    Hi-Tech Mass Deception: Are We Being Prepared for a False Flag ET Takeover?

    The following article, published in 2017, discussed developments in holographic technology in the context of false flag events and manipulation of the public. All the more important to keep this in mind in light of recent images of UFOs buzzing US warships, and a renewed push by intelligence agencies to control the UFO narrative.

    Be afraid! Be very afraid! That, apparently, is how the powers that be have wanted us to react to a continuous series of deceptive ‘false flag’ events perpetrated on the public for many years. According to Prof. Lance deHaven-Smith, author of Conspiracy Theory in America: “The term false flag describes covert operations that are designed to deceive in such a way that activities appear as though they are being carried out by entities, groups, or nations other than those who actually planned and executed them.”1 

    Contemporary events that can be labelled as ‘false flag’ include the 1933 Reichstag fire in Berlin that was blamed by the Nazis on the Communists; “the proposed, but never executed, 1962 Operation Northwoods plot by the US Department of Defense for a war with Cuba involved scenarios such as fabricating the hijacking or shooting down of passenger and military planes and the sinking a US ship in the vicinity of Cuba”2; and more recently, the events of September 11, 2001. 

    It now appears we face the imminent danger of a bogus invasion by extraterrestrials. Advances in technology allow for such a scenario to seem authentic. So say a number of experts in fields as varied as physics and politics. In this brief exposé, we will explore what those experts are telling us.

    Dr. Steven Greer’s Latest Findings

    Dr. Steven Greer, Ufologist & founder of The Disclosure Project, has repeatedly warned about the possibility that powerful covert interests could stage a false flag alien invasion.

    A year ago, in the March-April 2016 issue of New Dawn, I reported on a talk given on 21 November 2015, in Washington, DC, by Dr. Steven Greer on “How the Secret Government Works: UFO’s and the Deep National Security State.” Almost exactly one year later, Dr. Greer gave another lecture in Las Vegas, Nevada, entitled “The Cosmic False Flag,” in which he expanded his message to include information on how covert interests have been laying the foundation for a false flag alien threat and a potential militaristic takeover of the Earth since shortly after World War 2.3 

    He detailed reports received from credible, inside sources that, beginning as early as the 1940s, technologies have been developed under para-military Unacknowledged Special Access Projects (USAPs) to stage false alien abductions, animal mutilations, and seemingly real UFO encounters to plant seeds of fear in order to condition and prepare the world for the coming hoax of an alien threat. The purpose of such a threat is to make it possible to establish a much talked about New World Order (NWO). 

    This is exactly what Dr. Wernher von Braun told his assistant, Dr. Carol Rosin, before he died. He predicted that after (1) the “threat” of Communism during the Cold War there would be (2) a manufactured threat of global terrorism from rogue nations of concern, then (3) threat of a world catastrophe from an asteroid impact,4 and, after that, (4) the staged enactment of a takeover by ETs. Von Braun was personally familiar with the secret technologies the West obtained from Nazis who were taken from Germany to the US as part of Operation Paperclip at the end of World War 2.

    Developed much further since that time, these technologies include anti-gravity vehicles, electromagnetic field systems that can materialise objects by trans-dimensional means, and various psychotronic weapons that affect human consciousness. Greer mentions in his recent talk the perfection of holographic systems that appear very, very real. He says these systems are “in the hands of true psychopaths in the covert programs: the military-industrial-gangbankster-global complex of fascists who are desperate to have WW3 be interplanetary.” 

    Digital Tricks and Project Blue Beam

    In addition to Dr. Greer, there are numerous others who have been conveying similar warnings: William Arkin in the 1 Feb 1999 edition of The Washington Post talked about voice “morphing” technology developed at Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico.5 He mentions what he calls “tricks of the digital age” employed as special effects in Hollywood, like Tom Hanks appearing to shake hands with US President Kennedy in the movie Forrest Gump. Used by the military, such techniques can become PSYOPS (Psychological Operations) seeking to exploit human vulnerabilities. 

    For instance, projected holographic images were proposed but not used to simulate the appearance of Allah floating in the sky over Baghdad in 1990 during the First Gulf War. 

    Former Canadian Defense Minister Paul Hellyer: “…their plan is an empire greater in size and power than any empire before it…. It will end all government pretence of government of, by and for the people. It will be a dictatorship… of the privileged elite.”

    Most recently, Mike Adams of Natural News in a 12 Feb 2017 article cites a number of UFO experts who are “warning about what might be the most bizarre event in human history: A ‘cosmic false flag’ where… desperate governments of the world stage a massive fake alien invasion to finally complete their goal of ensuring total human obedience under a never-ending ‘the aliens are coming’ false flag hysteria.”6 He refers us not only to the work of Steven Greer, but includes a link to a video from author/activist Mark Dice who talks about Project Blue Beam which uses what’s called the radio frequency hearing effect to beam and modulate non-directional voices into peoples’ inner ears.7 Dice reminds us that in the 1980s US President Ronald Reagan suggested before the United Nations General Assembly that perhaps we needed an alien invasion to bring the world together by uniting to fight a common enemy. 

    Mike Adams’ article also includes a link to a video by former Canadian Defense Minister Paul Hellyer who echoes a similar warning.8 Hellyer talks about the “deep state” power of corporations, intelligence agencies, US military, and weapons manufacturers whose “collective power is incalculable. And their plan is an empire greater in size and power than any empire before it…. It will end all government pretence of government of, by and for the people. It will be a dictatorship… of the privileged elite.”

    New Dawn’s Interview with Norio Hayakawa

    Norio Hayakawa: “If there really exists a global cabal whose long-term plan is to enforce a global government, the most logical way to carry out this plan would be to create an absolutely convincing need for such an authority.”

    In a New Dawn interview a few years ago with Ufologist Norio Hayakawa, he echoed the belief of Dr. Jacques Vallee that the UFO phenomenon is real but cautions us that we cannot assume it has to do with extraterrestrial visitations.9 Hayakawa went on to suggest that, “it could even be a momentary, holographic intrusion from some form of ‘parallel intelligence’… some form of ‘time-slip’, interdimensional ‘accident’. We just do not have the answer at the present time,” he said. 

    Hayakawa adds: “The late Canadian investigative journalist Serge Monast… was the first to come up with the allegation [in 1993] that NASA will develop this [Project Blue Beam] technology…. HAARP, which began to be talked about in the early 1990s, was basically another version of Project Blue Beam, utilising some of the Tesla technologies…. If there really exists a global cabal whose long-term plan is to enforce a global government, the most logical way to carry out this plan would be to create an absolutely convincing need for such an authority.” 

    Hayakawa mentioned the work being done at Los Alamos, Sandia, White Sands, and Dulce, all in New Mexico. He also reminded us of the related work of famous conspiracy theorist William ‘Bill’ Cooper and of the claims of Robert ‘Bob’ Lazar who says he took part in a top secret government project at Nevada’s Area 51 to reverse-engineer recovered ET spacecraft. (It is interesting to note that Hayakawa and others point to military projects to create holographic projectors for psychological warfare as the probable method used to create the ‘Arizona Lights’ on 13 March 1997.)

    An Independence Day Scenario

     In the 1996 movie Independence Day, Earth is invaded by aliens and attacked.  Could the spectacular visual effects in such movies be applied in the real world?

    Christopher L. Ruby, who calls himself a holistic visionary and runs the Heartcom Network and radio show, has a page on his website that addresses many ramifications of Project Blue Beam.10 He takes a religious bent in predicting one of the goals of the fake alien takeover will be to discredit organised religions in favour of a one world faith, thereby causing further religious wars on our planet wiping out a large segment of the population. He points to media attempts to condition us to both fear ETs and submit to their takeover – programs such as the SciFi Channel’s 2002 Steven Spielberg 10 episode miniseries Taken; the 2002 M. Night Shyamalan science fiction thriller starring Mel Gibson about crop circles called Signs; the Star Trek and Star Wars series; and even the Stanley Kubrick film 2001: A Space Odyssey. 

    While such movies as Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977) and E.T. (1982), as well as the recent highly acclaimed Arrival stress peaceful communication with aliens, they can be contrasted with early films like The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951) and War of the Worlds (1953) as well as the more recent Alien series of sci-fi horror movies, all of which scared the heck out of this writer, especially at a young age. While there are many more flicks I’ve not mentioned, perhaps the most obvious and glaring example of impending alien invasion is the movie Independence Day (1996) starring Will Smith. 

    In short, it’s becoming increasingly clear we’ve been conditioned to be afraid of extraterrestrials over a very long period of time.

    On his website, Christopher Ruby gives details about existing technology that can cause earthquakes at specific points on the planet and that can erupt volcanoes. He also describes how it’s now possible to produce gigantic “space shows” with 3-D optical holograms and sounds projected from satellites onto what’s called the sodium layer about 60 miles above Earth’s surface. The sodium layer refers to a layer within the Earth’s mesosphere of unbound, non-ionized atoms of sodium that comes from the ablation of meteors. 

    Advances in Mind Control Techniques

    From an audio perspective, we know that a combination of electromagnetic radiation and hypnosis has been the subject of research since the 1970s. Ruby quotes a researcher named G.F. Shapits who said back in 1974 that, “…the spoken words of the hypnotist may also be converted by electromagnetic energy directly to the subconscious part of the human brain without employing any mechanical device for receiving or transcoding the message, and without the person exposed to such influence having a chance to control the information input consciously.” 

    This possibly indicates that many of the mass shootings we have seen in recent decades are the result of such influence on what can be referred to as ‘Manchurian Candidates’. I believe it is safe to say those poor unfortunates can be presumed ‘Guinea Pigs’ for testing these deplorable weapons. While we know the Soviets experimented a great deal with that kind of weaponry, it would be a mistake to think the Western powers as well as China have not also perfected and exploited such telepathic instruments. 

    In January 1991 the University of Arizona hosted a conference entitled “The NATO Advanced Research Workshop on Current and Emergent Phenomena and Biomolecular Systems” at which attendees were warned about the potential abuse of their research findings.11 In fact, we now know there is equipment in operation at the CIA and the FBI that treats the human brain and neuro-muscular systems with ultra-low frequency radiation pulses. Perhaps it’s possible to make the blind see, the deaf hear, and the lame walk. But we may never know. Instead, it is more likely that a statement made in an April 1970 Psychology Today article entitled “Criminals Can Be Brainwashed – Now” by University of Michigan psychologist Dr. James V. McConnell is true.12 Dr. McConnell is quoted as saying, “The day has come when we can… gain absolute control over an individual’s behaviour.”

    Ruby’s website also points us to other work being done in this area: 

    Lt. Col. John B. Alexander (ret.) has studied UFOs, the paranormal, and mind control techniques.
    • Loral Electro-Optical Systems in Pasadena, California, has developed a transmitter for the US Air Force that broadcasts at the same frequency as the human nervous system. 
    • The US Department of Defense has a number of publications on extremely low-frequency (ELF) scalar mind control weapons. 
    • Nobel Prize nominee Dr. Robert Becker wrote a book entitled The Body Electric: Electromagnetism and the Foundation of Life which details the dangers to humans of electro-magnetic fields. 
    • A 1978 book by James C. Lin, Ph.D., called Microwave Auditory Effects and Application, describes research into pulse-modulated microwave-induced auditory effects. 
    • Dr. Sidney Gottlieb, an American chemist and spymaster, was best known for his involvement in the 1950s and ‘60s with assassination attempts and the mind control program known as Project MK-Ultra. 

    The December 1980 edition of the US Army’s Military Review featured an article by Lt. Col. John B. Alexander entitled “The New Mental Battlefield: Beam Me Up, Spock” in which he stated: “If it is possible to feed artificial thought into the multigenic field via satellite, the mind control of the entire planet is now possible. An individual’s only resistance would be to constantly question the motivation behind their thoughts and not act upon thoughts which they consider to be outside their own ideological, religious and moral boundaries.” (Emphasis added)

    Combatting the Inevitable

    The now retired Col. Alexander, who figures prominently in the 2004 movie about the US Army’s studies of military applications of the paranormal, entitled The Men Who Stare at Goats, gives us a hint of how we can try to combat the effects of such mind control operations (re-read the italicised text above from Col. Alexander’s article). 

    Dr. Greer emphasises we must educate ourselves about the possibilities of these new weapons. For instance, even though the level of classified holographic technology can now produce an image a thousand times better than that of Michael Jackson dancing on stage seen a couple of years after his death, we need not be fooled! “Question everything,” Greer implores. 

    The new technologies outlined above don’t have to be used in perpetual warfare. They can be used for the benefit of mankind to provide unlimited amounts of energy that make obsolete dirty fossil fuels and nuclear power. Only the few who control those sources of energy benefit from keeping us enslaved to them.

    Paul Hellyer claims we’ve been given only a few months, not a few years, to change. He believes that if a critical mass of five million people read his book, The Money Mafia: A World in Crisis, change will start.13 In it, he recommends an end to private bankers’ control of money by establishing a publicly owned US central bank; full disclosure of the secret government; acknowledging our real relationship to extraterrestrials; the release of patents on free-energy systems; a concerted effort to restore the oceans and the forests; and full disclosure of the technologies presently being used for weather modification (chemtrails) like HAARP. 

    But, perhaps most important for all of us to see will be Dr. Greer’s next effort, Unacknowledged: An Exposé of the Greatest Secret in Human History,14 a new movie that seeks to cover more of what we have discussed in this brief article, and give us additional mental ammunition to fight off Project Blue Beam or any other mind control weapons that are designed to fool us into believing we’re in danger of being invaded by hostile aliens.

    Culling the Herd: Eugenics, Depopulation & the Extermination of Lower Classes

    Eugenics is an attempt to produce genetically desirable children and to terminate the lives of those considered to be genetically inferior. Elements of eugenics exist everywhere. For example, when given the choice, people produce children with partners whom they find attractive. Part of them hopes that those attractive qualities will manifest in the offspring. A more extreme form is infanticide: killing children usually because of physical or mental deformity; a practice as old as humanity.1 In Ancient Greece, Plato and Socrates (c. 470-399 BCE) suggested ways of breeding to promote the superior traits of the elite, as sickly infants were deliberately left to die of exposure.2

    Today, there is a sensible and ethical side of what is often called eugenics. Examples include disabled children having operations to save their lives and individuals with learning difficulties asking for sterilisation because they can’t manage contraception and don’t want children. But institutions like the state, prisons, and medical facilities, as well as privileged elites, use eugenics as a way of trying to exterminate the elements of society whom they consider to be a burden. What started out as selective breeding and infanticide has today developed into forced sterilisation and genetic editing to produce “designer babies.” This thinking also informs certain depopulation agendas.

    ORIGINS OF THE THEORY

    In 1866 in Imperial Russia, the obstetrician Vasilii Florinskii authored a book advocating for scientific methods to improve human traits. Given the poverty of Russia at the time, there were no medical facilities to realise Florinskii’s ideas.3 Russia would not endure a eugenics programme until the Bolsheviks seized power in 1917. In Germany, the term “racial hygiene” (Rassenhygiene) was coined in 1895 by the biologist Dr Alfred Ploetz (1860-1940). The notion later informed Nazi thinking on eugenics. 

    British biologist Sir Francis Galton coined the term eugenics.

    The British biologist Sir Francis Galton (1822-1911) coined the term eugenics (meaning of good birth) and described it as “the science of improving inherited stock, not only by judicious matings, but by all the influences which give more suitable strains a better chance.”4 Galton was inspired by his cousin, Charles Darwin (1809-82), who was cautious about eugenics. The influential book An Essay on the Principle of Population (1798) written by the economist, Thomas Malthus (1766-1834), also influenced Galton. In it, Malthus argued that unlimited population growth was unsustainable. More inspiration came from Herbert Spencer (1820-1903), the sociologist who coined the term “survival of the fittest.”5 In 1907, Galton established the University of London’s Eugenics Laboratory. 

    In Germany, Wilhelm Schallmayer (1857-1919) authored popular books concerning selective breeding among elites to further “civilisation.”6 Just as US eugenicist groups were sponsored by corporate foundations, Schallmayer was promoted by Krupp, the German industrial giant. Most early feminists opposed abortion, so eugenics was, in many ways, a proxy for abortion. In the 1900s, Germany’s Bund für Mutterschutz (Organisation for Maternal Protection) saw feminists and socialists advocate for eugenics in an effort to own their bodies and gain credence in the male-dominated science milieu. The BfM was established by Elisabeth Bouness (Ruth Bré, 1862-1911), who fostered support groups for single, unwed mothers. Other, more right-wing eugenicists like Agnes Bluhm (1862-1943), dismissed the BfM’s utopianism. Men, conversely, tended to see eugenics as an opportunity to further their control over female bodies. 

    English economist and demographer Thomas Malthus, best known for his theory that population growth will always tend to outrun the food supply (hence the term Malthusian).

    Inspired by Malthus, the British Eugenics Education Society was founded in 1907 by Sybil Gotto (1885-1955) and headed by Galton. Forty-percent of its members were women. For many feminists, male dominant sexuality produced “maimed, diseased, unwanted babies.” Dora Marsden (1882-1960), editor of Freewoman, opposed the Eugenics Education Society (EES) as “a conspiracy against the poor.” The Swedish feminist Ellen Key (1849-1926) explained that society should protect all “except that which gives occasion to a weak offspring and produces bad conditions for the development of that offspring.”7

    Eugenicists relied on biology to try to define superior and inferior characteristics. They utilised statistics to try to prove that the lowest classes of people were outbreeding the highest. EES members like the mathematician and later Ministry of Food statistician, David Heron (1881-1969), explained that: “higher net fertility is shewn… to be very markedly correlated with the most undesirable social factors (sic).” We now know that poverty can cause serious cognitive problems in developing brains. At the time, poverty-related impaired cognitive function – then called “feeble mindedness” – was falsely attributed to genetics. A 1912 report by the Committee to Consider the Eugenic Aspect of Poor Law Reform refers to the “feeble-minded” – who could not work and were of negative value to the capitalist class – as “the chief burden on the public purse,” as they required health and social care; both of which were still in their infancy. British eugenicists failed in their lobby to legalise for forced sterilisation,8 passing instead the Mental Deficiency Act 1913, which sought to institutionalise people with particular needs. Many British female eugenicists opposed the Act because it primarily targeted single mothers.9 

    The British economist John Maynard Keynes (1883-1946) is credited with influential theories concerning state-planning over national economies. Keynes believed that law and other coercive measures could be imposed on population abroad to improve their living standards by reducing their overall numbers. In 1914, for instance, he wrote: “In many, if not in most, parts of the world there actually exists at the present time a denser population than is compatible with a high level of economic wellbeing.”10 

    FROM BRITAIN TO THE USA

    According to some scholars, 19th-century pedigree animal breeding inspired US eugenics, with the American Breeders Association splintering to form the eugenics movement.11 By the 1910s, US states, particularly in the south, hosted “Better Babies” competitions, in which the mental and physical characteristics of infants were measured and tabulated by eugenicists.12 Writing for American Breeders Magazine in 1910, C.B. Davenport (1866-1944), director of the Cold Spring Harbor Station for Experimental Study of Evolution, argued that “society must protect itself” from the so-called feeble-minded by “segregation” or even sterilisation. American eugenicists established the Carnegie-funded Eugenics Record Office.13 

    American birth control activist Margaret Sanger was recently targeted by activists over her ties to eugenics and racism.

    The US socialist, feminist, and birth control advocate, Margaret Sanger (1879-1966), opened America’s first birth control clinic in New York in 1916. Sanger also helped to create the organisation Planned Parenthood. But these progressive steps masked another agenda.14 Sanger was a strong advocate for eugenics, even speaking about the subject at a Ku Klux Klan meeting to white supremacists, who had an interest in wiping out the Black population.15 In 1924, the psychologist and feminist, Leta Hollingworth (1886-1939), explained that “the very intelligent are those who rise in the world of competition, and who are also able to produce children like themselves.” Sponsored by eugenics societies, “Fitter Families” competitions awarded medals, inscribed with: “Yea, I have a goodly heritage.”16

    In the US, eugenicists were behind the Immigration Act 1924 which limited the entering into the US of foreign paupers whom the establishment considered genetically inferior.17 In 1927, US Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes affirmed the constitutionality of forced sterilisation when he decreed in the case of Carrie Buck (who was erroneously thought to have had learning difficulties) vs. John Hendren Bell (a eugenicist): “three generations of imbeciles are enough.” (Buck’s mother had also been misdiagnosed with mental disorders.)18 After Buck v. Bell, a dozen US states felt empowered to enact sterilisation laws against the institutionalised.19

    By the mid-1930s, eugenicists recognised their failure to turn their theory and practice into a science. But there was no clear demarcation and eugenicist ideas developed as “reform eugenics.” The majority of eugenics sterilisation in the US was conducted between 1930 and 1960.20 Into the 1970s, federally-funded US medical facilities continued to quietly perform forced sterilisation, usually on Black women; the most high-profile case being that of Minnie and Mary Relf, aged 12 and 14. Other cases included the sterilisation of Mexican migrant women by Californian obstetricians.21 In 1975, the federally-funded Indian Health Service sterilised 25,000 Indigenous women.22

    As part of its population-reducing, one-child policies, between 1971 and 2013, Chinese state and local authorities forced 200 million sterilisations and over 330 million abortions on lower-class women, offering wealthier families the chance to offset their breeding by paying “social compensation” fees. As part of India’s so-called Emergency, declared in 1975 in response to population booms, India began the forcible sterilisation of 10 million people by 1977. Later, allegedly softer measures were imposed, such as financial incentives for poor families to undergo sterilisation: 90 percent of the victims were women and included 4.6 million people in the year 2012 alone. In the poorest state, Bihar, 13,000 medical camps were established to sterilise 650,000 women.

    GIVING EUGENICS A BAD NAME

    In 1920, the German jurist Karl Binding (1841-1920) and the psychiatrist Alfred Hoche (1865-1943) co-authored the book, Permitting the Destruction of Life Unworthy of Living (Die Freigabe der Vernichtung Lebensunwertes Lebens), in which they gave legal and medical justifications for murder as mercy killing (euthanasia). Their text cites eugenics and social Darwinism. Rejected by most physicians at the time, the Binding-Hoche thesis informed Nazi eugenics policy.23 

    Between the mid-1920s and the close of the Second World War, 60,000 Americans were forcibly sterilised. After the Nazis gave eugenics a bad name, US sterilisation typically occurred behind closed doors in institutions.24

    In 1930s Germany, conditions including epilepsy, manic-depression, and schizophrenia were attributed solely to Mendelian regressive genes.25 When the Nazis came to power in 1933, they legislated to have physicians send patients with particular needs, including physical and mental, to sterilisation courts where judges, panels, witnesses, and medical professionals would decide their reproductive fate.26 The Nazis promoted Lebensborn (Fount of Life) to increase the birth-rate of “Aryan” children.27 At least 350,000 Germans were forcibly sterilised by the Nazis up to 1945. Because sterilisation was legal in many US states, the Nazis were not tried at Nuremberg for eugenics.28 

    By the mid-1930s, more than half of Germany’s physicians had joined the Nazi Party, seeing themselves as “biological soldiers” in the war against racial impurity. “Defective” German children were left to die of starvation and exposure in unheated wards. Others were poisoned with cyanide. Nazi Germany’s forced sterilisation law was also imposed on the countries it occupied, including Austria and Norway. The mass murder of “unfit” adults was usually conducted by morphine injections and the issuance of fake death certificates. By 1939, over 200,000 people had been murdered in the T4 eugenics programme.29

    EUGENICS & DEPOPULATION

    One of the more unusual chapters in the history of the eugenics-depopulation agenda pushed by some elites concerns the Georgia Guidestones. Elberton, Georgia, is known as the granite capital of the world.30 In 1979, one Robert C. Christian (pseudonym) commissioned Joe H. Fendley (c. 1935-2005), President of the Elberton Granite Finishing Company, to construct the five, capped slabs of the 19-feet-high monument to “The Age of Reason.” The Guidestones’ inscribed “ten commandments” include depopulation and eugenics: “Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature. Guide reproduction wisely improving fitness and diversity.” 

    We’ve seen how the elites feared being outbred by the riffraff. This theme continued into the late-1960s, with fears that third world populations were breeding out of control and threatening the resources of the privileged. Many of the theories were presented as humanitarian, that the poor hadn’t enough food and space to live worthwhile lives. This was popularised by the biologist, Paul Ehrlich (born 1932), whose book The Population Bomb (1968) presented an internationalist argument for population control through education, contraception, and financial inducements. Under cover of philanthropy, the book pushed an environmental agenda. Notably absent from the book is a critique of capitalism, which observes that children starve because poor countries export food to rich markets, that big industry poisons children as a consequence of profit-seeking, and health systems are often privatised. 

    Founded in the same year as Ehrlich’s book, the Club of Rome was set up by Aurelio Peccei and Alexander King. Its book The Limits to Growth (1972, Universe Books) made much the same arguments as Ehrlich. In 1988, the Club of Rome welcomed a speech by Britain’s Prince Philip (born 1921). In the same year, the noble Prince told German media: “In the event that I am reincarnated, I would like to return as a deadly virus, to contribute something to solving overpopulation,”31 and in doing so exposed the antihuman thread that underlies some of the environmental movement. Infamously, another Club of Rome endeavour, The First Global Revolution (1991), argued that humans need a common enemy. Where states and religious minorities fail to act as that enemy, “the new enemy” would be “humanity itself.” Of course, the Club of Rome’s limited budget was no match for the oil industry, which swamped public opinion with climate change denial propaganda, so their agenda largely failed. 

    Climate change deniers attacked sustainability initiatives such as the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development’s document, Agenda 21, a nonbinding, failed roadmap towards sustainability.32 In fairness to those who see conspiracy, the UN Environment Programme’s co-founder and energy businessman, Maurice Strong (1929-2015), told the Earth Summit 1992: “We are now a species out of control. Our very success is leading us to a dangerous future… [O]verall, this [population] growth cannot continue… Population must be stabilised.”33

    The global corporate system has extracted material wealth from the third world, including food and minerals. In doing so, it has facilitated third world overpopulation (China pop. 1.4bn, India 1.3bn), because poor people tend to have more children than middle-class people due to factors including lack of sex education, the unavailability of contraception, religious indoctrination, male domination, and efforts to increase the likelihood of offspring survival by bearing large numbers of children. 

    In richer countries, like those of North America, Europe, and Australasia, fertility has declined drastically. The wealth that is sucked out of the third world causes socioeconomic changes in the West, where people have affluence in the form of smartphones and packaged holidays but no real wealth in terms of affordable housing or savings. This makes it difficult to raise families. It takes two people to make a baby. That means if the fertility rate is two children per female in her lifetime, global population will not significantly fall or rise above its present rate. Globally, the average number of children per female was 4.7 in 1950, hence the rapid growth of the world’s population. But by 2017, it was 2.4. Across Western Europe, it is 1.7, meaning that Europe is in demographic decline.34

    Unlike the ideologies of the recent past, like those of the Club of Rome, today’s depopulation agenda has coupled with big oil. The Michael Moore production, Planet of the Humans (2020), uses outdated and often false information about renewable energy to attack the green movement (big oil agenda) while simultaneously interviewing privileged middle-aged-to-elderly white males about how people of colour in poor countries are killing the planet (Club of Rome-type agenda). The filmmakers’ solution to overconsumption is depopulation. 

    EUGENICS TODAY

    Today, genetic screening and gene editing have the potential to realise the dreams of eugenicists. Part of their agenda is to own life, while the agenda of the corporations to which some of them ally is purely to make money. This can be done, in part, via patenting genes: the building blocks of life.

    The patenting of life began in 1971. Dr Ananda Chakrabarty (1938-2020) of the giant corporation, General Electric, applied to the US Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) to register a genetically-modified organism (GMO), which he’d engineered to eat oil spills. The PTO rejected the application on the grounds that living things are not patentable. Chakrabarty appealed to the Court of Customs and Patent Appeals, whose judges voted in his favour. The decision allowed anything but a “complete” human being to be patented. Since then, the race to patent every gene and combination means that corporations and entrepreneurs own 20 percent of the human genome via 40,000 patents.35 In 1984, after one John Moore (1945-2001) attended the University of California-Los Angeles for cancer treatment, the University together with the Sandoz Pharmaceutical Corp. obtained and patented his spleen cells (making $3 billion in the process), without Moore’s knowledge or consent. In 1990, the Supreme Court of California ruled that Moore had no rights over his cells. By 2003, 127,000 patent applications were filed for human genes and sequences.36

    What is called “consumer eugenics” is already prevalent in many countries and future possibilities widely discussed in magazines in recent years. Through preimplantation genetic diagnosis, physicians routinely test embryos for hundreds of genes. Parents can select embryos with certain genes to avoid particular diseases – or to pick the sex of their future child.

    In 1998, the geneticist Dr David J. Galton, a relative of Sir Francis, wrote not of the immorality of eugenics but of the need for better regulation: “To prevent such abuses in the future statutory bodies, such as a genetics commission, should be established to provide guidance and rules of conduct.”37 In 2003, the geneticist Charles Epstein wrote: “modern human genetics and medical genetics… are eugenic – if not a literal return to the eugenics of the past, at least a reincarnation of that eugenics in a new guise.”38 Between 2005 and 2016, dozens of female prisoners were sterilised in California without their informed consent.39 Historian Daniel J. Kevles says that humanity “now possesses tools to reshape its own hereditary capacities, perhaps even to realise the dream of eugenicists that human beings might take charge of their own evolution.”40

    Today, dozens of gene-editing companies offer services in agbiotech, biobanking, cell therapy, DNA sequencing, stems, synthetic biology, and vaccines.41 These profit-seeking companies have the potential to work in the interests of eugenicists; for example, by editing genes to enhance certain traits desired by parents. Under the section “New Humans,” the UK Ministry of Defence notes that out to the year 2036: “The application of advanced genetics could challenge current assumptions about human nature and existence.” It goes on to note that, “[i]nitially employed for medical purposes, breakthroughs in these areas could be put to ethically questionable uses.” Examples include “the super-enhancement of human attributes, including physical strength and sensory perception.” It concludes that “[e]xtreme variation in attributes could arise between individuals, [or] between societies, creating additional reasons for conflict.” Another section of the report notes that “biotechnology and genetic engineering may be combined to create ‘designer’ bio-weapons to target crops, livestock, or particular ethnic groups” (emphasis in original). The document ends with reference to the final step in eugenics: ethnic cleansing. In referencing neutron weapons, which kill life and leave property undamaged, the MoD states: “The ability to inflict organic destruction, while leaving infrastructure intact, might make it a weapon of choice for extreme ethnic cleansing in an increasingly populated world.”42

    CONCLUSION

    This article has traced the thread of eugenics from our ancient past to the trans- and post-humanist visions of gene-editing tech-heads. The article has documented how eugenics can infringe upon human rights and even lead to genocide. 

    A final thought concerns elder care and social security in economically neoliberal states. In the UK, the policies of the ruling Tory party (2010-present) have, in the last decade, killed a quarter of a million economically useless Britons via fiscal austerity: old people who needed later-life care, disabled people claiming social security, and the most impoverished who depended on the state for their survival.43 

    In the minds of policymakers, eugenics is alive and well.

    Controlling the Narrative: How Intelligence Agencies Co-Opt UFO Research

    For more than a century, intelligence agencies have used unidentified flying objects as a cover for their secret experiments and weapons. During the First World War, unintended sightings of Top-Secret airships could be attributed to visitors from outer space. In the 1950s, civilian observations of sensitive nuclear and space tests could be attributed to Soviet infiltration or extra-terrestrial incursions. 

    By the 1960s, intelligence agencies had infiltrated the New Age movement and its organisations. Ulterior motives included using the knowledge of UFO groups, like the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), to obtain information about sightings from civilians. For instance, if the Soviets had penetrated US airspace with weapons unknown to US intelligence, their officers posing as MUFON members could glean information on the shape and capabilities of the craft from civilians who thought they were observing alien spaceships.

    Power dominates by dividing to conquer. On one side stand the pro-UFO crowd who believe that some, if not all, UFOs are alien ships. On the other are the anti-UFO-ers who think that every sighting is due to optical illusions, hoaxes, or mental delusions. US intelligence penetrated both groups and used them strategically for different ends, depending on the given circumstances.

    DON’T PANIC!

    Government-sponsored UFO deniers included those mandated by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and others to debunk all UFO encounters in order to prevent mass-panic. Another fear was that if the Soviet Union attacked, the US response could be impaired because observers might think that they are witnessing alien craft. 

    Donald Menzel (1901–1976)

    Donald Menzel was an astrophysicist and Navy Lieutenant Commander who, during the Second World War, was in charge of training cryptographers.1 The Psychological Strategy Board (PSB) was established in 1951 under US President Truman. Its aim was to train diplomats in the language of pro-US propaganda. But the Board had other mandates. They hired Mendel to promote UFO and alien scepticism through a series of books. Another PSB associate was the movie mogul Darryl Zanuck, producer of The Day the Earth Stood Still, written by former US Signal Corps filmmaker Edmund H. North. It was hoped that ufologists could be dismissed as over-imaginative sci-fi fans.2 

    An almost unreadably poor copy of a document to the PSB, written by CIA Director Walter B. Smith in the early-1950s, states that there should be a “[d]etermination of what if any utilization should be made of these phenomena [i.e., UFOs] by US psychological warfare planners and what, if any, defenses should be planned in anticipation of Soviet attempts to utilize them.” The report also wanted to know if UFOs could be controlled by the US and what level of knowledge the Russians had about the phenomena.3 

    In 1953, the CIA’s Office of Scientific Intelligence collaborated with the weapons physicist H.P. Robertson to lessen public interest in UFOs, in their words “to minimize risk of panic,” particularly if the Soviets staged a “UFO” invasion as a cover for a first-strike.4 In addition to quelling public concerns, the Air Force wanted to reduce the thousands of civilian UFO sightings reported to the organisation in volumes that “overload[ed] channels of communication.” A concern was the “[s]ubjectivity of [the] public to mass hysteria and greater vulnerability to possible enemy psychological warfare.” The CIA’s Robertson Panel concluded: “The ‘debunking’ aim would result in reduction in public interest in ‘flying saucers’ which today evokes a strong psychological reaction. This education could be accomplished by mass media such [as] television, motion pictures, and popular articles.”5 

    With this 1947 letter, US President Truman purportedly authorised “Operation Majestic Twelve.” The existence of MJ-12 has been denied by the United States government, which insists that documents suggesting its existence are hoaxed. 

    One of the intelligence agencies’ more elaborate hoaxes was Majestic 12 (MJ-12). The document was supposedly written by the third Director of Central Intelligence, Admiral Roscoe H. Hillenkoetter, and relates to a Top-Secret group of experts put together by President Truman relating to the Roswell crash and alleged recovery of alien bodies. The US Air Force later informed the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) that the document was a fabrication. However, parts of the document may refer to real events not authorised for disclosure, which gave the FBI some cause for concern: “[Department of Defense] representations made to [redacted]… tended to buttress a portion of the document.”6 Hillenkoetter later served on the board of the National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena: a civilian research organisation that, perhaps intentionally, collapsed into disarray.

    Dr. Edward U. Condon (1902–1974)

    In 1966, the Air Force Office of Scientific Research contracted academics at Colorado University to investigate UFOs. The research was led by Dr. Edward U. Condon, Professor of Physics and Fellow of the Joint Institute for Laboratory Astrophysics. But many leading scientists wanted to protect their reputations and secretly plotted to make the report biased against UFOs. Project coordinator Robert J. Low wrote a memo: “The trick would be… to describe the project so that, to the public, it would appear a totally objective study.”7 Staff were interrogated by project leaders over the memo leak and the prime suspect, UFO believer James E. McDonald,8 died some years later in an apparent suicide. Referring to the subject of UFOs, Condon said: “My attitude right now is that there’s nothing to it… but I’m not supposed to reach a conclusion for another year.”9

    PANIC!

    Some operatives in Air Force, Navy, and civilian intelligence had the opposite agenda: to promote UFOs, aliens, and abductions as cover for their classified weapons research. 

    Barney and Betty Hill were an interracial couple, which was unusual in 1960s’ America. Both were members of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and chaired the local branch of the Commission on Civil Rights. They claimed that in September 1961, they were abducted by aliens. Under hypnosis, Barney claimed that sperm and other samples had been taken from him by ETs. Also under hypnosis, Betty said that she had been shown a star map that experts reckoned could be the Zeta Reticuli system. 

    Barney and Betty Hill, an interracial couple, claimed they were abducted by aliens in 1961. It’s possible the FBI tried to link the couple to the Civil Rights movement in an attempt to ridicule the movement. 

    At the same time, the FBI under the direction of the extreme right-winger, J. Edgar Hoover, was waging a secret domestic war against anything progressive. Known as the Counterintelligence Program (COINTELPRO), those targeted included anti-war groups, the Black Panthers, labour movements, the New Left, students, and women’s rights groups. The Civil Rights movement was one of the main organisations targeted. Shortly after the Hills began talking publicly about their experiences, local media began championing their Civil Rights credentials. It seems unlikely that Barney was a COINTELPRO operative, but the Program could have been promoting their story as a way of associating Civil Rights with things that most people consider to be crazy.10 

    Hoover had personally intervened in the UFO topic. In July 1947, a disc built by a human to hoax his friend “crashed” in Louisiana (La.). At the time, the FBI was starting to liaise with the Army on UFO-related events. Hoover wrote by hand: “we must insist upon full access to discs recovered. For instance in the La. case the Army grabbed it and would not let us have it for cursory examination.”11 If it was a hoaxed disc, why would the FBI be interested? If it was a real ET ship, why would Hoover or anyone leave a paper trail? 

    If the US really had a crashed UFO and could back-engineer alien technology to create super-weapons, they would not have released a document pertaining to three child-sized beings recovered at the crash site. Yet, the Guy Hottel memo is one of the most notorious in ufology. Hottel was an FBI special agent and acting head of the Washington Field Office. Three years after the Roswell incident in July 1947, Hottel reported that an Air Force investigator told him of three discs and bodies that had been recovered.12 At the time, the FBI was pushing the Majestic 12 agenda. 

    Just as the AATIP programme today appears to be a psychological operation to make Congress think that Russia and China have advanced aircraft, the British Ministry of Defence advised in secret files in the 1950s: “Monitor all [UFO] reports in case in the future the hitherto unknown/not understood underlying phenomena is being exploited by another nation” (sic). The documents note that “[a]n actual – or potential enemy – could develop a flying device with the characteristics that these phenomena seem to have.”13

    Stories circulated in the late-‘90s that post-Soviet Russia may be in possession of alien technology. Presumably, the agenda was the same: to scare budget-allocators into giving US military developers more cash. Media report that in 1969, a UFO crashed in Sverdlovsk Oblast, in southern Russia. The claim is backed up by obviously staged video footage broadcast in 1998. Footage was purportedly taken by the KGB (or related) of soldiers sent to recover the alien vehicle. More detailed images of the alleged spaceship appear in the form of still photographs. Another staged film of an alleged Russian ET autopsy (no coroners are wearing hazmat suits or even minimal PPE) was supposedly smuggled onto the black market and featured in a US, post-Cold War documentary.14 

    DARE TO BELIEVE

    In the current context of the US military trying to frighten the public into believing that Russia and China are a threat, UFOs remain a hot topic. The CIA continues to want you to believe that UFO sightings and reports are entirely down to them. The Agency tweeted in 2014: “Remember reports of unusual activity in the skies in the ‘50s? That was us.”15

    C.B. Jones (Scott Jones)

    After fighting in Korea in the 1950s, C.B. Jones (Scott Jones) moved into Naval Intelligence before working with the intelligence firm, CACI Management, which worked with the Defense Intelligence Agency. Like Luis Elizondo today, Scott specialised in complex data analysis. In the 1980s, he worked as Special Assistant to Senator Claiborne Pell to study “consciousness research” being conducted in China and Russia. Jones also involved himself in various New Age-linked movements.16 One paper in the CIA archives claims that Jones was a kind of handler for abductee researcher and naturopath, Dr. Rima Laibow, whom the report says had an “exceptional ‘network’ expanding into Europe and the Soviet Union.” The paper suggests that Jones could be an informant tasked with keeping intelligence agencies up-to-date with developments in UFO activities and perhaps to spy on the Soviets under cover of conducting UFO research.17 

    Cryptographer Menzel, mentioned above, was an associate of Philip Klass,18 a senior editor at Aviation Weekly. Like his de facto predecessor Menzel, the debunker Klass authored books with titles such as UFOs Explained. In 1964, FBI head Hoover wrote to CIA Director John A. McCone about Klass’s publications of Top-Secret materials. This suggests that Klass was a significant behind-the-scenes actor. Other FBI documents relating to Klass are heavily redacted, suggesting that he or his associates were linked to the intelligence agencies. One such document states that Klass “only notifies this Bureau…,” but the rest is redacted. The name of one Klass associate in Orange, California, is also redacted. Crucially, one Newark FBI office memo states that Klass came to the attention of the FBI “on several occasions.” The details are again redacted. Other documents cite confidential sources and conclude: “In view of Klass’ intemperate criticism and often irrational statements he made to support them, it was recommended that the Bureau be most circumspect in any future contacts with him.”19 

    Government scientist J. Allen Hynek was hired to investigate/debunk UFO sightings but ended up becoming a believer. The UFO debunker Philip Klass was tasked with discrediting Hynek.

    One of Klass’s missions was to discredit the renowned government scientist, J. Allen Hynek, who was hired to investigate/debunk UFO sightings but ended up becoming a believer. The FBI documents express consternation that Klass was on a crusade to ruin the reputation of eminent researchers.20 Other Klass targets were the lumberjacks of Snowflake, Arizona, whom in the mid-1970s witnessed a UFO that appeared to abduct their friend, Travis Walton. The case remains one of the best alleged abduction encounters in ufology in terms of the evidence and longevity. Klass claimed that the men had invented the story in order to cite force majeure and exit a logging contract. Klass dragged the then-mentally fragile Walton’s reputation through the mud and even bribed Walton’s working-class friend and eyewitness, Steve Pierce, with $10k to pretend that they had made it all up. To his credit, Pierce stuck to what the crew believed was the truth. Astonishingly, Snowflake’s Deputy Sheriff, Chuck Ellison, says that Klass introduced himself to Ellison as “a government UFO investigator.”21

    CONCLUSION

    Not every UFO is an invention of the intelligence services or a Top-Secret aircraft. However, we should always be aware that intelligence officers consider themselves to be masters of illusion. With staged video (deepfakes today), radar spoofing, and the twisting of eyewitness statements, they believe that they can transform perceptions of one thing into something entirely different: always with the goal of achieving ends that are unknown to the wider public. Meanwhile, the truth about unidentified flying objects remains purposefully obscured.

    The Depopulation Agenda: Does it Exist?

    An agenda doesn’t have to be written on some secret government document to prove it exists.1 Ideology and established assumption, loosely based on facts, is enough to motivate many people to act from a place of good faith or to implement a dark agenda. 

    “Most of the evil in this world is done by people with good intentions,” quipped the writer T.S. Eliot. Albert Camus, in his 1947 novel The Plague which resurfaced during COVID-19, said something similar: “The evil that is in the world comes out of ignorance, and good intentions may do as much harm as malevolence, if they lack understanding.”

    Ask people what they think is the biggest problem facing the world and many will say overpopulation. That’s what we’ve been told for a whole generation and longer. And indeed, the world’s population is set to grow in coming decades but then sharply declines on current trajectories.

    The idea of a population problem got its big push with the 1968 publication of The Population Bomb, written by Stanford University Professor Paul R. Ehrlich. It warned of the mass starvation of humans in the 1970s and 1980s due to overpopulation, as well as other major societal upheavals. The book received blanket media coverage and advocated immediate action to limit population growth.

    Later, The Population Bomb was discredited because its predictions were wrong. The real problem was how this book changed perceptions about people in the so-called developing world. Although it wasn’t voiced in such terms, the feeling was that something had to be done about all these coloured people breeding up in the Third World. The book essentially offered a veneer of academic credibility to a depopulation agenda that had real consequences. 

    In the book, Ehrlich argued: “We are going to have to adopt some very tough foreign policy positions… We must use our political power to push other countries into programs which combine agricultural development and population control.”

    These worries about unhindered population growth led to the US government taking certain actions on the basis of its notorious 1974 National Security Study Memorandum or NSSM-200. Covert plans were drawn up to reduce population growth in poor countries through birth control and other measures. It is also alleged that war, famine and disease (AIDS) were part of this agenda. 

    Psychological manipulation is critical because people convince themselves they are saving the world or the earth – ‘good intentions’ – but in fact they are acting within an elite-driven compartmentalised bureaucratic machine on a mission. The general population would turn a blind eye to some tragedies in Third World countries because we all ‘know’ that population growth is out of control (also driven by open and covert racism). 

    Concerns about overpopulation have continued into the present day, and now we have the phenomenon of the super-rich virtue signalling their concern for the future of humanity and planet earth. 

    Income inequality across the world is getting worse and recent annual reports issued by Oxfam reveal increasing concentrations of wealth in the hands of a tiny group of billionaires. They hold more wealth than many countries and can make things happen with their extreme wealth, influencing government policy (one example is George Soros who has donated $32 billion to various causes in recent years). 

    Billionaires often conspire in business forums to figure out ways to increase profit, but they seldom get together for ostensibly ‘good’ causes. In 2009 an elite of billionaire philanthropists met in New York City. Normally such meetings are top secret, but this was different – the cause of their coming together was seen as ‘positive’: how to deal with overpopulation. 

    Dubbed ‘The Good Club’, its members included billionaires Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, David Rockefeller (1915–2017), Eli Broad, George Soros, Ted Turner, Oprah Winfrey, and Michael Bloomberg. According to an article in The Sunday Times of London, headlined “Billionaire Club in Bid to Curb World Population,” the elite gathering took “their cue from [Bill] Gates,” and “they all agreed that overpopulation” was the “umbrella cause” that should subsume all other concerns.

    The central theme and purpose of The Good Club meeting was the priority concern posed by Bill Gates, namely, how to advance more effectively birth control and global population reduction. In the talks, a consensus reportedly emerged that they would “back a strategy in which population growth would be tackled as a potentially disastrous environmental, social and industrial threat.”2

    So here we have a group of people who are not experts in fields of the humanities, biology or genetics (but very good at business) making important decisions affecting billions of people’s lives. You don’t get to the top of the capitalist business tree by being a nice person. Ruthlessness comes with the territory – some might add psychopathy into that mix. 

    Like the rest of us, none of these rich people are immune from believing the general consensus on overpopulation, and the Malthusian proposition that catastrophe occurs when population growth outpaces agricultural production. And you will not find any honest appraisal of their true beliefs because the billionaire class control most mainstream media. So it is interesting to read the thoughts of a former advisor to the President of the Russian Federation, and member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Sergey Glazyev, who recently said that among the Western ruling elites, “primitive Malthusian ideas still prevail, one constantly hears there are too many humans, that the planet, they say, cannot survive so many people, and so on.” 

    The Rockefeller Century

    The negative impact of population growth on all of our planetary ecosystems is becoming appallingly evident.

    Before moving back to the present, we make a brief detour to the past which might inform us of the direction we are heading in the future.

    When, in 2017, David Rockefeller, the de facto Patriarch of the American establishment, died at age 101, he was showered with praise for his philanthropy and life’s work. 

    At the time, a leading analyst of international geopolitics and economics, F. William Engdahl, offered his “more honest picture” of Rockefeller – a hidden history – reproduced at length here:

    In 1939, along with his four brothers – Nelson, John D. III, Laurance and Winthrop – David Rockefeller and their Rockefeller Foundation financed the top-secret War & Peace Studies at the New York Council on Foreign Relations, the most influential private US foreign policy think-tank which also was controlled by the Rockefellers. A collection of American academics gathered even before the outbreak of World War II to plan a postwar world empire, what Time-Life insider Henry Luce later called The American Century. They made a blueprint for taking over a global empire from the bankrupt British, but carefully decided to call it not an empire. Rather they called it “spreading democracy, freedom, the American way of free enterprise.”

    Their project looked at the geopolitical map of the world and planned how the USA would replace the British Empire as de facto the dominant empire. The creation of the United Nations was a key part. The Rockefeller brothers donated the land in Manhattan for the UN Headquarters (and in the process made billions in the increased prices of the adjoining real estate that they also owned). This is the Rockefeller “philanthropy” method. Every grant donated is calculated to increase family wealth and power.

    After the war, David Rockefeller dominated US foreign policy and the countless wars in Africa, Latin America, Asia. The Rockefeller faction created the Cold War against the Soviet Union, and NATO in order to keep a reviving Western Europe under American vassal status….

    If philanthropy should be motivated by love of our fellow man, the grants of the Rockefeller Foundation are not. Take medical research. During the period until 1939 and the War, the Rockefeller Foundation financed biological research at the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute in Berlin. It was Nazi eugenics – how to breed a superior race and how to kill off or sterilise those they deemed “inferior.” Rockefeller financed Nazi eugenics. Rockefeller’s Standard Oil also violated US law to secretly supply the Nazi Air Force with scarce fuel during the War. After the war, the Rockefeller brothers arranged for leading Nazi scientists involved in ghastly human experiments to be brought to the USA and Canada under sanitised identities to continue their eugenics research. Many worked in the CIA top-secret MK-Ultra project.

    In the 1950s the Rockefeller brothers founded the Population Council to advance eugenics, disguised as population research into birth control. The Rockefeller brothers were responsible in the 1970s for a US Government Top Secret project directed by Rockefeller National Security Adviser Kissinger, NSSM-200 titled, “Implications of Worldwide Population Growth for US Security and Overseas Interests.” It argued high population growth in developing nations with strategic raw materials like oil or minerals were a US “national security threat” as more population demands national economic growth, using those resources internally. NSSM-200 made developing world population reduction programs a precondition of US aid. In the 1970s the Rockefeller Foundation also financed together with WHO development of a special tetanus vaccine that limited population by making a woman incapable of maintaining a pregnancy, literally going after the human reproductive process itself.

    If we speak of an unseen, powerful network some call the Deep State, we might say David Rockefeller saw himself as Patriarch of that Deep State. His true acts deserve to be honestly seen for what they were – misanthropic and not philanthropic. 

    In the course of his research, F. William Engdahl also came across documented evidence that the “Rockefeller Foundation had financed much of the work of Margaret Sanger and her eugenics Planned Parenthood organisation during the 1930s when her ‘Negro Project’ in black Harlem was trying to develop ways to eliminate the black population… The same Rockefeller family in the 1950’s created and financed the enormously influential eugenics work of the John D. Rockefeller III Population Council.”

    Engdahl continues: “In June 1952 John D. Rockefeller III convened a secret conference at Williamsburg, Virginia where some thirty of the nation’s most eminent conservationists, public health experts, Planned Parenthood leaders, agriculturalists, demographers and social scientists met. They formed a new group which could act as ‘a coordinating and catalytic agent in the broad field of population.’ John D. Rockefeller III publicly christened The Population Council and announced that he himself would serve as its first president. They organised their vast financial and media resources to spread the myth of over-population that today is blindly accepted by most as scientific truth. They spread the myth that ‘people pollute,’ or as the Rockefeller Foundation’s Alan Gregg preferred to describe growing human populations in the developing world, ‘cancerous growths that demand food.’ Population reduction became the strategic priority, step-wise, of the US Government and then the US-controlled World Bank.

    “The mainstream media that has been controlled by Rockefellers and their eugenics-loving very rich and very loveless friends for decades, pumped us full of the myth that the world was a human ‘population bomb’ as the title of a lying book by Paul Ehrlich, The Population Bomb.”3

    COVID & Bill Gates

    Microsoft founder Bill Gates has made headlines throughout 2020 due to his funding of projects connected to the COVID-19 pandemic, and also because the whole area of population, vaccines and health interests him. 

    Speaking to Bill Moyers in 2003, Gates revealed that “one issue that really grabbed me as urgent were issues related to population… reproductive health.”

    MOYERS: “But did you come to reproductive issues as an intellectual?” GATES: “When I was growing up, my parents were always involved in various volunteer things. My dad was head of Planned Parenthood. And it was very controversial to be involved with that.”

    The reason he said “controversial” was that “population control” and “reproductive health” had been used for half a century as a euphemism for eugenics, the discredited pseudoscience that holds that certain families are fit to be leaders of society by virtue of their superior genes.

    Bill Gates, with an estimated net worth today of $112 billion, was born into money. His father William H. Gates, Sr. was a prominent Seattle-area lawyer who co-founded a powerful law and lobbying firm. Speaking on his father’s 90th birthday, Bill admitted “my dad was a large presence, both physically and in terms of his wisdom.” In his 2009 book, Showing Up for Life, William H. Gates, Sr. writes admiringly of the Rockefellers and their influence in the health field: “Every corner we’ve turned in the field of global health, we’ve found that the Rockefellers were already there and had been there for years.” 

    Dad’s ideas are sure to have rubbed off on his son who, with his wife Melinda, set up the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the world’s largest private charitable foundation. What the Rockefellers achieved was surely an inspiration.

    After COVID-19 hit, the Gates Foundation made it known it was throwing vast sums of money into a vaccine. Gates soon became the focus of theories that went viral on the internet. In early May, a video circulated that the coronavirus was actually a laboratory-manipulated virus deployed to wreak havoc so that a resulting vaccine could be used for profit. As part of this “Plandemic,” Gates would control these efforts so that a tracking device could be implanted in all vaccines enabling full control over the entire world’s population through 5G networks. 

    Most of these ‘conspiracy’ theories were amplified by the fact that in October 2019 Gates, through his foundation, co-organised a pandemic simulation exercise. The ‘Event 201’ exercise simulated the outbreak of a novel coronavirus, modelled largely on SARS, with no known vaccines. It was strangely prescient given that COVID-19 appeared on the scene a few months later.

    Bill Gates’ push for vaccinations and his ‘concerns’ about population are much discussed in the Black community. Earlier this year, in a widely televised address, the Black American leader, the Honourable Minister Louis Farrakhan, accused Bill Gates of trying to “depopulate the Earth.” Farrakhan warned his “brothers and sisters in Africa, if they come up with a vaccine, be careful. Don’t let them vaccinate you with their history of treachery through vaccines…” 

    To avoid the pejorative label ‘conspiracy theorist’ which today is used to silence discussions of sensitive topics, we can simply rely on mainstream media sources on the activities of Bill Gates to help us understand this man’s motivations to help ‘save’ humanity. 

    In his speech to the 64th World Health Assembly on 17 May 2011, Gates said: “And for all 193 member states, you must make vaccines a high priority in your health systems, to ensure that all your children have access to existing vaccines now – and to new vaccines as they become available.”

    In his speech to the Long Beach, California TED2010 Conference, Gates declared: “First we got population. The world today has 6.8 billion people. That’s headed up to about 9 billion. Now if we do a really great job on new vaccines, health care, reproductive health services, we lower that by perhaps 10 or 15 per cent.” This is often cited to prove Gates’ hidden agenda – tainted vaccines to kill off millions. (His defenders claim this comment is about vaccines reducing child mortality rates, thereby increasing the chance of a child surviving to adulthood and encouraging parents to have smaller families.) 

    In June 2020, after Trump cut its funding, the Gates Foundation was set to become the World Health Organization’s top donor. “It would enable a single rich philanthropist to set the global health agenda,” exclaimed Lawrence Gostin, director of WHO’s Collaborating Center on National and Global Health Law.

    Speaking at the Financial Inclusion Forum, 1 December 2015, Gates said: “And the lack of an ID system is a problem, not just for the payment system, but also for voting and health and education and taxation. And so it’s a wonderful thing to go in and create a broad identification system.”

    On transactions: “Once financial flows go underground – where you have lots of legitimate transactions mixed in with the ones you want to track – and once they’re going over a digital system that the US has no connection to, it’s far more difficult to find the transactions that you want to be aware of or that you want to block.” (Bill Gates at the Financial Inclusion Forum)

    Speaking about the coronavirus pandemic and his work toward a vaccine, Gates excitedly told CNBC: “We’re gonna have this intermediate period of opening up, and it won’t be normal until we get an amazing vaccine to the entire world.” 

    Publicly available information suggests that Gates is interested in ‘saving humanity’ by regulating and controlling people’s lives. The same mathematical certainty that Gates found in his computer work can be programmed into the hardware and software of humanity to make us run smoothly – virus-free!

    Barbara Oakley of Oakland University refers to a type of behaviour, more prevalent in this age of “strategic philanthropy,” that she terms “pathological altruism.” This is altruism that attempts to promote the welfare of others but instead results in unanticipated harm.4

    We can be quite certain Bill goes to sleep each night knowing he’s doing great things for humanity while his bank accounts increase exponentially. From the point of view of us mortals in the firing line of the billionaire masters of the universe, we can’t help but think all these efforts are not about improving the world for humankind but securing the world for their own kind.

    Governments and the corporate billionaire class have come up with lots of ways to save humanity by killing large sections of it: wars, economic sanctions, engineered food shortages and disease outbreaks, forced sterilisation, cancers caused by poisoned environments, water and food, and the list goes on. 

    In answer to the title of this article – yes, a depopulation agenda exists, but it’s tightly sealed away in a bubble of propaganda and obfuscation crafted by highly paid spin doctors who ensure we only hear one message: We do what we do because we love humanity and have your best interests at heart.

    The Untold Story of UFOs in China: Lost in Translation or the Devouring Dragon?

    “The universe is an ocean, the Moon is the Diaoyu Islands, Mars is Huangyan Island. If we don’t go there now even though we’re capable of doing so, then we will be blamed by our descendants. If others go there, then they will take over, and you won’t be able to go even if you want to. This is reason enough.” 

    Ye Peijian, a Chinese aerospace veteran and head of the Chinese lunar exploration programme, speaking at the 2017 Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) annual plenary sessions in Beijing, was explaining why China was going to the Moon. Both Diaoyu and Huangyan are contested localities in regions that China regards as Chinese territory. The message couldn’t be more explicit. China going to the Moon and Mars is not just about scientific achievement or national pride – it’s also about forging Chinese power in the celestial empire of beyond.

    The successful Chang’e 4 lander and Yutu 2 rover landing and deployment on the far side of the Moon on 3 January 2019 were both firsts. In January 2020, the China National Space Administration and the Chinese Academy of Sciences released data collected by the lander and rover acquired via a dedicated Chinese communications satellite positioned beyond the far side of the Moon. 

    US President Trump’s citing of “space threats” and mandating the Pentagon to establish the US Space Force had been anticipated and already developed by the CCP’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA), in a restructuring of Chinese military intelligence. Namely, the PLA Strategic Support Force (SSF – Zhanlue Zhiyuan Budui), which focuses on space, psychological, cyber and electronic warfare, under the direction of General Gao Jin, including the Aerospace Reconnaissance Bureau (tianjun bu). 

    A document published by the State Council in Beijing in 2015 declared: “Outer space has become the new commanding heights in international strategic competition. Countries concerned are developing their space forces and instruments, and the first signs of weaponisation of outer space have appeared.” 

    On the back of the paperback edition (2016) of Tom DeLonge & A.J. Hartley’s ‘Sekret Machines’ fictional trilogy Book 1: Chasing Shadows, which is about “alien” threats, former US Major General Michael J. Carey, special assistant to the Commander, Air Force Space Command, gave an endorsement in similar terms to the 2015 Beijing State Council declaration, namely, “Our military leaders have been saying space is a contested environment for years now, perhaps we should believe them!”

    Time will tell if it’s more than only Earth-spawned military war zones at play here, but there seems to be a lot of data nudging us towards what seems an ‘alien’ take: It’s not from around here, mate.

    China’s new FAST Radio Telescope – Tiyan, the “Eye of Heaven.”

    The March to First Contact

    China has even been leading the march to ‘first contact’ in more traditional scientific ways with radio telescope astronomy and its massive observatory dish in China’s Karst mountain region in the Dawodang depression, Pingtang County, Guizhou, southwest China. Formally called the Five-Hundred-Metre Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope (“FAST”), and nicknamed Tianyan or “Eye of the Sky/Heaven,” the dish has been dedicated to detecting interstellar communication signals.

    Chinese Ufologists associate Guiyang, Guizhou province with the 1 December 1994 mini ‘Tunguska’-like event in the Duxi forest farm. This was a destructive UFO presence observed by local residents as a strong flaming light with an associated train-like rumbling noise. While some roofs were damaged, most of the destruction happened to 160 square metres of forest in which trees were broken off at the same height. This may have an association with an ‘airburst’ related to an astronomical event, but Chinese researchers argue for an alien-related UFO event. 

    In that same year – 1994 – the best-known alien abduction in China took place. Meng Zhao Guo, a young tree farmer from Wuchang near Harbin in Heilongjiang province, and two other farmworkers working at Red Flag logging camp saw something unusual on nearby Mount Phoenix. The complex and bizarre encounter that followed involved Meng being hit by a beam of light, as well as allegedly experiencing an abduction and a sexual encounter with a female alien.

    Like so many of the worldwide cases of alien abduction, Meng Zhao Guo’s story is essentially just that – a story – and a bizarre one at that. In China, I was able to have extensive discussions with the principal researcher of the case, Professor Chen Gongfu.

    Another Alien Abduction Case

    While visiting China in 2005, I obtained detailed information on a particularly interesting abduction case. Zhang Jingping of the World Chinese UFO Association had investigated the case which had a ‘forensic’ twist.

    In December 1999, Cao Gong, a middle-aged man from Beijing, claimed to have been abducted by aliens and flown to Qinhuangdao in their UFO. “They looked like humans but had large hands and were very pale,” Cao told investigators. He said he had met a Chinese girl in the flying saucer. 

    Zhang’s investigation began in April 2000. The first step was hypnosis by a famous psychologist from Suzhou. He brought Cao to the Beijing Bureau of Public Security for a lie detection test. “He passed the test,” says Zhang. 

    The Chinese girl in the flying saucer looked around 13 years old. “The aliens cured her disease in the flying saucer,” Cao claimed. In order to find the girl, Zhang brought Cao to the Tangshan Bureau of Public Security in July 2000. “The policemen made up a computer image photo-fit of the girl’s face according to Cao’s description,” says Zhang. 

    In November 2002, Zhang led a group of students from Beihang University (previously known as Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics) on a trip to Qinhuangdao in search of the mysterious girl. 

    “There was only a narrow glimmer of hope of finding the girl with only a computer image of her,” says Zhang. 

    They arrived in Qinglong County to the north of Qinhuangdao and began their blind search among the county’s 400,000 population. 

    “Amazingly, we found a clue on the second day of our search. An old man in the county recognised the girl in our picture,” says Zhang. They found the girl soon after that. She was 15 years old. Zhang brought her back to Beijing to meet Cao Gong. She was identified by Cao as the girl he had seen in the UFO. 

    Fortunately, while in China, I was able to discuss this fascinating case in detail with Zhang Jingping and other researchers, and also talk to Cao Gong himself. Apart from the “healing” aspects, it also includes other aspects of particular interest such as the apparent use of “solid light.” (See my article ‘UFOs & the Solid Light Enigma’ in New Dawn Special Issue V13N1.)

    Chinese Ufology 

    I attended the 2005 World UFO Conference in Dalian, China, which provided me with a good opportunity to witness various manifestations of Chinese Ufology. 

    I was drawn to the event to further my understanding of UFO research activity in China. I was able to conduct a number of interviews and meet with key researchers and identities such as Professor Sun Shili, Zhang Jingping, Professor Ling Huan Ma (a very helpful Beijing based ‘UFO learner’), and Professor Chen Gongfu. Efforts to develop a World UFO Federation were spearheaded by the energetic Jan Fan (who I met in Dalian) of the Dalian UFO Research Association.

    An indirect outgrowth of these efforts was Moon Fong’s Hong Kong UFO group organisation of the 2011 International UFO Conference which featured the major mainland Chinese UFO researchers who I extensively interviewed at the 2005 Dalian UFO Conference – Sun Shi Li, Professor Chen Gongfu and Zhang Jingping.

    Lost in Translation?

    There’s scant information on China’s UFO organisations, so an item in the South China Morning Post (SCMP) online edition of 22 December 2017 by Liu Zhen caught my eye. The headline ran: “Is anyone out there? The days when UFO fever gripped China: Stories about aliens and flying saucers once grabbed the public imagination in China but hardly generate interest now.”

    A reference to my friend Zhang Jingping and the journalist’s take that he was “one of the few people on the mainland still interested in the subject” was such a huge disconnect from the reality I know of. 

    The SCMP story clearly got kickstarted due to the revelations on the secret Pentagon UFO program reported by The New York Times a few days earlier. It does capture some of the history of Chinese Ufology, but its suggestion that China’s “UFO fever” is a thing of the past seems out of touch with what’s going on.

    Here are extracts from the SCMP story:

    “Stories about aliens and flying saucers once grabbed the public imagination in China but hardly generate interest now.

    “The national conversation about UFOs took off in China after 1978, with the revival of science and technology, an area that had been neglected during Mao Zedong’s Cultural Revolution. At the same time restrictions on the media loosened in China, and new science journals and periodicals launched across the country.

    “But Qi Lian, editor-in-chief of The Journal of UFO Research, said her publication was the first of its kind in the country and really put the topic on the map.

    “Back then the general public did not have access to scientific knowledge, and there were many myths surrounding subjects such as physics,” Qi said.

    “By the early 1990s, the Lanzhou-based magazine had a circulation of more than 300,000 per issue, with the readership ranging from top scientists and civil servants to senior citizens and schoolchildren.

    “The enthusiasm for all things extraterrestrial was shared by Spanish translator and former diplomat Sun Shili. Sun had long been interested in aliens and translated Sacerdotes o cosmonautas? (Priests or Cosmonauts?) into Chinese. The book was written by his friend Andreas Faber-Kaiser in 1971, and after the translation came out, Sun was soon regarded as an expert on the subject.

    “That book is a summary of more than 300 books in the world about UFOs, and it was one of the first few on the topic available to intellectuals in China,” Sun said. “The very act of translating it probably made me one of the most knowledgeable UFO experts in China.”

    “Sun went on to co-found China’s first UFO association in 1979, and served as an adviser, before becoming chairman a few years later. By 1988, the China UFO Association had grown to include 50,000 members, and became affiliated to the China Qigong Science Research Association.

    “But the partnership between the qigong and UFO associations ended nine years later due to a controversy over whether qigong was a pseudoscience.

    “Meanwhile, scores of provinces and cities on the mainland formed their own UFO organisations registered with local science and technology administrations.

    “Zhang Jingping, an advertising company owner and a keen UFO hobbyist, dates his obsession with aliens back to the 1990s when he was in his early 20s. Zhang has travelled the country, interviewing people about their claims of extraterrestrial encounters. In some cases, he has hypnotised his subjects to get at the truth. The passion has taken him to the ends of the country, including Heilongjiang province, where a man claimed to have had a child with a female extraterrestrial. The man offered a meteorite as proof of his experience, Zhang said.

    “I spend a lot of my own money to travel and investigate claims of alien sightings in China, purely out of personal interest,” he said.

    “But Zhang is one of the few people on the mainland still interested in the subject.”

    The SCMP story of December 2017 offered up a picture of Chinese UFO interest in its twilight years, but the opposite seems the case. 

    In July 2018 there was a US Roswell UFO Alien Civilisation Theme Exhibition in Chongqing, China with a Walmart connection! Jan Fan attended, promoting the World Chinese UFO Federation. In his opening speech, he said: “Welcome guests from all over the world. So, does UFO really exist? Are there really aliens? For thousands of years, these problems have been lingering in everyone’s heart… The facts will be used to answer everyone’s confusion.”

    Researcher and writer Donald Schmidt, who was a special investigator for the late Dr J. Allen Hynek, also attended to discuss Roswell and UFO research. Chinese UFO research pioneer Sun Shili was also present. Filmmaker James Fox (UFOs: 50 Years of Denial?) was also on hand. On his blog he reported that he got a lot of UFO “gold” from his China visit. James interviewed my friend Zhang Jingping. 

    Zhang investigated an incident he refers to as the 1997 Datong “UFO crash” in which two “aliens” were allegedly present. Zhang interviewed an ex-military source, a young soldier who served three years in the third battalion of the Datong military training division. Zhang shared some details of his investigation with me, and I await with interest possible further developments. At this stage, the 1997 Datong account seems an intriguing story derived from a single witness.

    The momentum of the Chongqing event led to a Moscow conference – Chinese ufology in Russia – which was attended by a few Western researchers including Gary Heseltine, editor and publisher of UFO Truth. The conference sought to progress a world coalition on ET Contact. I was asked to be the Australian representative but declined as the organisers asked for a declaration of belief in ET Contact. I’ve been advised that the conference objectives and plans were not fully delivered by the Chinese delegates, and it seems the initiative is now left to Western delegates to progress. Maybe that might change with further developments. 

    All these developments suggest to me that the South China Morning Post article was itself “lost in translation.” The UFO question in China seems to be ongoing and full of possibilities.
