival Hillary Clinton in the run-up to the 2016 US presidential election. Luckey made his fortune selling the Oculus VR headset to Zuckerberg. Luckey’s benefactor, a lobby called Nimble America, believed that “meme magic is real.” The Millennial generation started to use images with text circulated online to boost their agendas and attack their enemies (memes). One famous meme was Pepe the Frog, an innocent cartoon hijacked by racists and right-wingers (usually both) to signal their political allegiances. The cultists behind the spread of such memes believed that they could invoke spiritual power (“meme magic(k)” to vanquish enemies. Pepe, to give one of many examples, is drawn with light reflecting in both eyes in the shape of a Freemasonic dot-triangle. 

    Mark Zuckerberg’s digital avatar introduces the wonders of the Metaverse, his new project for a virtual world that overlays the real one. For the physical human, most interaction inside these VR worlds would be like something out of the 1999 movie The Matrix.

    Regardless of his involvement or lack of involvement in such practices, the executive director of Oculus, Jason Rubin, sent his 50-page report on the Metaverse to Zuckerberg. Just as US military planners devised a “shock and awe” terror campaign to inflict on the Iraqi people in 2003, Rubin said that “shock and awe” tactics would condition the user to accept their new digital life in the Metaverse. CNBC has seen leaked policy documents: “It imagined users floating through a digital universe of virtual ads, filled with virtual goods that people buy.”18

    Chillingly (no pun intended), FB Oculus’s Michael Abrash says: “It all started with Snow Crash,” the futuristic ‘90s novel written by Neal Stephenson. The Guardian, which picked up the Abrash quote, conveniently omits a crucial detail about the novel: that the fictional online world on which the new scheme is based contains a mind virus that can infect users as they merely look at the screen. Likening it to Snow Crash, though providing no evidence, certain individuals claim that the Pepe meme that evolved into something else has, for many years, contained a hidden mind virus. 

    Whether the mind virus is real or not is beside the point. Certain online occultists, including Luckey, are using the fear of mind control, coupled with what Rubin calls “shock and awe,” to get users to submit to the dialectic: a “progressive” Zuckerberg world order of Joe “Build Back Better” Biden in a virtual reality, or a more overtly fascistic world order of “meme magic(k)” and mind warfare using Trump as a frontman. 

    Part of the Trump meme war and the fake news hysteria surrounding the President had the effect of making ‘truth’ a vague and flexible concept. As the concept of truth becomes fuzzy, that which is real is set to become fuzzier. WEF says of Meta: “This could manifest itself in several ways, but many experts believe that ‘extended reality’ (XR) – the combination of augmented, virtual and mixed reality – will play an important role.”19 The WEF hopes that once we have been bombarded into the new system, we will all be Huxleyan happy slaves in their Brave New World, playing with intangible VR toys and mingling with avatars of our loved ones.

    Silent Weapons for the Secret War on You

    The world of non-lethal weaponry has opened the door to technologies that allow the control of one’s mind, thoughts, actions, and behaviours via the use of pulsed high-frequency microwave blasts, electrical transmissions, and directed heat and sound waves. These can bypass our regular inhibitors and enter the human body and brain unbeknownst to the targeted person until they suffer the consequences.

    It’s been going on for decades and not just for war purposes, but to stop protests and riots, silence and incapacitate dissenters, and bring unruly crowds under control.

    LRAD

    For years, law enforcement has been using non-lethal weapons, including LRAD – Long-Range Acoustic Device – which blasts sound waves to cease behaviour by temporarily disorienting the intended victims. But while these devices serve practical and easily identifiable purposes for both military and law enforcement, there exists a more insidious use for this kind of technology. 

    In February of 2022, alternative media reported on the use of LRAD during anti-vaccine mandate protests in Canberra. Australian Federal Police admitted using the device during a Canberra Convoy Freedom rally outside Parliament House. A number of videos and images hit social media showing people with various injuries, such as heat sores, rashes, and what looked like allergy-induced welts. There were also reports of sunburn and heatstroke symptoms, weakness, and temporary and permanent hearing damage. 

    In the Australian Federal Senate, Sen. Alex Antic raised the issue of police use of LRAD at the Canberra protest against vaccine mandates.

    One Nation Senator Malcolm Roberts and Liberal Senator Alex Antic brought the issue before the Senate after Roberts’ office was inundated with complaints from protestors who had been at the rally. Senator Antic showed photos of a LRAD deployed beside members of the police force. Protestors took photos of LRAD speakers on cars near the rally sites, but the response was typical. They were told that LRAD was only used to broadcast communications to the crowd. 

    Despite the onslaught of injuries, there was a mocking tone to many of the responses to claims LRAD was used to debilitate the crowd. The Conversation reported on 20 February 2022 that sonic weapons such as LRAD were used for “crowd control and communication” and that reports of injuries were “inconsistent with what an LRAD can really do.” LRAD was also employed at a Black Lives Matter protest in New South Wales. NSW Police responded to concerns by stating at a press conference that “it was a normal loud-hailer.”

    The first official application of LRAD happened in the year 2000 on the American guided-missile destroyer, USS Cole, when it was bombed by a small boat in a terrorist attack. Naval personnel on the Cole used LRAD to hail the boat but were unsuccessful. Since then, LRAD has become a staple weapon of choice used to deal with riots and protests. Portable LRAD units were photographed with police during the Canadian Truck Convoy Freedom protests in Ottawa, Canada, in February 2022.

    LRAD is often used in loudspeaker mode for crowd communications, but it can also be turned on in infrasound and ultrasound modes to cause different injuries and sicken and debilitate rioters or protestors. Because we cannot hear infrasound or ultrasound, we have no idea the weapon is being used on us until it’s too late. Using a Long-Range Acoustic Device to direct sound has raised concerns with human rights groups about volumes of sound over 90 dB, which can damage a person’s hearing. Because the LRAD beam doesn’t discriminate, anyone in its path will be injured, including innocent bystanders and children.

    In an article, “Did Police Use Sonic Weapons Against Australians Peacefully Protesting Covid Tyranny?”, Reignite Democracy Australia warned that the use of LRAD was “another move towards militarised suppression of legal protests in Australia.” They said this was an outrageous attack by the government on its people. The media, as expected, churned out propaganda to suppress the story, but Canberra protesters used every social media outlet to show what was happening on the ground and, for them, how far democracy in Australia had fallen.

    Bringing the Heat

    In September 2020, Gizmodo reporter Matt Novak wrote an article titled “U.S. Troops Asked About Using ‘Heat Ray’ Weapon Against Protesters, According to Whistleblower.” According to sworn testimony by said whistleblower, federal troops in Washington, D.C. considered using high-tech sound cannons and heat rays against protestors outside the White House in June of that year. 

    Heat weapons were nothing new in 2020. Active Denial System (ADS) is the fancy name for using invisible microwave beams that cause incredible pain by burning the skin of people even at a distance. US troops first used ADS in Iraq after the invasion in 2003. Some speculate the US government uses them on their own soil.

    The ADS produces scalding heat not designed to kill but to injure. Like sound weapons, heat weapons are considered non-lethal and meant to induce pain to disperse a riot or large crowd. Developed by the US Air Force and built by Raytheon Technologies, ADS can produce millimetre-wavelength bursts of energy, capable of penetrating 1/64 inch into human skin. That is enough to agitate water molecules in the dermis and produce a burning sensation strong enough to stop a person from whatever they are doing. 

    ADS has a range of hundreds of metres and can be aimed like a searchlight. Extensive testing has shown that no human can withstand the beam for more than just a few seconds. 

    Directed Energy Weapons

    Directed energy weapons include any kind of directed energy, whether in the form of light, sound, heat, electrical or kinetic, at a specific target or person. These types of devices are not new. 

    The Russian LIDA Machine, which employs EM pulses to make a target exhausted or sleep-deprived, has been in use since before the 1980s. News network CNN broadcast a special report on the work of Dr Ross Adey, who studied the LIDA Machine and appeared with one on the show. LIDA can pulse sound, light, and radiant heat, but usually only towards a person in close proximity. At that time, Adey and his colleague, Dr Eldon Byrd, were studying LIDA as a potential weapon.

    Some of the symptoms or indicators of a directed energy weapon attack allegedly include:

    • Sudden waking at exactly the same time at night, as if prompted by an external force
    • Hot stinging or needling sensations deep within the flesh, especially while attempting to sleep
    • Vibration of muscles and body parts or nearby immobile objects
    • Fast and pounding heartbeat and ringing in the ears
    • Very high body heat despite cool surroundings and lack of actual fever
    • Sudden and extreme fatigue

    Directed-energy “beam weapons” harness light and radio waves as their form of ammunition. The US military has been exploring this pulse energy weaponry for decades. A 2005 article on the MSNBC website, “Despite Promise, Energy Beam Weapons Still Missing From Action,” states that these pulses, which behave much like the phasers in Star Trek, can provide a precise, instantaneous and inexhaustible form of firepower on future battlefields – if the technology is ever logistically realised. 

    It would appear that now is the time that potential can be realised. In early 2022, the US Navy’s Naval Surface Warfare Center established a new division that focuses on research and development of high-power microwave (HPM) directed-energy weapons.

    Over the last five years, directed-energy weapons have been a high-level priority for the US Office of the Secretary of Defense, with funding for R&D roughly doubling over the period. 

    Other countries admit they are also developing microwave weapons and high energy lasers. 

    Both high energy lasers and HPM projects require significant development costs, but the cost per shot is extremely cheap compared to the multi-million-dollar cost of a missile.

    According to defence news reports, HPM can jam devices and physically destroy electrical systems. These reports do not reveal what it does to a human body.

    Another breaking news story on this front in 2022 was the announcement that directed energy microwave weapon systems could be placed on heavy-lift drones to shoot down drone swarms.

    Havana Syndrome

    Directed energy weapons may be the stuff of future battlefield strategies, but for many “targeted individuals,” who report having been on the receiving end of such invisible warfare, these technologies are already being used to control, manipulate, terrorise, and harass off the battlefield.

    In December 2016, diplomats and CIA officials at the US Embassy in Havana, Cuba, reported mysterious symptoms that came on without warning. These included headaches, fatigue, cognitive impairment, vision loss, hearing loss, vertigo, tinnitus, and loss of motor control. Over 200 other diplomats later reported experiencing some or all of these symptoms, as well as US officials in Asia, Europe, Australia, and the United States.

    According to Nicholas Davis, writing in “What is Havana Syndrome?” for American University in Washington, D.C., in July of 2021, victims described waves of pressure inside their heads, walls of sound, immense noises that sounded like swarms of cicadas in their brains… Sounds a lot like Voice To Skull [see accompanying story in magazine]. 

    In the years that followed, several theories and studies have ensued by intelligence agencies in the US, the White House, and medical experts working for or outside the government. The consensus was that these are likely pulsed microwave attacks which could account for the symptoms (another bizarre theory was pesticide exposure).

    Even 60 Minutes and New York Magazine put forth reports, as did many international news agencies, but all suggested the critical problem was analysing the data to find the root cause. For example, 60 Minutes discussed a Stanford University report that looked at the nature of the brain injuries suffered by many victims. Dr David Relman, a professor of medicine at Stanford University, helped lead two government-sponsored panels investigating the injuries. “What we found was, we thought, clear evidence of an injury to the auditory and vestibular system of the brain,” Relman said. “Everything, starting with the inner ear where humans perceive sound and sense balance and then translate those perceptions into brain electrical signals.”

    One of the victims was former US Homeland Security Chief of Staff, Miles Taylor, who told 60 Minutes that he was targeted twice in his Washington home, which smacks of the stories of the many targeted individuals who experience debilitating symptoms in their own homes or workplaces. 

    Regarding the over 1,000 reports of Havana Syndrome, the US Department of Defense and Intelligence communities ultimately admitted they could not identify a “foreign state actor or external device or mechanism to any of those cases.”

    Was it some terrorist group or state actor, or the work of the United States testing its own weapon technology? The frightening thing is this technology allows those who possess it to target anyone, from enemies of the state to individuals who speak out in protest against the government or its chosen narratives. Moreover, because these directed energy weapons can be activated via remote control at a source a distance away from the intended victim, it becomes a huge challenge to capture the perpetrators behind such attacks.

    Conspiracy theorists, who lately have been seeing their “theories” become “fact,” concur on the microwave pulse origin of Havana Syndrome, even going so far as to warn of new EMF/5G/Microwave Pulse Weapons coming down the pike.

    5G Towers

    During the first global lockdowns over COVID-19 in early 2020, numerous countries allowed 5G towers to be erected despite the restrictions, with towers first going up in Wuhan, China, near the lab now considered the birthplace of the virus, as well as towns in Italy that first reported COVID cases, and subsequently throughout the United States and other nations. It is up for debate whether this was the telecom industry taking advantage of the opportunity to put up towers near schools, hospitals, and homes without much community kickback, or a more sinister plan to erect a deadly grid of microwave energy that would one day be far more insidious than a virus.

    Author, researcher, and clinical scientist Dr. Robert O. Young states that “through-wall RADAR, ‘The Havana Method’ or ‘The Havana Effect’, is a bullying and intimidation electromagnetic frequency [EMF] device on steroids to modify human behaviour and to force compliance by terrorising a person with pain and injury with the intent to incite, provoke and aggravate, and designed to humiliate, shame and even kill.”

    Young further elaborates on the extent and power of such technology: “When pulsed at 2.4 GHz (microwaves) and higher frequencies, at embassies, offices, homes and even humans containing GO [graphite oxide], they can then specifically be used for ‘listening-in’ espionage devices. There is no need to do a ‘break and enter’ to place a hidden microphone; the eavesdropping can easily be accomplished by pulsing a microwave radio frequency (MWRF) signal into a building, through walls, directing to a GO inoculated human with or without direct line of sight. The device can pick up any conversations and locate anyone and everyone, anywhere in the world from any DEW [directed energy weapon] cell tower on land or over 20,000 DEW satellites from space.”

    Back in 1975, the United Nations General Assembly considered a draft proposed by the Soviet Union, “Prohibition of the Development and Manufacture of New Types of Weapons of Mass Destruction and New Systems of Such Weapons.” Among some of the latter weapons systems listed were:

    • Radiological weapons that could produce effects similar to those of a nuclear explosion
    • Particle beam weapons using charged or neutral particles to affect biological targets
    • Infrasonic acoustic radiation weapons 
    • Electromagnetic weapons operating at certain radio-frequency radiations which would have injurious effects on human organs

    Unfortunately, the response from Western nations was no response.

    Other treaties, such as biological and chemical weapons bans (both on the battlefield and in civilian streets), have been created and modified, but apparently not one that stops the invasion of the human mind or the use of mediums such as DEWs for individual and group harassment and behaviour control. As these weapons use invisible forces of sound, heat, and frequency to create a new type of weapon for warfare utilised remotely, it is much easier for those with sinister intentions to not only get away with it but also defy treaties or laws.

    Judy Wall, editor and publisher of the 1990s newsletter Resonance, in an article titled “Military Use of Silent Sound: Mind Control Weapons,” claimed that psychological operations weaponry (psyops) was used in the Gulf War. It consisted of “subliminal, mind-altering technology… carried on standard radiofrequency broadcasts.” 

    News briefs in March 1991 admitted that psyops had been deployed once Saddam Hussein’s military command-and-control system was destroyed. A piece titled “High-Tech Psychological Warfare Arrives in the Middle East” described a psyops against Iraqi troops during Operation Desert Storm in which US transmitters overpowered local Iraqi stations and broadcast patriotic and religious music along with “vague, confusing and contradictory military orders and information.” Wall writes that this may have also included a more powerful, subliminal technology at work that used “a sophisticated electronic system to ‘speak’ directly to the mind of the listener, to alter and entrain his brainwaves, to manipulate his brain’s electroencephalograph, i.e. EEG patterns, and artificially implant negative emotional states-feelings of fear, anxiety, despair and hopelessness.”

    Perhaps that is why, as Wall notes, Iraqi troops later surrendered en masse, including majors and brigade commanders who gave up their entire units. What messages might have been coursing through the brains of these soldiers, who at one point were fighting for their cause and then suddenly gave up?

    Author and independent researcher Elana Freeland, in her essay “This Covert Electromagnetic Era: Directed Energy Weapons (DEWs) for Political Control,” writes of the long history and current concerns over this technology, and how it is used on us in secretive ways that have nothing to do with fighting terrorism. 

    She warns: 

    “It doesn’t take a rocket science degree to see that remote satellite tracking and over-the-horizon technologies are not just about ‘terrorists.’ Remote torture and interrogation, memories triggered by neurophone questioning, and brain wave analysers delivering ‘forced conversations’ and programming are about the establishment of electronic POW concentration camps in our homes and workplaces. They’re about mental rape and intellectual property stolen right out of our thoughts…. 

    “Broadcast preparatory sets encoded on microwave beams produce heart attacks, strokes, paralysis, etc. Illnesses like flu are fired at targets. Buildings where dissident groups meet are turned into instantaneous hot spots. Government abductions are disguised as alien abductions with paralysis beams followed by clearing short-term memories and implanting false memories….”

    We could all be potential guinea pigs.

    Sacred Geography & the Legend of Agartha: A Spiritual Journey Between History & Mystery

    The history of peoples is made by the unwritten history of great travels and world travellers – a history that began long before Herodotus or Marco Polo, in the Neolithic or even earlier, in some fantastical age of mankind. Perhaps even at the dusk of the primordial Golden Age, with glaciation or flood, and with the first in a series of catastrophes faced by the human species. Then followed eras of the migrations of peoples and races. If we believe Plato, then the Atlanteans were the first colonists in the world, and they came from the West. Others say that their ancestors were the Hyperboreans, who fled snow and ice in the Far North of the continent. 

    Over the course of subsequent history, peoples would move from North to South and from East to West – and not otherwise. This constitutes their course through history – a path of aging, degeneration and, at times faster, at times slower, of inexorable decline. This is how great conquests began, those that encompass immense regions, entire continents, and this is how great wars start, like the one that raged under the walls of Ilium – or was this only a shadow of some mythical war waged in the far deeper past, during the mythical age of the Earth? Perhaps at the beginning of time, “in illo tempore.” 

    They did not rush towards unknown and exotic lands, but towards their lost homelands, towards mythical lands of the beginning, towards the riches of the Golden Age. Towards primordial, Edenic abundance. Towards Paradise Lost, such as the biblical one, which we have not stopped searching for here on Earth even today. 

    One Islamic mystic, Suhrawardi, claimed that after death the soul returns to the homeland, for merciful Allah himself commanded this, and this would not be possible if he had not previously resided in it. This mythical homeland is to be found somewhere in the “spiritual East.” In order to find the strength for this, we must start from the spiritual West, the “Western wells of exile.” 

    The true journey, true adventures of the spirit, this Sheikh taught, start in the West. This is a place like a grave, a stockade of the burial-place. Arriving on the soil of an unknown continent, Christopher Columbus thought he had discovered the New Earth mentioned in the Apocalypse of St. John. The famous seafarer believed he was in the Gulf of Paria, and in its fresh currents had discovered the origin of the four rivers of the lost heavenly garden, Eden itself. “God made me the messenger of the new heaven and the new earth, of which he spoke in the Apocalypse of St. John, and before that through the mouth of Isaiah,” Columbus proclaimed to King Juan, “and he showed me the place where to find it.” 

    There is no single land, island, or continent in the world that is a mere geographical certainty. The whole  Earth is a sacred text, a holy book written in special signs – or at least this is what mystics and esotericists believe. The words of this text, it is thought, were written by God himself. Every journey is, in fact, a pilgrimage, for we are always walking on sacred ground. Every land and landscape, far and near, possesses hidden meaning and secret significance – spiritual, symbolic, eschatological, and even profoundly mystical. A landscape is at once both a physical and spiritual reality. This is the domain of a secret, mysterious science – mystical and sacred geography – whose knowledge, as happens, has been lost forever over the course of centuries or millennia. 

    The King of the World 

    Legend claims that somewhere, in the depths of the Earth, in dark caves and secret passages, there still lives one such sacred land inhabited by a secret, mysterious people, one hidden from the sight of others, that this is known to only a few chosen ones on the surface, and that this knowledge is a strictly guarded secret. Or maybe it was until recently. This secret kingdom is called Agartha. This legend is ancient and comes from remote prehistory. Agartha is spoken of in the legends of diverse peoples – white, red, and yellow – in both East and West. Agartha is a kingdom hidden underground, populated by a people gifted with miraculous powers, a people that lives in wisdom and immense wealth. But Agartha is even more than that: it is the spiritual centre of mankind ruled by a hidden ruler, the head of its initiatic hierarchy. His title is “King of the World.” 

    Legend holds that this supreme spiritual and metaphysical centre of mankind, Agartha, has not always been hidden underground, nor will it stay there forever. This condition corresponds to the fallen state of humanity, the age of darkness and confusion which, it is said, has lasted for the past 6,000 years. In 1890, the King of the World allegedly issued the following prophecy in the monastery of Narabanchi: “The time will come when the peoples of Agarthi will come up from their subterranean caverns to the surface of the earth.”

    Travellers who have set their minds to find it have whispered about it. Caravan merchants have told exhilarating tales of it in inns and on mountain trails, in deserts and in remote corners. It is known to Tibetan sages whose teachings nourish monks and lamas. The common crowds, meanwhile, ridicule and laugh at such tales as the superstitions of the uneducated and gullible.

    The tale of Agartha reached the West from two independent sources. In a book published posthumously in 1910, The Mission of India (or The Mission of India in Europe), the French esotericist Saint-Yves d’Alveydre introduced the West to Agartha as a Buddhist myth of a secret centre of the world hidden somewhere in the depths of the Himalayas, India, or Afghanistan.

    D’Alveydre’s account was commented upon by another French esotericist, the founding thinker of Traditionalism, René Guénon. Traditionalist thought, through the works of René Guénon, provided an exegesis of this myth: at its deepest root is the idea of the supreme spiritual centre, the spiritual centre of humanity during the last time-cycle of humanity, i.e., the Iron Age in the traditions of the peoples of the West. 

    As Guénon observed, numerous parallels and analogies of this Buddhist myth of the King of the World can be found across the most diverse traditions, from the Hindu and Jewish through the Islamic and Christian to the Celtic myth of the Holy Grail which was subsequently, superficially Christianised. The very name “Aggartha” or “Agarttha,” Guénon writes, means “imperceptible” and “inaccessible” – “and also ‘inviolable’, since it is Salem, the ‘Abode of Peace’” – but the name of the spiritual centre before the present time-cycle was Paradesha (“supreme country” in Sanskrit), whence the Chaldean Pardes or the Paradisus (“paradise”) known to the Western traditions. Moreover, Guénon drew a connection between Agartha and the “Light of the East” of Islamic esotericism.

    Absolute Pole 

    The “Light of the East” is none other than the “Light of the North,” the “Gold of the North” mentioned by classical writers. In other words, Agartha is only one of many projections of the Pole, the North Pole, Hyperborea or Paradise, which has shifted over the course of history from the North to the West and from the South to the East. There exists, to name it, the Absolute Pole. Agartha is an Eastern projection of the Absolute Pole. We cannot seek this mystical Pole above the surface of the Earth, at the top of Mount Meru as it was in the Golden Age or in the Hyperborean cycle, but only underground – not in the polar ice of the Arctic, but in the East of the Eurasian continent. Emanuel Swedenborg issued the mysterious pronouncement that in our age the “lost word” is to be found only among the wisemen of Tatary and Tibet, i.e., in the East.

    Some authors claim that contact has been maintained with this centre during almost all of the historical cycle of the West. This contact was at all times direct and realistic. But the final projection of the North Pole – the sanctuary of the sacred King of the World in the East – has become more and more inaccessible and mystified. It was interrupted only in late historical times. Guénon states that this happened soon after the Thirty Years War, more precisely in 1648, when the “real Rosicrucians,” 12 in total, left Europe and withdrew to Asia, to Agartha.

    The second Western source on Agartha was the Polish traveller and author Ferdynand Ossendowski, who in his book Beasts, Men and Gods, published in 1924, reported on his tumultuous trip throughout Central Asia during the years 1921-1922. There is a moment, Ossendowski claims, when stillness overcomes the world, when wild animals stop in their run, horses stop to listen, birds stop flying, and travellers stop in their tracks. Hordes of sheep and cattle and yaks crouch down to the ground, and dogs cease their barking. The wind subsides into a slow trembling of air, and the Sun stops in its motion. For a moment, the whole world sinks into silence. An unfamiliar song penetrates the hearts of animals and people. This is the moment when the King of the World in Agartha speaks with God himself, when tongues of flame in the letters of the Vattan alphabet erupt from his altar. 

    Ossendowski’s account also received the commentary of Guénon. Guénon explains that Ossendowski wrote the name of this underground kingdom as “Agharti,” whereas Saint-Yves d’Alveydre used the form “Agartha,” “the latter being known to have been in contact with at least two Hindus.” The fact that this mysterious legend from the East reached the peoples of the West in two different versions is explained by the fact that d’Alveydre was inspired by Hindu sources, while Ossendowski was informed by Lamaist ones.

    The accounts of d’Alveydre, Ossendowski, and Guénon do not, however, exhaust the traces and hints of “Agartha.” A book published in the 17th century in Leiden mentions a city by the name of “Agartus Oppidum” reportedly located in the Nile Delta of Egypt. This fact was unknown to Guénon. Lucius Ampelius, a Latin author from the third century, claimed that in this city stood a statue with hands of ivory and a bright emerald on its brow. This statue, it is written, incites panic and fear among animals and people, and especially among barbarians. The word oppidum in Latin means elevation, fort, or hill. The meaning of the word Agartus is unknown and has no meaning in Latin. 

    It is also recorded that long ago, in Medeia, near the southern coast of the Caspian Sea stood a city called Asagarta. Ptolemy added that the inhabitants of this land called themselves Sargartians, and Herodotus claims that 8,000 Sargartians (inhabitants of this lost land) were present in the army of the Persian King Darius. Asgard, the mythical city of the Aesir, was the capital of the Sarmatians and Roxalana. Some researchers equate Asgard with Agartha. Others think that Agartha was exactly that city mentioned by the Roman Lucius as lying on the banks of the Nile. This is a mistake – the very same mistake committed by some in regards to Atlantis or Thule. Agartha is in fact Thule, or rather one in a chain of Thules which appear at different times in different meridians. The same is true of its mysterious inhabitants, who at times come out onto the surface of the Earth. Thus, the name Agartha has been known since ancient times, since the very beginning of history, and it can be found everywhere, from ancient Egypt to Bactria, in its projections, in its representation on Earth, in its secondary variations, just as every Thule, including even Atlantis, is only a projection of the primordial and original Hyperborean Thule, the one erected by the hands of man-gods at the dawn of time.

    Agartha and America 

    The fact that all the known names of sacred-geographical centres corresponding to cosmic cycles and events – Hyperborea, Thule, Atlantis, etc. – come up in investigations of Agartha, and that this is happening in the modern age, especially since the “discovery” of America, is no coincidence. If the discovery of America, or rather the return of America to history, triggered such unrest among peoples, then what will happen if the prophecy of the end of the world is fulfilled and the secret Agartha becomes known to all of humanity? It is prophesied that the people of Agartha will once more come out onto the surface of the Earth. And likewise, Paradise, the Garden of Eden, is hidden somewhere in the East. It is in the East of the “wise sages of Tatary,” Swedenborg claimed, that we should search for the “long forgotten word.”

    What is the link between Agartha and America? Is it the same thread that interconnects all continents? Could their appearance, or rather re-appearance, on the horizon of world history represent a sign of the “final times,” the “End Times?” The “secret” of America was known to the Vikings, the Egyptians, and the Phoenicians even thousands of years before the Portuguese and Spanish seafarers. 

    Esotericists and the adepts of secret societies, mystics and conjurers, astrologers and neophytes, the followers of secret cults and obscure conspirators – all are still weaving their dark webs around Agartha and the deep mysteries that hide this underground kingdom. 

    Get the issue this article appears in

    America is not only the land of the Apocalypse – a story that speaks about the end of the world and the last revelation. The first newcomers identified America with paradise, where even the trees and plants spoke the “hieroglyphic language of our Adamic or primitive state.” The New World was for them a projection of paradise on Earth, by which God baptised his chosen people – the New Israel. Others identified America, on no lesser grounds, with Atlantis, whose downfall was described by Plato. Failing to observe that the Greek philosopher was precise in the details he gave, and that, besides the island of Atlantis, he also mentioned a “land in the West surrounded by ocean on all sides.” This, there can be no doubt, is the North American continent. America is only its shadow, its projection in the Far West, the “false Atlantis.” 

    America is, of course, not the mythical island of Atlantis that vanished in the Atlantic Ocean at the very dawn of history. It is actually the Green Land, the Land of the Dead, the “Kingdom of Shadows” in the West that is mentioned in the legends and myths of many peoples. America is Trans-Atlantis. What is the meaning of the reappearance of a dead, sunken continent, on the horizon of world history? In the same way, Agartha is also a “land of the dead” which, as prophecy holds, is still to be discovered in the depths of the underground. In historical times, this reportedly was realised by some travellers and seekers. One of them was a Mongolian hunter who could not keep his secret, and thus had his tongue cut out by lamas. The Lama Djamsrap spoke of this in his book. Another was an illiterate Norwegian sailor who claimed to have lived in Agartha for several years. The reader will see that these fleeting mentions are not without grounds, and that America and Atlantis are closely connected without the topic of Agartha, the mysterious kingdom hidden in the everlasting dark, deep underground, and deep in the past. It is closely connected with the worlds of the dead and the past – with the past that refuses to die. And it verily conceals many secret histories of the human race.

    And yet, the idea of an underground hiding place of the incarnation of the sacred, celestial principle is in itself contradictory. According to sacred logic, the seats of spiritual authority are to be found in mountains, not in the underworld, which is logically and naturally connected with the chthonic, the infernal, and the hellish. Moreover, archetypes and ideas themselves choose their bearers throughout history, and it is not always possible to accurately distinguish between “real” and symbolic continents, lands, and cities mentioned in sacred texts, from the Vedas to the Bible. In sacred texts, the sacred and earthly planes, physical and sacred geography, physics and metaphysics, constantly intersect. But, overall, these fabulous lands are not the product of mere fantasy: rather, the matter is one of a fragile memory for which it is still necessary to find the appropriate keys. 

    In this sense and according to this logic, the “Light of the North” or “Light of the East,” indeed the “Light of Agartha,” is not strictly localisable on the terrestrial plane. Likewise, journeys to and accounts of Agartha are not only or not mainly travels in geography and history, but travels of the spirit, travels whose “interior centre” is that within man. As the Chandogya Upanishad says, “Now, the light which shines higher than this heaven, on the backs of all, on the backs of everything, in the highest worlds, than which there are no higher – verily, that is the same as this light which is here within a person.” The chains of “Agarthas” lead along and are the chains of spiritual journey. In journeying to Agartha, we are travelling into the light of myth. The reawakening of myth is a reawakening of that hidden, mysterious, inner light within ourselves. In this dimension, “lost and found” lands, islands, continents, and kingdoms like Agartha have something to tell us that is quite different from the “positive geographical discoveries” and “research” of recent history.

    Toward the Practice of the Original Magic of Zarathustra

    One of the enduring signs of the origin of consciousness beyond the limits of our present planet is that of the Persian Faravahar – a winged disk mounted by the figure of a human being. In tradition this is a symbol of the fravashi, individual consciousness, but many also see it as an indication of the instillation of consciousness in humanity by higher beings. This it is as well. 

    The speculation surrounding this sign and its heritage recently received a boost when it was rumoured that in the summer of 2011 the American armed forces discovered a cave in Afghanistan containing the remnants of an ancient spacecraft (vimana). Reputedly the cave also contained inscriptions indicating the cave and its contents belonged to the ancient Iranian Prophet Zarathustra. Such narratives may or may not be true. The point of the present article is to delve into the little-known doctrines of the magical religion of Zarathustra and its unfolding in the West today. 

    Zarathustra, who probably lived around 1700 BCE, is the father of true religion, that is, a set of ideas and practices that can be adopted by anyone from any tribe or nation. This is because he had the flash of insight that the gods and goddesses of the traditional cult of which he himself was a trained priest were but extensions or emanations of One God: Consciousness. This one god he called Ahura Mazda, or Lord-Wisdom. This entity is one, yet it is dual-aspected, male and female, Ahura (Lord) is masculine, Mazda (Wisdom) is feminine. 

    In Zarathustra’s mind this insight (daena) also indicated that all humans were originally exponents of this god and that if people could come to see the Truth the Prophet was explaining, each individual could return or revert to the true religion which was his or her birth-right as a human being. 

    The word daena means both ‘insight’ and ‘religion’. (In Modern Persian it is din [deen].) Instead of seeing ‘religion’ as a strict set of rules and regulations, it is a higher mode of action to strive for insight, or true inner transformation – good thoughts, words and deeds follow from one’s being rather than as a result of trying to follow rules or laws. 

    The magical religion founded by Zarathustra came to be called the Beh Din, ‘the Good Religion’. At first it was a universal religion open to all peoples, but as other religions developed and as the conditions of the surviving Zoroastrians worsened, it evolved into an ethnic faith and conversions were discouraged. 

    Zarathustra was widely reputed to be the inventor of ‘magic’ by the ancient Greeks and Romans. The word ‘magic’ is indeed derived from an Iranian word for ‘priest’, and thus refers to their craft and science. The magi, such as the ones that supposedly visited and honoured the young Jesus, were Zoroastrian priests. The religion which Zarathustra founded can be called a magical religion in that one very important part of it is the technology of ritual whereby changes can be made in the environment and in the essence of the individual. 

    The tribe to which Zarathustra belonged was an Eastern Iranian one and he lived in the region of the present-day Aral Sea. The Iranian peoples spread from the borders of China into the heart of Europe in ancient times. The Persians formed the world’s first multinational empire under Cyrus the Great. The Scythians and Sarmatians were horse-riding nomads who spread out over the steppes of Central Asia to eastern Europe where they productively interacted with the early Celts and Germanic peoples. It is said that the stories of King Arthur and the Grail derive from them. Because the Iranians, Celts and Germanic peoples belong to a common family of Indo-European language and culture, the cross-fertilisation was especially profound.

    Ahura Mazda originally created a perfect cosmos, which at once came under attack from negative shadow forces lead by Angra Mainyu (‘Destructive Spirit’) and his legions of daevas. In order to combat this onslaught, Ahura Mazda created humankind to enter the world to fight the good fight against the forces of negativity. The fravashis, good spirits who originally guarded the ramparts of Ahura Mazda’s celestial fortress, were inspired to choose to incarnate in physical bodies to fight the daevas in the world. 

    Zoroastrian daevas have little in common with Western demons, as daevas are devoid of any positive qualities or heroic dimensions of rebellion against an oppressive order. Ahura Mazda is the friend of mankind and the promoter of mankind’s (re)development toward a god-like level of being. Additionally, Ahura Mazda created a whole range of yazatas, ‘ones worthy of worship’, chief among them are the Amesha Spentas: ‘Immortal Bounteous Ones’. Ahura Mazda is all-seeing and all-good, but is temporarily not all-powerful. But the deity has created the elements necessary to overcome this temporary situation. The Will of individual human beings is, however, necessary for this to be a successful venture.

    Ahura Mazda created humankind by combining a living essence from the terrestrial world with the spirits of the fravashis from the supernal world. These spirits battle for consciousness against the evils of sickness, weakness, ignorance and stupidity. Humankind forms a necessary army of valiant warriors against the daevas, or patterns of negativity and destruction. It is the work of all individuals to awaken to their true natures, develop those natures, and work against all forces of negativity in the world. The first part of this process requires the use of magic. Because every human now incarnate is thought to have originally volunteered to enter this world, and because they are under unrelenting attack from the daevas, Ahura Mazda assures that in the end all individual humans will reach a state of salvation – perfected immortality, both spiritual and physical. There is no eternal damnation because there is no original sin. There is eventual eternal reward because there was original heroism in that every individual fravashi volunteered to enter the fray exposing itself to suffering and numerous challenges. 

    Individuals forget the Truth of their existences and their heritages, but through the Mazdan teachings of magic they can learn to remember. The Lie is that humankind is mortal, sinful and corrupt. Ahura Mazda cannot logically punish eternally his soldiers just because they have sustained grievous wounds in battle. The fravashis of humankind who have distinguished themselves in life and in the battle are actually worshipped as divinities in the pantheon of the Mazdan yazatas (gods or angels). 

    Much is made of the Zoroastrian ideas of this great battle between the angels and demons (yazatas and daevas). It is important to realise that these entities are not humanoid cherubs and imps, but rather are best understood as patterns or paradigms of action and being, rather like biological systems, operating theories, communicative signals, etc. Most are positive and move Creation toward perfection, but some are negative and thwart such progress and cause depression, chaos, inertia, sickness, fatigue, and so on. When the will of the individual is inspired by the Truth, that individual also attracts a number of daevas bent on interfering with the transmission of Truth to the consciousness of that individual. This is why so many a noble beginning ends in defeat. Awareness and the use of certain manthras and other practices shield the individual entering the battle for Truth. 

    During his own lifetime Zarathustra instituted a Great Fellowship (Maz Maga) which carried on the verbatim recitations of his compositions in the Avestan language and the ritual mechanics all of which together formed the original magico-religious technology. The oral recitations formed what are called manthras, akin to Sanskrit mantras, and the ritual mechanics were streamlined and intensified versions of those he had inherited from his tribe. The older versions of the pre-Zoroastrian rituals were virtually identical to the Vedic rites of India to which they were closely related. The new forms were paired down to their essential components and perfected by the Great Fellowship. This Great Fellowship continues to exist. Its esoteric symbol is that of the honey bee. Over the centuries this secret fellowship acted as an embassy to the other peoples of the world at various times and through this agency greatly affected the religions of the world which developed after the inception of Zoroastrianism. Judaism was reformed under its influence around 500 BCE, Christianity was influenced greatly by it, and Islam borrowed much from Zoroastrianism and was in some areas heavily Persianised on an esoteric level. 

    Zarathustra’s modification of ritual was done under the strictest scientific precision to reveal the laws of what the ancients termed ‘magic’. The English magician Aleister Crowley once said the essence of what he termed Magick was the gaining “of knowledge and conversation of one’s Holy Guardian Angel.” The whole idea of angels (and demons for that matter) was borrowed by other religions from the doctrines of the Zoroastrians. The Holy Guardian Angel is nothing other than the fravashi that expresses the divine part of yourself, but of which you remain largely ignorant most of the time. Therefore, the essence of magic can be seen as the raising of consciousness to the level of the innate divine spark, known as the fravashi, and furthermore learning to gain wisdom, insight and knowledge from this innate source. This is the innate wisdom the Zoroastrians speak of. It is balanced by acquired wisdom, or experience. In the final analysis, the Mazdan Way is a balance of the logical and rational with the mysterious and celestial. 

    One of the other extremely important aspects of the Mazdan method, which has already been alluded to, is its doctrine of ethics summed up in the formula: Good Thoughts – Good Words – Good Deeds. The concept ‘good’ indicates: effective, powerful and aimed toward the goals of wisdom, strength and well-being. A more complete practical discussion of this ethical code is contained in my recent book The Mazdan Way (Lodestar, 2017). It is generally held that all people who practice the doctrines of these three ethical components are de facto Mazdans, no matter what they call themselves – Zoroastrian, Jew, Christian, Muslim, pagan, atheist or whatever. The idea that a good people are condemned for all eternity because they didn’t say certain words, or did not undergo this or that ritual, is illogical. 

    One of the main aims of the Mazdan system is to ensure the happiness of the individual. This happiness is known by the Avestan word ushta. Zarathustra taught that life was intended to be enjoyed, and that by being happy, and by enjoying life, helps all seven parts of the Good Creation: one’s fellow humans, fire, plants, animals, the waters, the earth, the sky. These joyous activities above all other things help the good and at the same time do the greatest damage to the negative forces all around us. Every joyous thought, each kind word, and all positive acts cut deeply into the corpses of the daevas.

    In its recent history, orthodox Zoroastrianism has not readily accepted converts, and besides this its culture is one that has been created by and for its followers over a period of almost four millennia. As such it is difficult for Westerners to absorb. A Western form of the Good Religion has been formed called the Occidental Temple of the Wise Lord (OTWL). A basic outline of this religion is given in my book The Good Religion (Lodestar, 2014). This is an independent branch of the tradition of Zarathustra. Adherents call themselves Mazdans, not ‘Zoroastrians’. The school of the OTWL takes into account the history, culture and experience of the West. We have a Facebook page called “The Occidental Temple of the Wise Lord.”

    The Mazdan way is a way of action, not contemplation and intellectual activity alone. This is reflected in its ethical structure, which is at its core. Additionally, the way requires ritual action. A full program of such initiatory work designed for individual practice is outlined in my book Original Magic (Inner Traditions, 2017). Mazdan rituals combine manthras (verbal formulas) with symbolic actions according to the Mazdan theory. Here I provide a simple ritual for readers to try for themselves. Many of the holy manthras are in the Avestan language and were composed by Zarathustra himself or other later seers and priests or magavans. It is thought that these manthras have innate power and that by reciting them from memory the forces locked up in them are released. The key to Mazdan magic is connected to the mysteries of the ancient astrological calendar which ascribed a yazata (god or angel) to each of the three hundred and sixty degrees of the circle surrounding the planet.

    A Simple Mazdan Rite

    The letters in square brackets are phonetic representations of the verbal formulas. Translations appear in quotation marks. 

    Sit at a table in a comfortable position, facing south, if possible. Place before you a water bowl and a votive candle in another bowl. The water bowl should be just in front of the candle. Light the candle with the manthra:

    Yazdan ni yad!

    [yaz-dahn nee yah-d]

    “In honor and glory to the Creator.”

    Gaze at the flame and say:

    Nemase te atarsh Mazdao

    [neh-maseh-tay Atarsh mazdow]

    “Homage to thee, Fire of Wisdom.”

    Contemplate the flame for a few moments and realise it as the earthly manifestation of the divine flame of intelligence and wisdom. Gaze into the water bowl and see in it the primeval waters and the source of all life. 

    Repeat the following manthra:

    Ashem vohu vahishtem asti, ushta asti, ushta ahmai hyat ashai vahishtai ashem.

    [ash-em voh-hu va-heesht-em as-ti oosh-tah as-ti oosh-tah ah-h-mai h-yat ash-ay va-heesh-tay ash-em]

    “True order is the best good, and it is happiness. Happiness for the one who is truly ordered for the sake of the best true order.”

    Such manthras were composed using magical (operative) criteria, not linguistic clarity. Numerological and other factors play a part in their formulation. The basic meaning of the manthra is that happiness is attained by doing things in accordance with right order (Truth).

    The manthra can be repeated as a sort of chant, or you may simply silently meditate on its meaning until you feel that your consciousness has become attuned to that of Ahura Mazda. At that point and in that state of mind you can, if you wish, open yourself to the higher form of consciousness signified by Ahura Mazda and the Amesha Spentas. Once you feel that the vision is clear and you want to charge it, or solidify this insight, touch the rim of the water bowl with your left hand and the vessel containing the candle with your right hand simultaneously. By completing this electromagnetic circuit the higher work is completed. 

    To close the rite repeat the manthra:

    Ashem vohu vahishtem asti, ushta asti, ushta ahmai hyat ashai vahishtai ashem.

    And utter the words:

    Atha jamyat yatha afrinami

    [ah-thah jam-yaht yah-tha afree-nah-MEE]

    “Thus may it come as I wish.”

    Such ritual practice, in conjunction with intellectual study of the teachings, mythology, cosmology, psychology and ethics of the Mazdan Way, constitute the beginning of the inner journey toward the practice of the original magic.
